Where Pets Vacation While You Travel — Calm Home Boarding Near DFW . Located near DFW Airport, Arlington, Six Flags, and AT&T Stadium, we provide a relaxed, home-style alternative to traditional kennels for small to medium dogs and cats. . Drop-off and pick-up hours: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM. . We’ve provided pet boarding on Rover for over 12 years. My husband Tim and I are now retired and home most of the time, so pets receive plenty of supervision, companionship, and affection throughout the day. . Our goal is a peaceful, home-style environment — not a kennel atmosphere. Visiting pets stay in a relaxed household setting with plenty of supervision, affection, and routine. Think “sleepover at a friend’s house” more than “boarding facility.” . Our home features: • Large 6–8 ft privacy fenced yard • Separate dog run area for pool safety • Indoor home environment (not kennel boarding) • Quiet, dedicated room for cat guests with sunny backyard window view • Experienced medication administration (oral + injections) . Pets are never left outside for extended periods, especially during extreme heat, cold, or overnight. . We focus on: • Calm routines • Safety first • Individual attention • Comfortable home environment . In the interest of safety and maintaining a calm atmosphere for everyone, we typically care for small to medium-sized dogs only.

Pat was incredibly sweet to both my pup and me! This was the first time I left my dog with someone my dog wasn't previously familiar with. Pat was reassuring, sent extra pictures the first day, and gave regular updates. My pup came home healthy and happy!

Pat was great! Lola seemed to have had a great time! She was good and gentle with Lola. I’ll definitely be reaching back out to Pat sooner than later.

Schedule

My husband Tim and I are retired and home all day, every day - which means your pets are never left alone, no work calls, no distractions, just calm, attentive care from two experienced animal lovers. We've been caring for pets on Rover for over 12 years and treat every animal like a houseguest, not a boarder.

Safety, trust & environment

Inside the home, we have a system of double gates which prevent any pet from being near the outside door as it is being opened, with exception of the door to the backyard.

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks: Upon request we walk through the neighborhood and occasionally as far as the local park, but most often our doggie guests are simply allowed to explore in our own backyard. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: It depends. We want your pet to be comfortable. Wherever they normally sleep at home whether in their own bed, in their kennel or in a human bed snuggled beside their human and beneath the blanket we try to provide a similar experience here. Time I'll spend with your dog: We are a multi-generational family (kids, mom, grandma). At least one adult is in the home nearly 100% of the time. Many days we are all home the entire day. Your pet will get an abundance of love and affection.

I am unable to keep any dog known to be aggressive, or breeds considered to be aggressive. I also have limits with regards to large dogs in general. My 88-year-old mother recently moved in with me. She gets around with a cane and because of this many large dogs, especially if young and energetic are not a good fit for our home.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
