Leaving detailed care instructions is very helpful. During the visit I will do usual care: food, water, potty break, scooping litter boxes, and giving medications if needed. The rest of the visit is spent playing, cuddling, exercising, providing mental stimulation and receiving all the attention your pet needs. Sometimes when pet parents leave it can be stressful or confusing for a pet. My goal is to keep your furry friend happy and safe while you are away.

During a visit I love to go on walks and let your pup explore new smells and get exercise. If your pet is a runner, so am I! We can run instead of walk. We can play with your pets favorite toys and play fetch if that is their favorite game. If they have a favorite treat, I can give them treats during the visit.

Hi! I’m Aztrid. I’ve dedicated most of my life caring for animals. I got my first cat when I was three and my first dog when I was five, and throughout my life I’ve always had a pet. I have five cats and two dogs. Life is just better with a cuddly fur ball and happy, tail wagging companion. I have 23 years of veterinary experience as a veterinary technician, one year in emergency veterinary medicine and 27 years of pet sitting experience. In 2023 I left veterinary medicine to do pet sitting full time. I have experience giving medications, caring for pets with special needs, and senior pets. I can give medications in pill form, liquid, transdermal, as well as injections and subcutaneous fluids. Keeping your loved ones safe and happy is most important. My veterinary experience helps me understand not just pet care, but medical conditions, symptoms and pet behavior. I will play, walk, cuddle, do home visits, anything your furry buddy needs. If you need care for exotic pets, I have experience and can help care for them as well. I love to take pictures during our visits. At the end of our visits I will send a detailed summary and several pictures.
