About: I’ve always had a big heart for pets. 7 years ago, the opportunity came up for me to rescue a senior dog with a lot of health issues. During my time caring for my senior dog, I’ve had to administer medication, provide at home bath to help him with anxiety, and bond with him through gentle play and massage so he can live comfortably and happily. This year, I was able to welcome a new puppy into my family. I’ve trained him from the ground up and he is now such a gentle and loving puppy who is great around all. While taking care of my own pets, I’ve dog sat for neighbours, friends, and even friends of friends because I often get recommended! I’m a teacher! A perk of being a teacher is that I get a lot of time off. My weekends are free along with all stat holidays. And not to mention spring break and summer!! So, I have a lot of long weekends and off days which allow me to take care of your lovely pet friends. If you have time off and would like to go take a break away from home, I’m here to help! I have one and a half acre of fenced property for your pet to run around in! Not only that, but also a cute and friendly golden retriever friend to keep your pup company. My golden retriever is crated. However, I respect whatever routine you’ve set with your pet! I am happy to crate or not! Just let me know! The pets are also allowed on the furniture if that’s what you’d like. My goal is to have your pet babies feel as comfortable as possible!

About: I have strong experience caring for dogs through both my personal life and volunteer work. Having grown up with dogs, I am very comfortable with daily routines like feeding, walking, and playtime, and I understand how to adjust to different personalities and energy levels. I’m available for mornings, midday, and evenings, and getting outside to walk and spend time with pets fits really well into my routine and is something I genuinely enjoy. When I provide pet care in my client’s home to keep pets comfortable in their own familiar environment and routine. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walking routines, and any specific care needs, to ensure consistency and minimize stress for your pet. I make sure pets always have fresh water, plenty of attention, and exercise based on their energy level. I’m attentive to their behaviour and well-being, and I prioritize keeping them safe, calm, and happy while you’re away. I also treat every home with respect—keeping it clean, secure, and exactly as you left it. My goal is to make both pets and owners feel comfortable and confident, knowing everything is being well taken care of.

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and I really felt that when I had to leave my own dog, Suarez, behind for business travel. I remember how hard that felt, constantly wondering how he was doing, hoping he was actually being cared for, and wishing I had more than just a quick update. That experience is a big part of why I do this the way I do now. I recently stepped away from my corporate career to focus on working with animals and creating a space where dogs can feel comfortable, settled, and genuinely cared for while their owners are away. At home, I have a 12 year old Labrador who is calm, gentle, and incredibly intuitive with other dogs. He naturally helps create a low-pressure environment and is often the first to share his toys and help new dogs settle in. Outside of the home, I volunteer at a farm sanctuary working with rescue animals, many from difficult backgrounds. That experience has strengthened my ability to read behaviour, notice small changes, and adjust care based on what each animal needs. I’m also certified in Canadian Red Cross First Aid for Dogs & Cats and continue to study canine behaviour, communication, and nutrition so I can better understand and care for the dogs that stay with me. What matters most to me is that you can actually relax while you’re away, knowing your dog is safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. Caring for dogs is my full-time focus, so the day is built around what they need. With only two dogs here at a time, I’m able to really pay attention to how each dog is settling in and adjust based on their energy, personality, and comfort level. Most days include a mix of time outside and at home, whether that’s walks around the neighborhood or nearby trails. Some dogs love getting out and exploring, while others, especially seniors, do better with shorter, slower walks and more time to rest, so I always follow what works best for them. I’m home most of the day, and the only time I step out is a few times during the week for about an hour to an hour and a half. Before I leave, I always make sure your dog has been walked and settled so they can relax comfortably. Any time on their own is brief, and never for long. What your dog’s time here can look like: Your dog’s day is a mix of time outside, time at home, and proper rest. Depending on their personality and energy, their stay may include: - Walks around the neighborhood or nearby trails - Scent-based walks where they can explore at their own pace - Puzzle toys and simple scent games inside - Time in the kitchen making dog-safe treats together (with your approval) - Quiet rest and downtime around the home Every dog is different, so I adjust the day based on what helps them feel most comfortable and settled. The environment your dog will be in: -Only 2 dogs at a time (no overcrowding) -Dedicated entry space (fully turfed garage) for post-walk clean up, drying off, and settling in comfortably -Full access to the home, designed to feel familiar and relaxed -Dogs are welcome on the couch, ottomans, and bed (just like home) -Space set up for both play and downtime depending on what your dog enjoys -Fully fenced backyard + access to nearby walking paths Updates while you’re away: As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to know your dog is doing well. What you can expect from my end: - Daily updates with photos or short videos - Notes from every visit on how they’re settling in and anything I’m noticing Getting started: I like to keep things simple and low stress for both you and your dog. Step 1: Meet & Greet I always like to start with a meet and greet, typically around 30 minutes or less, so we have a chance to get to know each other and make sure it feels like a great fit for everyone. It also gives me a chance to learn more about your pup’s routine, personality, energy level, behaviours, and anything important I should know ahead of their stay. I have a few go to parks that I find work really well for meet and greets, otherwise we can always coordinate another location that’s comfortable and convenient. Step 2: Pre-Stay Details As we get closer to your booking, I’ll collect a few final details like feeding schedule, veterinary information, emergency contacts, medications, and anything else needed to make sure your dog is cared for properly while they’re here. I have two golden retrievers, Oscar (10) and a playful 2 year old named Jasper, so I’m very comfortable with both energetic puppies and senior dogs. I’ve also dog sat up to three Chihuahuas at a time and a high energy Labrador, so I can handle pets of all sizes and energy levels with patience and care. Since childhood, I’ve rescued and fostered animals, including three tiny ginger kittens I nursed back to health. About: I have trained dogs and horses since I was a teenager and bred Basset Hounds for over 10 yrs. I love, and have worked with most breeds of dog, and am comfortable with giving shots, meds, and walking/working with hard-to-control pets. I love to snuggle and I personally walk about 10km/day. I have an 11-year-old female Basset named Barney that loves all dogs and cats and has helped me with training many times over the years..... including calming feral cats that I fostered. I love all new experiences, and can't wait to meet your pet. I travel a lot, but if you give me enough notice for a long stay I can usually make it work. I do have an older female Basset hound who is very friendly that would need to come with me. I prefer longer stays (weekly or monthly) while you're away. In your home, I am happy to work with whatever rules you have. I don't mind going for walks or to the park if your dog is good in the car and with other pets. I need to bring Barney with me, she cant be left alone for long periods of time.

I have been a dog owner all my life and have experience in taking care of senior dogs. I recently lost my beloved dogs aged 16 and 13 years old. I miss them very much. I now have one dog and his name is Sogeum. When the weather permits, I love to take Sogeum to the dog park(off leash) I am retired and most content staying at home. I am very flexible and can accommodate to your schedule and needs. You can drop off your pet anytime or I can pick up and drop them off also. I live on the ground level of my condo(900 sqft), It has a spacious patio with fenced in which they can enjoy fresh air anytime. I maintain a clean and comfortable space for them to rest and sleep.

About: I’ve had experience in the past rescuing a dog and taking care of her puppies as she was pregnant! This was years ago and I now have a kitten that I rescued in 2022 who is the love of my life! I love all animals and would love to spend some of my spare time to help take care of other peoples furry family members! I am available to walk and or do drop in visits to check on your pets most mornings before 8 am and evenings past 6pm, as well as my days off (which vary each week). On drop in visits I would ensure your pet is fed at their appropriate time, walked or let out in a fenced area for bathroom breaks and taking some time to play with them and their favourite toys! Every-time I come home, I dedicate as much time as possible to playing with my kitten and giving her lots of love and attention as we are their whole world!

I ran a well reviewed home based doggy daycare in Langford for a year as well. Currently I'm only offering walking or check-in services. The Boys and I are out walking/running 2 hours a day, and get fed twice daily. If your dog has a special routine they prefer we can follow that. At your home: I offer check-in and doggy dates at your home. Walking: I only offer on leash walking currently, unless you live near a dog park. Visit Details: For every client I offer timestamped notes or updates every few hours during your pet’s stay, as well as regular photo updates sent directly to your phone if requested. About: I had taken care of a dog (a schnauzer) when I was young. I am excited to be able to surrounded by your pet. I had also many experiences taking care of my friend's cats! I like dogs and cats and would be happy to look for any size! Recently, I did cat sitting for over 3 weeks for my friend's vacation. Sadly, I am currently working full-time!
