About: I absolutely love dogs and have many years of experience caring for them. I share my home with my 9-year-old girl, who still has plenty of energy, we’ve enjoyed two walks a day together for the past nine years. We would be delighted to welcome another dog to join us for walks, companionship, and time spent in our secure fenced yard. Your dog would be treated with warmth, care, and attention as part of our daily routine as I think dogs just love to come along for the ride! I am currently working part time, short day a few days of week and the rest of the time I work from home. I am very active and always puttering around the yard and house as dogs love to follow. I often go on long hikes to get out into the woods! My dog is my best friend, so I understand how important trust and care are. We walk every morning and afternoon, enjoy adventures, and can accommodate your dog’s routine and needs. We live close to great walking trails and the beach. Your dog will be well exercised, closely supervised, given lots of attention, and enjoy our secure fenced yard.
About: After having my own dog for eight years, who was hit by a car before we adopted her, I’ve learned how to adapt to an animals needs to ensure they have the best care. Alongside walking, feeding, bathing and entertain, entertaining my own dogs I also have looked after many family, friends and neighbours dogs while they have been away. I’ve experienced with high energy, low energy and senior pups. I work part-time and therefore have a pretty adaptable schedule to be able to look after pets. I’m currently finishing up school and will graduate within the next few months and after that should be able to do longer-term care. I always like to spend time getting to know the animal to make sure they’re comfortable with me and I’m comfortable with them. Ensure I’m following owners rules and commands for for pets and spending time educating myself on their behavior, for example dogs being able to go on leash off leash around other dogs. Besides safety for your fluffy friends and myself, I want to have a great time together as I genuinely love spending time with animals.

We cannot say enough about how absolutely fantastic Lauren is. Our sweet girl stayed with her for a week and had the most happy, contented time in Lauren's care. It made us feel so good knowing that Poppy was so clearly safe and loved and felt so secure with Lauren. We received photos and updates from Lauren each day and each one made us feel deeply happy that Poppy was in her loving care. We went to New Zealand for 6 weeks. Alisa looked after Lucy and sent us photos. Alisa communicated often and sent us photo’s of Lucy relaxing in the house, playing with Haiko and going on walks. If I asked any questions, Alisa responded quickly. I knew that Lucy was well looked after, and because of Alisa’s care we were never worried and could enjoy our time away. I will only use Alisa and family in future to look after Lucy. I recommend Alisa highly.
Heather and her family were amazing with our senior, large and hairy St Bernard puppy. We know this because on other occasions, with different arrangements our puppy has come home somewhat stressed (understandably) - but after leaving her in Heathers care for 19 days, Higgy was calm, content and very clearly well loved. We are very grateful to Heather and her family for first and foremost sharing their love with her. At the end of the day that's what she needs most when in a different environment, love and cuddles! Heather was amazing at communication, sending notes and pictures. I am always a bit nervous about communicating too much, that my timing is off (if we are several time zones away, or if I'm being overbearing) so it was great that Heather kept me informed and updated as to how Higgy was doing. I imagine its not easy to take on a different dog, with different idiosyncrasies, and learn their habits, especially the quirky ones, but Heather and her family seemed to be very adaptable and compassionate with our pup. Higgy received all the care we could have asked for and more. We would use Heathers service again in a heartbeat! Thanks for the endless cuddles and care!
We could tell Millie had a great time with McKenna! Millie can be indifferent at best and anxious at worst with new people, and McKenna, with her experience with reactive dogs, was patient and calm with her. Great communication and frequent updates too. We were so comfortable with McKenna looking after Millie that we rebooked her immediately before her current stay was over.
Kori and Lola took great care of Bleu while we were out of town for 4 days. Bleu bonded with them immediately and seemed to settle right in from the start. Kori provided frequent updates and photos showing Bleu enjoying great walks and hikes. We are so pleased we found Kori.
Callum was amazing with our dog. She boarded with him for a week over Christmas and she had the best time! He was patient with her when she on guard for the first few days and she didn't want to leave by the end of the week. We will definitely be using Callum for everything moving forward.
