“Samia did such an amazing job looking after my cat whilst I was away for a few days. Knowing she has cats herself, Samia understands how to look after them, knows how to care for them, and gets their little behaviours and personalities. Samia herself is a warm and lovely person, and communication was always so great - especially receiving photos and updates each day…on top of this, also reminding me my fish needed feeding (safe to say thanks to Samia, the fish went without hunger). I will definitely be reaching out to Samia again, thank you so much for being so great 😊”

About: I’m a dedicated dog owner with hands-on experience, especially with small breeds, so I understand how to keep dogs calm, safe, and comfortable. I’m patient and consistent with puppies—helping reinforce potty training, crate routines, leash manners, and basic commands using positive guidance. For senior dogs, I provide gentle, slower-paced care with close attention to comfort, mobility, and routine. I treat every dog like my own and keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you always know your dog is happy and in good hands. I am a full time student at UBC and currently on break hence I have lots of free time to hangout and take care of all pups. n my home, I provide a calm, clean, and safe environment with consistent routines for walks, feeding, and rest. I adjust care based on each dog’s needs so they feel comfortable and secure. In my client’s home, I follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible and carefully follow all instructions to keep things familiar and stress-free. In both cases, I’m patient, attentive, and treat every dog like my own.
“I honestly can’t say enough about Nasrin’s kindness, sweetness, and gentle care for my cat, Lillian. She’s an absolutely wonderful person—I would happily leave Lillian with Nasrin again and travel around the world knowing that an angel is watching over her with so much love and attention. This was a last-minute request, and Nasrin turned it into a beautiful experience and a lovely new friendship. ❤️ 100% responsible and reliable person 100% recommended You’re amazing, Nasrin! 😻 Thank you 🙏”

About: Growing up on a farm with various animals, I feel it’s just easier for me to understand their needs. Caring for animals comes very naturally to me and I love them like my own babies. Obviously I have always worked in the pet care industry and have been running my own pet boarding facility, back home, for the past 14yrs. My husband and I work but we always prioritise our kid and pets, so ur little fur babies will always be top on our list!! At home we have a fenced patio for ur little one to run around and enjoy in safety..and our 10yr old daughter is always ready to play a game of fetch or give ur little one a good brushing ! As ur fur baby will be the only one boarding with us , they will be the center of attention and recipient of a whole lotta therapeutic cuddles on a daily basis :)
About: Been in the veterinary industry since 2015. Was in wildlife refuge before that. Graduated from the Thompson Rivers University's Animal Health Technology program where we learned extensively of animal care and behaviour. I have a sassy seven year old domestic shorthair which I love dearly. I will not be available between 9am - 8pm due to being a veterinary technician at various vet hospitals. However I can manage my time well before and after those times for dog walking and possibly sitting as well. I am well versed in the calm and playful care of cats and dogs from my 10 + experience in the veterinary industry. This program allows us to interact with various canines and felines in a daily basis.
About: I have lost my dog in 2023 and I feel the need to give back and to help people take care of the ones who help and are there for us on our worst and best days. About: I have always had at least one dog and cared for many people's pets while they were away on holidays etc. Since retirement, my life has become very dog centered. I am almost always at home except for shopping and brief outings. When I am not home my great-grandchildren provide company and play time for my dogs. They live upstairs in the same house & are 14 & 16 their love of all pets shines. I have a well-fenced yard and recognize how it is emotionally difficult for dogs to be away from their home. Especially on the first and second visits, I provide lots of extra love and support. Dogs are considered members of the family.
About: I had a Pekingese when I was 12, my grandma helped me with caring of him. After I settled in Vancouver, I adopyed 2 cats and 1 dog, they are living with me and my partner happily! I really enjoy spending time with furry friends. I'm currently working as part time/ sub teacher for daycare, and I'm trnasitioning my career from daycare teacher to other fields. As a full-time professional pet sitter, I dedicate my entire schedule to the care and happiness of your dogs and cats. My home is thoroughly pet-proofed to prevent access to harmful items. The yard is securely fenced. I limit the number of pets I host to ensure every cat receives plenty of individualized attention, cuddles, and focused play. “Our dog was well cared for, given time and attention, food and water. We absolutely would recommend Narjis with no hesitation - she has excellent communication and our dog thrives under her care.”
About: Nurturing a Pet Haven: My Journey in Animal Care From the wagging tails of ten dogs—three of whom have crossed the rainbow bridge—to the gentle flutter of bird wings and the serene swims of turtles and fish, my home has been a sanctuary for diverse pets. Each day, I craft nutritious home-cooked meals, tailored to their needs, while meticulously managing their medications and grooming routines. This daily ritual is more than a task; it’s a labor of love, ensuring that every creature in my care thrives and feels cherished. I am currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to take sittings on weekdays as I work on weekends. I can sometimes contribute on weekends too. I will be doing the duties at client’s home with complete secure sitting. I can provide valid background check and profile info and with few references.
About: I had a childhood Pomeranian that we adopted after the owner became pregnant & developed an allergy. We believe she was about 3 when we adopted her, and she already had had a litter (purebred with a belly tattoo). She passed away 8 years after we adopted her. She had seizures from time-to-time due to being overbred. My boyfriend & I have been together for 12 + yrs now. Him & his mom have had a Yellow Lab & Abyssinian cat the whole time. I'm invested in animal liberation & animal body-autonomy, not just because it reduces global warming. But it seems reasonable and logical that animals deserve body-autonomy just like we do. They just don't have thumbs to defend themselves from us. I don't eat animals, I don't visit the Abbotsford Zoo, and I do not visit the Circus. I do not buy products tested on animals. I've donated to various organizations that do animal liberation & animal body-autonomy. I'm a bit older (almost 40) and enjoy a slower & very uneventful lifestyle. I have an extremely fun and goofy personality but still very quiet. I can follow instructions from your Strata. I let the animal sniff my hand first. I get onto their level by sitting/kneeling while angling myself away instead of directly head-on. + no sudden quick movements. Even we (humans) use body language for most of communication.

About: With over ten years of hands-on experience with animals, I’ve cared for dogs, cats, foster animals, and currently have guinea pigs of my own. I’ve helped neighbors, friends, and family with their pets throughout the years, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust. As a Special Needs Educator, I’m trained to work with patience, attentiveness, and a calm presence — qualities I bring to every animal I care for too. I’m a genuine animal lover who wants to support my community, whether you’re away at work or traveling. Your fur baby will be in warm, experienced, and responsible hands! I work as an educator, so I have a structured routine and take reliability seriously. I’m available for drop-in visits and happy to work around your schedule to make sure your pet gets the attention and care they deserve. Your pet’s safety is my top priority.
