Hello! My name is Sarah Rose, and animals have been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for pets since I had my first cat at three years old, and my current little Yorkie is the absolute love of my life. I’ve also shared my home and cared for a senior dog who had diabetes, cataracts, and became blind, so I’m very experienced and comfortable with senior dog care, administering medications, and managing all the routines and special attention that come with supporting aging pets. From 2014 to 2021, I was deeply involved in the dog rescue and rehabilitation community in Mexico, working hands-on with both cats and dogs of all personalities and backgrounds. I gained extensive experience in dog training, especially with larger breeds and more challenging cases, learning how to read canine body language and create safe, supportive environments for every animal. I know pets are family, and my approach is always to care for your pet as if they were my own: with warmth, attentiveness, and respect for their unique needs and routines. Whether your companion is a playful puppy, a shy rescue, or a senior needing medication and extra patience, you can trust me to provide responsible, compassionate care. Schedule
As someone who works from home, I have a very flexible schedule and am almost always available to provide care and attention for your pets throughout the day. Taking my own dog for walks is truly the highlight of my day, and I love incorporating outdoor time and play into my routine. Because I’m home most of the time, I can offer plenty of companionship, regular check-ins, and a calm, reassuring presence for pets who need a little extra comfort or attention. Whether it’s drop-in visits, walks, day-care, or overnight care, I can easily adapt my day to fit your pet’s needs, ensuring they’re happy, safe, and well cared for no matter what.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. In my home, I provide a calm, pet-friendly environment with plenty of cozy spaces, regular supervision, and lots of love. I maintain a clean, secure space - removing any hazards and making sure pets are never left unattended outdoors. My own dog is gentle and well-socialized, and I always take the time to introduce pets slowly and ensure everyone feels safe and relaxed. When caring for pets in your home, I follow your routines and instructions closely, respecting your space and your pet’s unique needs. I keep you updated with messages and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. I am attentive to details, mindful of doors, gates, and feeding routines, and always prioritize gentle handling and positive reinforcement. Whether in my home or yours, I treat every pet as family: with patience, respect, and genuine care.

A typical day
A typical day with me is all about making sure your pet feels happy, entertained, and loved. For dogs, I love outings to Dallas Road if it’s a good match, or finding a peaceful outdoor area tailored to their comfort and energy. Back at home, there’s always time for cuddle sessions, games of fetch, hide and seek, or a well-deserved bully stick. For cats, I create a cozy and relaxed environment with lots of gentle affection, brushing if they enjoy it, and engaging play with their favorite toys or a feather wand. I always pay close attention to each pet’s mood and preferences, whether it’s playtime, a sunbeam nap, or quiet company. My goal is to make every day feel safe, stimulating, and special for your furry friend, no matter their personality.
