About: I am a young professional who works from home every day. I have been missing the puppy-loving since moving into an apartment, as my building does not have a fenced yard. Looking to trade walks and lots of butt scratches in exchange for cuddles. I have had a dog all my life (medium sized and very exuberant even now in his old age) and so am well-versed in all aspects of daily care. I have also pet-sat for family members long term in the past. Since my schedule is very flexible, I am able to be home almost full time, which is a big advantage for dogs with separation anxiety. I am also comfortable with big dogs on leash, and am not intimidated by their size.
“Lucy took care of my fur baby while I was away. She had great communication throughout and did everything I asked her to do! She’s very sweet and caring! Would definitely hire her again!”

About: 🏡 STAY & PLAY! Picture your pup curled up on the couch after a good walk, tail thumping, fully at ease — because for the length of their stay, they're the only dog in the house and the only thing on my mind. No competing for attention, no chaos, just consistent one-on-one care from someone who's spent 15+ years loving dogs like family. What Sets Me Apart: • 🐕 All Eyes on Your Pup: No dogs of my own means zero competition for attention, toys, or affection — your dog is the star of the stay, not one of the pack. • 🏢 Calm, Cozy Home Base: My apartment is quiet, comfortable and spacious — no stairs to navigate, no other pets to negotiate, just a relaxed space to settle in and feel safe. • 🌳 Walks They'll Look Forward To: Dog Park just minutes away, and it's part of our daily routine — sniff-heavy strolls, brisk exercise, whatever fits. • 🥎 Off-Leash Fun Nearby: Dog Play area in my building, for fetch, zoomies, and making new friends when they're up for it. • 🐾 I Match Their Energy: Up for a long hike or a lazy cuddle day — I take my cues from your dog, not the other way around. • ❤️ 15+ Years as a Dog Owner: From puppy chaos to senior-dog care, I've been through every stage — nothing rattles me. • 📅 Small, Personal Bookings: I keep my schedule light so I'm never rushing between pups — your dog gets real time, not a time-share. Every dog I care for gets treated like they're already family. I believe a little patience, a lot of walks, and genuine attention go a long way toward a pup feeling at home — even somewhere new. I'm working hybrid and work for home for most of the days and I would have lots of time to play have spend quality time with your pets. I have plenty of space in my apartment and also a huge balcony with high fence and also floor to ceiling windows in my living room. Most of the pets love to sit and enjoy the view outside.
“We had a great first meet with Anju, she was calm, patient, and took the time to let Rocco get comfortable at his own pace. Even though Rocco can be a bit feisty and rowdy, she handled him with confidence and kindness. It was clear Anju genuinely cares about dogs and understand that every dog has their own personality. I appreciated her positive attitude and would be happy to have her spend time with Rocco again. Highly recommended!”

“Always a 5-star experience! This was a repeat visit, and I couldn't be happier with how my cats were looked after. I'm so appreciative of the reliable service and the care Lyndsay shows my pets every single time.”

“Feena was such a wonderful sitter, so kind, caring, and attentive! She even took my pup for a walk during the check-in, which was so thoughtful. I’ll absolutely be booking with her again!”

About: I love pets more than people! I would love to hang out with yours!💜 I've had pets my entire life and, as a proud cat mom to two of the best kitties, I know how important it is to ensure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. Whether it's feeding, playtime, or administering medications, I'm the person friends turn to when they need someone trustworthy to look after their pets. I recently took my two cats on an extended road trip, and they did wonderfully—proof of my ability to care for animals in all kinds of situations! I love animals more than people, and I'll treat your pets with the same level of affection and attention as my own. I’m self employed and often work from home. I have lots of time to visit and exercise your pets. I also go for walks/hikes often so I would love to have your pet join me! I have 2 cats that are cool with small, cat friendly dogs. Have a fenced in concrete patio (no grass.) I also live across the street from a park and several walking paths.

I can't wait to meet your dog and provide them with a safe, loving, and stimulating environment. Since I work from home, I have a a very flexible schedule to provide constant care and attention to your furry friend. I am available Monday-Friday and have openings for same day booking if needed. Please contact me at least 5 days in advance for weekend bookings. My home is clean and well taken care of. Everything has been pet proofed to ensure I can properly take care of them. I live in a large townhouse so there is ample space for pets to roam.
About: I have taken care of dogs starting with my puppy about 15 years ago. Kilo was a puppy rottweiler and I rescued him from a potential life of dog fighting. From that day on Kilo was my best friend and companion in everything from work, to school, and home. I learned a lot from my time with Kilo about proper training and pet care, as well as the patience it takes to be a caring sitter. After Kilo I helped my sisters with training and exercising their big dogs (Pitty, and Husky) as well as attending therapy dog training with my partners 2 dogs (Havanese). I am comfortable with administering oral and topical medications, and know about various training and developmental theories for dogs. I cannot wait to meet your and your pets! I am currently working freelance and I have a lot of free time to spend with your wonderful pets. When I do have a gig I am generally only out of the house for 5-6 hours max. I will follow all your routines and guidelines as stated, while also making sure to tire them out so they dont have any anxiety while you're gone.
About: I've owned dogs for over 20 years, I really understand how to care for them. I’m passionate about making sure every dog feels happy, comfortable, and well-looked after. I work from home full-time on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, and from office on Wednesdays and Thursdays, I return by 4:00 pm. This schedule allows me to give your pet lots of attention and care throughout the day. Here's a typical day: Morning walk: 7:00-7:30 am for about 15 minutes around the neighborhood. Midday walk: 12:00 pm for a 40-minute stroll to a nearby dog park or the Quayside area. Afternoon walk: Around 4:00 pm for another 15-minute walk in the neighborhood. I’m also available for overnight pet sitting on weekdays and have flexible hours on weekends, so your pet will always be well cared for. I would care for your dog in our spacious 3-bedroom apartment. My home offers plenty of room for your dog to enjoy their stay, lower unit with no elevators or stairs to worry about. I am just steps away from the beautiful Quayside boardwalk, where I’ll take your dog for daily walks, and with my vehicle, we have endless options for trips to nearby parks. I have small fenced patios with grass areas where your dog will be welcome to relax. When outside, your dog will be on a leash unless we’re in a fenced dog park, ensuring they’re always safe and secure.

“I was so happy with Natalie’s care of my cat. My cat doesn’t warm up to new people easily, and she doesn’t eat when she’s stressed but Natalie was giving her belly rubs and pats by the second day of caring for her and joy of joys got her eating too! I could relax and enjoy my vacation knowing my cat was happy, healthy and eating. Natalie is a true catwhisperer!”

About: I've been a veterinary assistant for over 6 years. I am well adept at administering medication (oral, otic, topical, injections) to both cats and dogs. Feel rest assured that your fur baby will be well taken care of in health and mental wellbeing. As I am a full time vet assistant during the week I would be available before and after work past 6 pm on weekdays. Weekends will vary depending on my personal errands. I provide calm, attentive, and compassionate care while following each pet’s normal routine. I make sure they always have fresh water, appropriate meals, exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection based on their individual needs. I closely monitor for any changes in behaviour, appetite, or health and will keep you updated throughout their booking.
About: My family and I are owners to a three year old big lab/mastiff cross who although is a gentle giant, can also get a bit crazy so if I can handle him I think I can handle anything. I’ve had a dog my whole life and I can’t imagine life without one. I have lots of experience dog sitting with both small and big dogs and there’s nothing I enjoy more than spending my days with them. When I am hanging out with the dogs I want them to feel totally at ease while keeping to their normal habits and routine, whether that be their normal walks, play time or snuggling. While you’re away from your pets they are missing you so I like to give them love and comfort while you’re gone.
“This was my first experience with Ami and she has been excellent. She dropped in to check on my cats while I was away for a day. She is good in giving meds to sick cats as she was able to give Leo his inhaler during her visit, I am very happy with her and looking forward to connecting with her soon :)”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Delta
Joanna provided her services to our animals for 8 days, while we were out of the country. Her love and dedication was evident from when we first saw her interact with our dog and cat. They were evidently well cared for, and bonded with Joanna. Leaving your house open to a stranger, to care for your defenseless loved ones, is a huge leap of faith. Joanna's integrity and love for animals is everything we hoped for. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
