About: I have always had at least one dog and cared for many people's pets while they were away on holidays etc. Since retirement, my life has become very dog centered. I am almost always at home except for shopping and brief outings. When I am not home my great-grandchildren provide company and play time for my dogs. They live upstairs in the same house & are 14 & 16 their love of all pets shines. I have a well-fenced yard and recognize how it is emotionally difficult for dogs to be away from their home. Especially on the first and second visits, I provide lots of extra love and support. Dogs are considered members of the family.

About: From raising a Guide Dog and training it in my own home for 2 years, to rescuing my own dog off the streets of Thailand, dogs have been my whole life. i’ve house sit a handful of neighbours and friends houses and pets. studying every dog breed possible as a little kid, taking care of dogs is my favourite thing to do as well as give back to others. I’m an athlete in the off season so we train in weekday early mornings, then we have the rest of the day for anything we’d like to do. being an athlete, staying active is a key in life, so walks are very important and i’d love to do it with a furry friend! i’m able to crate your dog if needed. feed your dog on its meal times. many bathroom breaks a day. like to sit outside with my own dog as she loves the sun. play and get your dogs energy out. if your dog is reactive like my dog, i’m able to take it on walks where i know not many other dogs go to or make sure to go to on leash areas.

About: I have raised 2 Australian labrodoodles since they were puppies. I have also raised there puppies. I have also had experience pet sitting for cats and a lot of experience pet sitting different types of dogs from big to small and from shy to energetic. About: Growing up on a farm with various animals, I feel it’s just easier for me to understand their needs. Caring for animals comes very naturally to me and I love them like my own babies. About: I had a Pekingese when I was 12, my grandma helped me with caring of him. After I settled in Vancouver, I adopyed 2 cats and 1 dog, they are living with me and my partner happily! About: I had a childhood Pomeranian that we adopted after the owner became pregnant & developed an allergy. We believe she was about 3 when we adopted her, and she already had had a litter (purebred with a belly tattoo). She passed away 8 years after we adopted her. She had seizures from time-to-time due to being overbred. My boyfriend & I have been together for 12 + yrs now. Him & his mom have had a Yellow Lab & Abyssinian cat the whole time. I'm invested in animal liberation & animal body-autonomy, not just because it reduces global warming. But it seems reasonable and logical that animals deserve body-autonomy just like we do. They just don't have thumbs to defend themselves from us. I don't eat animals, I don't visit the Abbotsford Zoo, and I do not visit the Circus. I do not buy products tested on animals. I've donated to various organizations that do animal liberation & animal body-autonomy. I'm a bit older (almost 40) and enjoy a slower & very uneventful lifestyle. I have an extremely fun and goofy personality but still very quiet. I can follow instructions from your Strata. I let the animal sniff my hand first. I get onto their level by sitting/kneeling while angling myself away instead of directly head-on. + no sudden quick movements. Even we (humans) use body language for most of communication.

About: I grew up with a dog, cat, fish and birds. In my adult years I have had cat and a dog. My last dog was a rescue was 110 pounds and with separation anxiety. Currently have an adult cat who can hold his own against dogs (he is the boss lol). I have a rescue dog from Mexico.
