“Leaving the fur babies is always tough but knowing Trish is looking after them puts my mind at ease. She gives them lots of love and attention, and cares for them as her own. Her updates and photos are always appreciated so I can stay in the loop. Despite their hard work making messes of all sorts, Trish left the house clean and tidy for my return.”

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and I really felt that when I had to leave my own dog, Suarez, behind for business travel. I remember how hard that felt, constantly wondering how he was doing, hoping he was actually being cared for, and wishing I had more than just a quick update. That experience is a big part of why I do this the way I do now. I recently stepped away from my corporate career to focus on working with animals and creating a space where dogs can feel comfortable, settled, and genuinely cared for while their owners are away. At home, I have a 12 year old Labrador who is calm, gentle, and incredibly intuitive with other dogs. He naturally helps create a low-pressure environment and is often the first to share his toys and help new dogs settle in. Outside of the home, I volunteer at a farm sanctuary working with rescue animals, many from difficult backgrounds. That experience has strengthened my ability to read behaviour, notice small changes, and adjust care based on what each animal needs. I’m also certified in Canadian Red Cross First Aid for Dogs & Cats and continue to study canine behaviour, communication, and nutrition so I can better understand and care for the dogs that stay with me. Experience & Certifications: • Canadian Red Cross First Aid for Dogs & Cats • Ongoing study in canine behaviour, communication, and nutrition • Volunteer experience at a farm sanctuary working with rescue animals I keep things intentionally low volume, with only a small number of dogs at a time, so each one gets the attention, structure, and environment they need to feel at ease. What matters most to me is that you can actually relax while you’re away, knowing your dog is safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. Caring for dogs is my full-time focus, so the day is built around what they need. With only two dogs here at a time, I’m able to really pay attention to how each dog is settling in and adjust based on their energy, personality, and comfort level. Most days include a mix of time outside and at home, whether that’s walks around the neighborhood or nearby trails. Some dogs love getting out and exploring, while others, especially seniors, do better with shorter, slower walks and more time to rest, so I always follow what works best for them. I’m home most of the day, and the only time I step out is a few times during the week for about an hour to an hour and a half. Before I leave, I always make sure your dog has been walked and settled so they can relax comfortably. Any time on their own is brief, and never for long. What your dog’s time here can look like: Your dog’s day is a mix of time outside, time at home, and proper rest. Depending on their personality and energy, their stay may include: - Walks around the neighborhood or nearby trails - Scent-based walks where they can explore at their own pace - Puzzle toys and simple scent games inside - Time in the kitchen making dog-safe treats together (with your approval) - Quiet rest and downtime around the home Every dog is different, so I adjust the day based on what helps them feel most comfortable and settled. The environment your dog will be in: -Only 2 dogs at a time (no overcrowding) -Dedicated entry space (fully turfed garage) for post-walk clean up, drying off, and settling in comfortably -Full access to the home, designed to feel familiar and relaxed -Dogs are welcome on the couch, ottomans, and bed (just like home) -Space set up for both play and downtime depending on what your dog enjoys -Fully fenced backyard + access to nearby walking paths Updates while you’re away: As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to know your dog is doing well. What you can expect from my end: - Daily updates with photos or short videos - Notes from every visit on how they’re settling in and anything I’m noticing Getting started: I like to keep things simple and low stress for both you and your dog. Step 1: Meet & Greet I always like to start with a meet and greet, typically around 30 minutes or less, so we have a chance to get to know each other and make sure it feels like a great fit for everyone. It also gives me a chance to learn more about your pup’s routine, personality, energy level, behaviours, and anything important I should know ahead of their stay. I have a few go to parks that I find work really well for meet and greets, otherwise we can always coordinate another location that’s comfortable and convenient. Step 2: Pre-Stay Details As we get closer to your booking, I’ll collect a few final details like feeding schedule, veterinary information, emergency contacts, medications, and anything else needed to make sure your dog is cared for properly while they’re here. Suarez and I are excited to welcome your pup into our home! 😊
About: Dogs and cats have always been special to me. Your furry family members are safe in my care. Check-ins, feedings, and medicine applications are all in my repertoire. I'm a BC native, new to the island. I'm a mortgage broker and have plenty of spare time, so pet sitting fits right into my lifestyle. I'll be there for your beloved family members when they need me. Walkings, feedings, medicine applications, pets, snuggles, and other common means of care are certainly available. I can also teach common tricks, if you have any requests.
About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have 4 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. Raising my own reactive quarantine pup taught me patience, structure, and positive reinforcement. I helped her become calmer and more comfortable around people, animals, and busy environments through consistent socialization and exposure training. I’m attentive to each dog’s unique personality and committed to providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment while you’re away. I am currently working part-time while focusing on online classes, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive pet care. I prioritize keeping pets comfortable by following their normal routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions provided by owners. I always make sure pets have fresh water, a clean environment, and lots of attention while in my care.
“Finn took great care of my cat Root and was incredibly attentive throughout the stay. He kept very detailed updates and records, which gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was away. Most importantly, Root clearly liked him and was very comfortable around him. I really appreciated all the care and attention he gave her, and I’d absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful pet sitter.”

“I would highly recommend Natalia !! The was our first time leaving our small dog Zoe. Natalia was so caring in her approach with Zoe and keeping us updated with how she was doing. We would definitely book Natalia again when needed!”

About: I am a reliable and caring dog owner and dog lover. Ever since I was a little girl, I wanted a dog. I would constantly look after my parents friends dogs and walk dogs in the neighbourhood to get my dog "fix". No matter the weather I was always excited to walk the dogs and make them happy. I would run with them, play fetch, and make sure the dogs were getting challenged mentally. I have been looking after other peoples dogs for about 10 years and got my own dog about 4 years ago. While looking after your family member, I will give them everything they need. I will make sure they are getting enough exercise and attention. I will not leave them alone for more than a couple of hours as it is important for me to gain their respect. I can't do this if I am out of the house. I want your dog to feel as comfortable with me as they do with you.
About: I have had pets all my life while growing up in Mexico, USA, and Canada. Thankfully, I have secured a fully remote job so I work from home full time. However, my landlord doesn’t allow pets on my basement and with all this extra time at home I would love nothing more than to take care of your baby when not working. Dogs are truly some of the best company you can get in the world and it would be an honor/blessing taking care of yours whenever you are not available. Moreover, being at Port Moody gives me access to all kind of trails that I would love to share with a furry friend on my daily walks. Thank you very much for your time, kindness, and consideration! 🙏🏻 I am available on weekdays after 6:00 pm and weekends during the whole day. If needed I can even stay at your house taking care of your baby. All I ask is for you to provide me with all the necessary information for me to take the best possible care for your little one.
“Every step of Jenny taking care of our sweet elderly cat was seamless and super professional. Jenny did an amazing job taking care of her, getting her reports every day gave me such peace of mind. Jenny went well above and beyond and we would absolutely recommend her and will be booking with her again for sure!”

“Morgan quickly developed an amazing rappport with Jackson. Jackson is quite slow in feeling comfortable with new people and very stand-offish. He warmed up to Morgan so nicely. He appeared in many videos and pictures which kept me at peace being away from my boy. Morgan followed all the household directions; mail, watering plants, recycling, etc. Morgan was communicative and available throughout the booking. I recommend Morgan to other "pet parents".”

About: I had taken care of a dog (a schnauzer) when I was young. I am excited to be able to surrounded by your pet. I had also many experiences taking care of my friend's cats! I like dogs and cats and would be happy to look for any size! Recently, I did cat sitting for over 3 weeks for my friend's vacation. Sadly, I am currently working full-time! I am mostly free after 5 pm during the weekdays! I am free on weekends. please feel free to send me a message so we can discuss the schedule! I am not able to pet boarding since many places are not peet friendly. However, I will make sure that your pet feels safe and comfortable. I will send multiple photos by hourly to make sure you feel safe while you are away
“Many thanks to Vivian for agreeing to do a drop-in on a short notice. She kept me updated with messages and photos as usual. Vivian also put my computer cables away from the kitties-much appreciated! I’m very happy with the service and attention to detail. I’ll continue to use Vivian’s petsitting service in the future.”

About: Hi there! I'm a lifelong animal enthusiast who finds joy in the company of all creatures, big and small. Over the years, I've shared my home with dogs and have rescued a few cats, cherishing each unique personality. While I may not have formal pet care certifications, I've been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family, providing walks, playtime, and basic training. I believe every pet deserves love, attention, and a bit of fun. Whether it's a leisurely walk around the neighborhood or a playful game in the yard, I'm here to ensure your pet feels happy and cared for in your absence. Right now I have some free time in my week, and I’d love to spend it helping care for your pets. I’m available almost anytime upon request—perfect for walks, check-ins, or just keeping your furry friend company while you're away. For safety and comfort, I only offer pet sitting in your home. I believe pets feel most secure in their own familiar space, and I’m here to help them stick to their routine while you’re away. I also used to clean houses, so I’m very mindful of keeping your space tidy and respected. I’ve been told I have a calming, welcoming vibe—animals tend to trust me quickly, and I always treat both your home and your pet with care and kindness.
“Rachael dropped in to let our dogs out and feed them. We booked her extremely last minute but she was fantastic. Easy to communicate too, dependable, did everything I asked her to do plus went above and beyond. Would definitely use her again”

About: I am a cat mom who loves all animals. I am unable to own a dog as my two cats would disown me :( I thought this app would help get my doggy fix! I am available weekends for dog walking and at home visits. I grew up with dogs and cats and have experience with feedings, walking, cuddling and loving! I have a Honda CRV with lots of space, and not picky about a little dirt! I would love to take your dog on walks on their favorite trails/parks! Pets are like family. No two ways about it!! They give us their undivided attention, loyalty and love. So why, shouldn’t we do the same? Thanks for viewing my profile and hope to hear from you! - Chantelle Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I work a flexible job, so I have the time and availability to provide consistent and reliable drop-in visits throughout the day. I’m not balancing a fixed 9–5 schedule, which allows me to be responsive to pet needs and scheduling requests. I don’t have children, which also gives me additional flexibility and freedom in my routine. Since I already care for my own two indoor cats daily, pet care is a natural part of my lifestyle! In my own home, I care for my two indoor cats with consistent feeding schedules, clean litter boxes, daily play, and enrichment to keep them stimulated and happy. I understand the importance of a stable routine and a low-stress environment, especially for cats who can be sensitive to change. In a client’s home, I follow their instructions closely and prioritize keeping pets in their familiar environment and routine. This includes feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning or potty breaks, medication if needed, and playtime or companionship based on the pet’s personality. I also pay attention to small details like appetite, behaviour, and energy levels to ensure pets are comfortable and doing well while their owners are away. My goal is always to provide care that feels familiar, gentle, and stress-free for each pet.

As a parent and caregiver, I'm used to being responsible, attentive, and adaptable. I'm also Pet First Aid certified and committed to providing a safe, positive experience for every dog in my care. I believe pets are family, and I treat them with the same kindness, respect, and attention I would want for my own Dog walking is the perfect combination of exercise, companionship, and helping pet owners feel confident their pets are receiving quality care. I was recently diagnosed with autism and ADHD at 28 years old and I find most of my comfort with my families dog (Dotty) who I walk everyday. Throughout the day, we spend time outside exploring local trails, parks, or neighborhood walks, depending on the weather and her energy level. I make sure she always has fresh water, plenty of attention, and opportunities for play When caring for pets, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible, I understand like people dogs also have different personalities that all have different needs. For example, If a pet is shy or nervous, I'll give them space and let them approach me at their own pace. If they're energetic, I'll make sure they get plenty of physical and mental stimulation to keep them happy and engaged.
About: I know how to teach a couple tricks and I understand how different breads act different and maybe react in different ways because of it I work full time and my schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm, as of right now I don’t have any more sports going on so my evenings are pretty open besides some errands I don’t do in home sitting at my place right now but if I am at your place I want to make sure your pets doesn’t feel like I’m invading their space but making sure they still meet their routine and needs as normal

Randona very quickly got to know my pup and all of her weird quirks very quickly. My dog absolutely loves her and looks forward to their walks every day. Randona is communicative, keeping us up to date with any changes and has been very reliable. I dont hesitate in recommending her.

Brad did an excellent job! Besides being amazing with Kami, he's super responsible, punctual, detail-oriented, and a really good person. He truly exceeded our expectations by far. He's definitely someone I'll contact whenever I need him. Brad, thank you so much for everything; you're a wonderful person! 😊😊

Amanda took the time to meet and get to know Nina ahead of coming over to care for her while we were away, making sure our pup felt safe and comfortable with her. Nina loved her immediately. We received pictures and updates every day and never for a second doubted the love and attention our little girl was getting. We highly recommend Amanda and look forward to hearing about Nina’s next visit with her! Jamie and Mark
