About: Hi, I am Heather and I have a big heart when it comes to dogs. They're unconditional love and happiness gives me great joy. I have been a dog owner all my life and have experience in taking care of senior dogs. I recently lost my beloved dogs aged 16 and 13 years old. I miss them very much. I now have one dog and his name is Sogeum. When the weather permits, I love to take Sogeum to the dog park(off leash) I am retired and most content staying at home. I am very flexible and can accommodate to your schedule and needs. You can drop off your pet anytime or I can pick up and drop them off also. I live on the ground level of my condo(900 sqft), It has a spacious patio with fenced in which they can enjoy fresh air anytime. I maintain a clean and comfortable space for them to rest and sleep.
“Morgan quickly developed an amazing rappport with Jackson. Jackson is quite slow in feeling comfortable with new people and very stand-offish. He warmed up to Morgan so nicely. He appeared in many videos and pictures which kept me at peace being away from my boy. Morgan followed all the household directions; mail, watering plants, recycling, etc. Morgan was communicative and available throughout the booking. I recommend Morgan to other "pet parents".”

“I recently booked Darlee to care for my newly diagnosed diabetic cat, and we couldn't be happier with her service. She showed genuine care and took the time to understand my cat's specific needs, including monitoring her insulin levels and diet. Her patience and experience with pets, especially those with medical conditions, were evident. Darlee provided regular updates, ensuring I was informed about my cat's well-being. Both me and my husband highly recommend her to anyone in need of a compassionate and knowledgeable pet sitter. Thank you, Darlee for your outstanding care!”

About: I have trained dogs and horses since I was a teenager and bred Basset Hounds for over 10 yrs. I love, and have worked with most breeds of dog, and am comfortable with giving shots, meds, and walking/working with hard-to-control pets. I love to snuggle and I personally walk about 5km/day. I have an 12-year-old female Basset named Barney that loves all dogs and cats and has helped me with training many times over the years..... including calming feral cats that I fostered. I love all new experiences, and can't wait to meet your pet. I travel a lot, but if you give me enough notice for a long stay I can usually make it work. I do have an older female Basset hound who is very friendly that would need to come with me. I prefer longer stays (weekly or monthly) while you're away. In your home, I am happy to work with whatever rules you have. I don't mind going for walks or to the park if your dog is good in the car and with other pets. I need to bring Barney with me, she cant be left alone for long periods of time.
About: Over the course of six rewarding months, I've had the privilege of serving as a trusted pet sitter for a dear friend's cherished canine companion. My daily routine has revolved around providing exceptional care, ensuring the dog's well-being and happiness. This includes two daily outings filled with adventure and exercise, fostering a healthy and active lifestyle. Beyond the walks, I've cultivated an environment of love, play, and unwavering companionship. Witnessing the sheer joy and fulfillment that dogs bring into our lives has been a truly heartwarming experience. As I embark on this journey as a dog walker and sitter, my commitment to delivering the same level of dedicated care to other canine companions is unwavering. As a dedicated student, I have structured my pet care responsibilities into my daily and weekly routine to ensure a balanced and nurturing environment for my furry friend. Each morning and evening, I allocate specific time slots for walks, playtime, and feeding, allowing me to meet my academic commitments while still providing attentive care. On weekends, I have more flexibility to engage in longer activities and outings, reinforcing the bond with my pet. My commitment to pet care aligns seamlessly with my student life, as it brings structure, joy, and companionship to my daily routine, enriching both my academic pursuits and personal life. Certainly, the way I care for pets will vary depending on whether I'm providing services in my own home or the client's home. In my home: - I create a safe and pet-friendly environment. - Establish a consistent daily routine for feeding, exercise, and playtime. - Prioritize regular walks and outdoor activities. - Provide affection and one-on-one attention. - Administer any required medications or follow specific health routines. - Maintain open communication with pet owners and provide updates on their pets' well-being. In the client's home: - Conduct a meet and greet to understand the pets' routines and preferences. - Strictly follow the owner's instructions for feeding, medication, and care. - Maintain a consistent routine to minimize stress for the pets. - Provide regular updates and photos to the pet owners. - Ensure the security and safety of the client's home. - Be prepared for emergencies, with a plan for veterinary care if needed. This way, I tailor my pet care services to the specific needs and preferences of the pets and their owners, whether in my own home or the client's home.

About: Your pets will get the same care, affection, and attention I give my own. I’ve cared for animals my entire life and truly see them as family. I have two golden retrievers, Oscar (10) and a playful 2 year old named Jasper, so I’m very comfortable with both energetic puppies and senior dogs. I’ve also dog sat up to three Chihuahuas at a time and a high energy Labrador, so I can handle pets of all sizes and energy levels with patience and care. Since childhood, I’ve rescued and fostered animals, including three tiny ginger kittens I nursed back to health. That hands on experience taught me how to read an animal’s needs, whether it’s playtime, comfort, or space. I always go above and beyond because I genuinely love what I do. I provide consistent, loving care for pets of all ages and sizes. Daily walks, playtime, and attention are always part of their routine with me. I absolutely love spending time with dogs! On walks, I make sure they get exercise, fresh air, and a fun, safe outing. While house sitting, I follow their usual routine, feeding, walks, and lots of attention, so they feel happy and secure at home. Every dog is unique, and I enjoy getting to know their personality, giving them love, play, and reassurance while their owners are away. Being with pets isn’t just work for me; it’s something I genuinely enjoy every day.

It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
