About: I am a young professional who works from home every day. I have been missing the puppy-loving since moving into an apartment, as my building does not have a fenced yard. Looking to trade walks and lots of butt scratches in exchange for cuddles. I have had a dog all my life (medium sized and very exuberant even now in his old age) and so am well-versed in all aspects of daily care. I have also pet-sat for family members long term in the past. Since my schedule is very flexible, I am able to be home almost full time, which is a big advantage for dogs with separation anxiety. I am also comfortable with big dogs on leash, and am not intimidated by their size.

About: I personally have 2 cats and a dog. Keep all of them since they were a puppy. All very friendly and can get along with other cats/dogs. I only work part time so I have plenty of time to stay with the pets. We can play balls, running in parks or just simply in my yard. Very nice environment. Big house with big yard. We have plenty places for dogs. Your dog can play with mine and have a nice time.

About: I’ve taken taken care of all my friends kids/pets over the years but have never had my own. Thats why I’m known as the fun uncle :) Im an early riser and am away at work Monday to Friday for up to 8.5 hours. I can take your pup out for runs & walks early mornings for up to 45min and up to 2 hours in the afternoon/evenings. I’m free most weekends and able to do pick up/drop offs depending on the location. I’d care for your pet as if they were my own. My car is very dog friendly and am able to take them on most errands and adventures. Walks depending on the pet could range from runs to burn off energy to chill walks with plenty of stops to sniff all the smells/roses.

About: I believe that pets are an extension of the family and provide them with the best care possible! I’ve taken care of numerous amounts of pets before including cats/kittens, dogs/puppies, and other animals such as fish, hamsters etc. I’ve had the privilege of taking care of family friends senior dogs who sometimes need a little more attentiveness! I love being around animals and I hope I can provide ample care for your pets needs! I currently work from home allowing me to be very flexible with pet needs! I’d love adding taking care of your pet to my routine! For pets in my home I can only accept day cares for dogs who are comfortable with cats! With this in both my own home and clients home I ensure to make the pet feel comfortable! This looks different depending on your pets personality, some take super easy to new people and some take a little bit of warming up! I love getting to know their personalities and how they act! I strive to follow instructions provided care and any special medications etc.

“Jessica was trustworthy and took good care to feed my cats on time and play with them. However, one of my cats’ litter box wasn’t cleaned in what looked like 2-3 days at least. Despite having discussed that it was to be done daily. Luckily my cat is fine but this was a hygiene and safety issue that could’ve made her sick and stressed. Overall a good experience but this litter issue was not acceptable.”

About: I have taken care of dogs starting with my puppy about 15 years ago. Kilo was a puppy rottweiler and I rescued him from a potential life of dog fighting. From that day on Kilo was my best friend and companion in everything from work, to school, and home. I learned a lot from my time with Kilo about proper training and pet care, as well as the patience it takes to be a caring sitter. After Kilo I helped my sisters with training and exercising their big dogs (Pitty, and Husky) as well as attending therapy dog training with my partners 2 dogs (Havanese). I am comfortable with administering oral and topical medications, and know about various training and developmental theories for dogs. I cannot wait to meet your and your pets! I am currently working freelance and I have a lot of free time to spend with your wonderful pets. When I do have a gig I am generally only out of the house for 5-6 hours max. I will follow all your routines and guidelines as stated, while also making sure to tire them out so they dont have any anxiety while you're gone.

About: I have had a family dog for 4 years and frequently walk him. I trained and taught him how to play fetch as a puppy. He is very energetic and likes to pull on the leash so I’m good with skittish dogs. I have a flexible schedule throughout the week. I’m available mornings and afternoons Monday through Saturday. I can do evenings as well but prefer daylight hours. I have a medium sized labradoodle at home who loves to play. He has lots of energy and can be a handful so I’ve learned how to be patient with him.

About: I've had chickens, ducks, indoor birds, dogs and cats throughout my life, and understand most animals basic needs as well as how to effectively communicate with/for them and I am capable of accommodating for a variety of pets. :] I'm free most of the time so I'm able to do pretty much any job in my area at anytime and for extended periods, as long as I have proper notice. I have my own cat who I help take care of, but he's also cared for by 3 other people I live with and I work other odd jobs that may come up but generally I am available and I keep my calendar up to date. I can currently only take jobs outside my home, but I understand what it means to respect the privacy and safety of the clients home/household, and how to respect an animals boundaries in terms of meeting new people or experiencing a change in environment. I have had multiple rescue animals, some who were very resistant to certain types of interactions due to trauma with previous owners. I know many animals may experience similar anxieties and I will respect the boundaries of the individual pet, and closely follow the personal care instructions provided by the owner. I am less experienced with animals that have special needs or require medication, but I am happy to learn and accommodate for any pet I can!

I work from home full-time on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, and from office on Wednesdays and Thursdays, I return by 4:00 pm. This schedule allows me to give your pet lots of attention and care throughout the day. Here's a typical day: Morning walk: 7:00-7:30 am for about 15 minutes around the neighborhood. Midday walk: 12:00 pm for a 40-minute stroll to a nearby dog park or the Quayside area. Afternoon walk: Around 4:00 pm for another 15-minute walk in the neighborhood. I’m also available for overnight pet sitting on weekdays and have flexible hours on weekends, so your pet will always be well cared for. I would care for your dog in our spacious 3-bedroom apartment. My home offers plenty of room for your dog to enjoy their stay, lower unit with no elevators or stairs to worry about. I am just steps away from the beautiful Quayside boardwalk, where I’ll take your dog for daily walks, and with my vehicle, we have endless options for trips to nearby parks. I have small fenced patios with grass areas where your dog will be welcome to relax. When outside, your dog will be on a leash unless we’re in a fenced dog park, ensuring they’re always safe and secure.

About: Each family is different and have different requirements when it comes to the care of their furry loved ones and I always strive to meet and surpass any expectations when it comes to that care and love. I do not participate in the average 9-5 work shift like the majority of people. I can absolutely care for your furry friends as it’s my favourite way to spend my time. My routine involves my own dog and making sure we’re fed, healthy, and fit; going for walks and hikes on small trails. Other than caring for my four-legged friend, I spend my time enjoying hobbies. I have a lovely front and back yard that my dog loves to run around in and loves to play with her best friend whenever he’s out and about! There are two dogs total living in my house, they are both very friendly and *very* high energy/playful. Both are small-medium sized and are the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. I always like to have a note pad at the ready for any specific care needs and my house is clumsy/dog proofed. I like to put the needs of animals first before my own, how else are they gonna reach the *dog-safe cookies* in the cookie jar?! Anything you need from me will always be top priority for your pet!
