Happiest dog & cat on the block
I`ve always been an animal lover and started looking after pets at an early age. When I turned 16, I rescued my first dog - a Terrier Shepard mix named Jack - and started to volunteer at the shelter. If you go on Youtube and search for "Iris working at the animal shelter" you can see me in (inter)action with a bunch of dog, cats and rabbits. I did that for more than a decade and it was one of the most rewarding things I`ve ever done - finding dogs a loving new home. My 2nd rescue was a Doberman who was deaf, so I`ve taught Leo sign language in order to communicate better. I`ve been dog & cat sitting since 2024 and would love to take care of your pet.

Schedule
I generally work on a 8/4 shift rotation which means I work 8 days from 2pm - 9:30pm and then I’m off for 4 days. From time to time I do work from home also. So, overall I`m pretty flexible, but - for boarding and/or housesitting - on days I`m at work, your pet needs to be ok by themselves for 8 hours. I do realize that this will work for some clients, but not all for. Just want to be fully transparent.

I live in a dog-friendly condo adjacent to the waterfront - perfect surroundings to go on extensive walks. Needless to say that I`ll treat your pet like it is mine and give him/her nothing but the best care.
A typical day
I`m very outdoorsy and love being in nature. Hence, I love going for long walks/hikes and it`s just so much better with a four-legged companion. Enjoying some play- and cuddle time is also a big part of my daily routine.
