Whether I’m caring for your dog in your home or during drop-in visits and walks, my top priority is always your pet’s safety, comfort, and emotional well-being. When I’m in your home, I treat it with the same respect I would my own. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk routines, medication needs, and any house rules you provide. I make sure doors are securely closed, leashes are properly attached before walks, and your dog is always safely supervised during our time together. During walks, I prioritize safe, dog-friendly routes and always keep dogs securely leashed. I pay close attention to their body language, energy level, and surroundings to ensure they feel comfortable and not overwhelmed. If your dog has any reactivity, anxiety, or special handling needs, I’m happy to follow your guidance so they feel secure and supported. For drop-in visits and house sitting, I focus on maintaining your dog’s normal routine as much as possible. Familiar routines help reduce stress, so I aim to keep feeding times, potty breaks, playtime, and rest periods consistent with what they’re used to. I also make sure your dog has fresh water, a clean and comfortable environment, and plenty of attention and affection while you’re away. I understand that trust is everything when someone is caring for your pet and entering your home. I communicate clearly and consistently, and I always provide updates with photos and messages so you can feel confident that your dog is safe, happy, and well cared for. My goal is to create a calm, reliable, and positive experience for both you and your pup every time.

I love making sure every pup gets plenty of attention, enrichment, and fun during our time together! I’ll always tailor activities to your dog’s personality, energy level, and comfort level. Some of my favorite activities include: 🐕 Neighborhood walks & exploring — letting your pup get some exercise, fresh air, and plenty of opportunities to sniff and explore. 🎾 Playing with their favorite toys — whether they’re obsessed with fetch, tug-of-war, squeaky toys, or chasing a ball around the yard! 🦴 Treats & enrichment activities — keeping their minds busy with treat-based games, puzzles, or simple enrichment activities when appropriate. 💕 Cuddles & relaxation — sometimes the best activity is simply hanging out together, getting belly rubs, and keeping your pup company. 🌳 Outdoor time — spending time in the yard, playing, or enjoying some sunshine when the weather is nice and it’s safe for your dog. 🐶 Puppy playtime — for younger dogs, I love incorporating age-appropriate play, potty breaks, basic routine reinforcement, and plenty of positive attention. 📸 Photo-worthy adventures — and of course, I’ll make sure you get plenty of cute pictures and updates so you can see what your pup and I are up to! Most importantly, I’ll follow your dog’s normal routine and preferences. Some pups want to run and play the entire visit, while others would rather go on a leisurely sniff walk and curl up on the couch. I’m happy to meet them where they are and make sure they have a fun, comfortable time while you’re away!
