I got regular daily updates (photos and videos) and Stacie even completed a daily spreadsheet of Smudge’s activity, which really put my mind at ease. “We tried Doggy Meadows for daycare with our timid and nervous pup Canela and were happy with the whole experience. The place is super clean and looks brand new, which immediately put me at ease. Canela is pretty scared of other dogs, so we needed her to stay separate. They had no problem with the request and took great care of her. I also liked that each suite already had its own bed, bowls, and fresh water. I wasn’t aware that this location is ‘Doggy Meadow’, a lot of great details on their webpage. The owners were very welcoming and greeted us right on time. It’s a family-owned business and you can tell they genuinely care about the dogs. They answered all my questions quickly and clearly, which was a huge relief because it had been a long time since we tried any sort of daycare with our skittish dog - since my sister was our original dog sitter but has now moved. The big gated field is beautiful. Canela got to go on off-leash walks and just roam around happily, which made me so glad we chose them. Her dog, Bruno, was a wonderful companion for Jammy, and the other furry friends, Mochi and Ginger, made the experience even more fun. Chenhui did an amazing job managing the needs of all the dogs while ensuring each one received individual attention and care. We were especially impressed during the meet-and-greet process. Mia was a perfect fit for taking care of our big sucky Doberman! She made sure to give Roxy the same care that she's accustom to at home - allowing her to cuddle in bed and making sure she was snuggled up in her blankie. Roxy loved the frequent walks and all the attention! We'll be sure to check in with Mia for her availabilty when planning our next trip.
Yijie was an amazing dog sitter. My dog is quite anxious, and this was the first time I had ever left her while traveling, but Yijie made the whole experience so reassuring. She was very attentive to all the details I shared about my dog’s feeding, walks, and moods, and she took her on several walks and little outings. She also kept me updated with lots of photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. My dog was clearly comfortable and well cared for. I’m very grateful and would absolutely trust Yijie again. Highly recommend!
Moose was very happy with Lin, picked him up and wasn’t overly shy, which he’s always shy with new people. Not sure how much interaction Moose had with Lin’s dog, but he clearly felt safe enough to not bolt off the moment he got to their house! Would strongly recommend 😊
