About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over 10 years, including regularly looking after my brother’s pets and raising my own Labrador since he was a puppy. I’m experienced with daily walks, feeding routines, bathing, and keeping pets comfortable with regular potty breaks and attention. I also completed a Dog Walker Certificate through Good Dog Academy. I treat every pet like family and focus on safe, reliable, and loving care while you’re away. Since I’m retired, I have a very flexible schedule and can easily adapt my day around a pet’s routine. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening walks, feeding times, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. I prioritize consistency, safety, and giving each pet calm, attentive care that fits their normal habits and energy level. I provide attentive, personalized care based on each pet’s normal routine and comfort level. In my home, my dog receive a safe, clean environment with regular walks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of supervision and affection. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely to maintain the pet’s usual schedule, keep their space tidy, and ensure they feel secure while you’re away. My focus is always on safety, consistency, and treating every pet like family.

About: I’ve always had a big heart for pets. 7 years ago, the opportunity came up for me to rescue a senior dog with a lot of health issues. During my time caring for my senior dog, I’ve had to administer medication, provide at home bath to help him with anxiety, and bond with him through gentle play and massage so he can live comfortably and happily. This year, I was able to welcome a new puppy into my family. I’ve trained him from the ground up and he is now such a gentle and loving puppy who is great around all. While taking care of my own pets, I’ve dog sat for neighbours, friends, and even friends of friends because I often get recommended! I’m a teacher! A perk of being a teacher is that I get a lot of time off. My weekends are free along with all stat holidays. And not to mention spring break and summer!! So, I have a lot of long weekends and off days which allow me to take care of your lovely pet friends. If you have time off and would like to go take a break away from home, I’m here to help! I have one and a half acre of fenced property for your pet to run around in! Not only that, but also a cute and friendly golden retriever friend to keep your pup company. My golden retriever is crated. However, I respect whatever routine you’ve set with your pet! I am happy to crate or not! Just let me know! The pets are also allowed on the furniture if that’s what you’d like. My goal is to have your pet babies feel as comfortable as possible!

About: I have had pets all my life while growing up in Mexico, USA, and Canada. Thankfully, I have secured a fully remote job so I work from home full time. However, my landlord doesn’t allow pets on my basement and with all this extra time at home I would love nothing more than to take care of your baby when not working. Dogs are truly some of the best company you can get in the world and it would be an honor/blessing taking care of yours whenever you are not available. Moreover, being at Port Moody gives me access to all kind of trails that I would love to share with a furry friend on my daily walks. About: I have trained dogs and horses since I was a teenager and bred Basset Hounds for over 10 yrs. I love, and have worked with most breeds of dog, and am comfortable with giving shots, meds, and walking/working with hard-to-control pets. I love to snuggle and I personally walk about 5km/day. I have an 12-year-old female Basset named Barney that loves all dogs and cats and has helped me with training many times over the years..... including calming feral cats that I fostered. I love all new experiences, and can't wait to meet your pet. I travel a lot, but if you give me enough notice for a long stay I can usually make it work. I do have an older female Basset hound who is very friendly that would need to come with me. I prefer longer stays (weekly or monthly) while you're away. In your home, I am happy to work with whatever rules you have. I don't mind going for walks or to the park if your dog is good in the car and with other pets. I need to bring Barney with me, she cant be left alone for long periods of time.

About: A lifelong animal lover you can trust ❤️ Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with both dogs and cats, and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. If I’ve ever come across a lost or loose dog, my first instinct has always been to help. I’ve taken dogs home and cared for them until their owners could be found. I currently have a 3.5 year old cat who is my whole world, and six chickens, so I’m very comfortable with the responsibility and daily care that comes with having animals depend on you. I’ve also dog-sat for friends and family many times over the past several years, including having dogs stay in my care. When your pet is with me, I treat them like they’re my own. I understand that leaving your pets with someone else can be stressful, so my goal is to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I’m attentive to their individual personalities, routines, feeding schedules, exercise needs, and quirks. I’d love the opportunity to get to know your pets and give them the same patience, attention, and affection I would want someone to give my own animals. 🐾 Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I work primarily from home, so I have a flexible schedule and am able to dedicate time throughout the day to caring for pets. I’m available during the daytime for walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship, and I can also provide house sitting depending on the dates and needs. I’m happy to build my schedule around a pet’s normal routine rather than expecting them to fit into mine. Because I’m home often, I’m able to give pets plenty of attention and I’m not looking to rush in and out. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, so caring for them is something I look forward to rather than simply another job. I’m happy to care for pets either in my home or in their own home, depending on the service and what makes the pet most comfortable. My home has a fully fenced yard, so dogs staying with me can have safe outdoor time, play, and exercise. I also have a cat of my own, so I’m very mindful of making sure any animals in my home are comfortable and safely separated when needed. Because my cat is not currently comfortable around dogs, I would only accept dogs into my home when I’m confident the arrangement will be safe and stress-free for everyone. For house sitting and drop-in visits, I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I’ll make sure they’re fed according to their schedule, have fresh water, receive appropriate exercise and playtime, and get plenty of attention and companionship. I’ll also take care of litter boxes, medications if needed, and any other normal household or pet-care routines you provide. My priority is always to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.

I’m familiar with local trails and parks, including Campbell Valley and Derby Reach, plus several great dog-friendly parks nearby, depending upon the area. Or, if you prefer, around your neighborhood. My goal is simple: your dog gets a safe, fun walk and real connection. You get peace of mind knowing they’re with someone reliable who genuinely cares. I can also accommodate one small dog for boarding or daycare in my home. I work from home, so they get plenty of attention throughout the day—I previously had a Chihuahua, so I’m very familiar with small dogs and their needs. I’m also comfortable with dogs of all sizes for care in your home. I also have experience with cats of all temperaments, horses, bunnies, birds, goats, and sheep.
