About: Been in the veterinary industry since 2015. Was in wildlife refuge before that. Graduated from the Thompson Rivers University's Animal Health Technology program where we learned extensively of animal care and behaviour. I have a sassy seven year old domestic shorthair which I love dearly. I will not be available between 9am - 8pm due to being a veterinary technician at various vet hospitals. However I can manage my time well before and after those times for dog walking and possibly sitting as well. About: I have always had at least one dog and cared for many people's pets while they were away on holidays etc. Since retirement, my life has become very dog centered. I am almost always at home except for shopping and brief outings. When I am not home my great-grandchildren provide company and play time for my dogs. They live upstairs in the same house & are 14 & 16 their love of all pets shines. I have a well-fenced yard and recognize how it is emotionally difficult for dogs to be away from their home. About: Growing up on a farm with various animals, I feel it’s just easier for me to understand their needs. Caring for animals comes very naturally to me and I love them like my own babies. About: I had a Pekingese when I was 12, my grandma helped me with caring of him. After I settled in Vancouver, I adopyed 2 cats and 1 dog, they are living with me and my partner happily! About: I took care of my late dog, Piper for 12 years so I have experience with elderly dogs and young pups, including administering medicine and differing walking personalities I go to school full time so after or before school I can help take care of the dogs.
