“Our second time having Amanda care for our two cats went perfectly! We loved the thorough update + cat photos detailing her drop-in visit and greatly appreciated Amanda's expertise in administering pet medication as one of our cats has required pills both times we've been out of town. Both of our temperamental fur babies have taken to Amanda so quickly and my partner and I couldn't be happier! 🥳”

“We were very lucky to find Liudmila and Igor when we needed a sitter for our foster dog last minute. They were quick to respond and easy to communicate with. Most importantly, they took great care of our foster dog (who is high needs) and clearly have a lot of experience with and love for dogs. We would be happy to have them care for our dog again!”
“Alexis communicated well and our puppy loved spending time with her. She was easy to schedule with and very flexible. It helps to know that someone who cares is coming for our puppy visits. We would book Alexis again!”

About: What sets me apart is the genuine care, patience, and attention I give every pet. Having grown up with dogs my entire life, I understand that pets are family, and I treat them with the same love and respect I'd want for my own. I also have experience caring for pets with special needs. Two of my family dogs were diabetic, so I'm familiar with maintaining consistent routines, monitoring their well-being, and understanding the importance of following care instructions carefully. I've also cared for a cat with digestive issues, ensuring they received the proper food and routine to keep them comfortable and healthy. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work part-time from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide consistent care, regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. My schedule allows me to adapt to your pet's routine, whether that means early morning walks, midday check-ins, evening cuddles, or overnight care. I'm an early riser as well. I provide fresh food and water, regular walks and playtime, lots of affection, and I'm happy to administer medications or follow specific feeding routines if needed. Having cared for diabetic dogs and a cat with digestive issues, I understand the importance of consistency and paying close attention to a pet's health and behavior.
“I'm so glad I found Jan on this app, she was great to work with from the start. She took good care of my cat while on vacation, photo updates and gave him lots of attention. I would recommend and would also be happy to have her watch Lou again.”

“Jessica was trustworthy and took good care to feed my cats on time and play with them. However, one of my cats’ litter box wasn’t cleaned in what looked like 2-3 days at least. Despite having discussed that it was to be done daily. Luckily my cat is fine but this was a hygiene and safety issue that could’ve made her sick and stressed. Overall a good experience but this litter issue was not acceptable.”

About: Some of my earliest experiences with dogs apart from my own puppers, were as a child and into my teens my dad trained Guard/Security dogs. So the house was always filled with dogs newly being trained. Currently the only dogs in my life are my moms specially trained service dog that can detect MS attacks and my Boy Achilles who will soon be working with me to train other dogs for basic obedience. I also cared for my 19 year old cat named Tigger who now lives with my Grandparents. Tigger while in my care needed regular oral medication along side continual and constant monitoring of day to day activity. My schedule is open 7 days a week from 6:00-22:00 for Drop ins and Walks. Private sessions must be scheduled in advance. Group Hikes are not yet scheduled When in my care, I treat every dog and cat as my own. Similarly I respect your home by ensuring clean up of your dog or cat. No muddy paws on your sofa or wet dogs running through your house I am available for Drop-in visits and Walks from 6am to 10pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. 9am to 5pm Sundays. Outside hours service can be requested with advanced notice. I care for each Dog and Cat as my own and ensure the safety of your pets as much as I ensure their enjoyment and comfortablilty in my home or yours!
“Yammy was very attentive and cared deeply for my cats while I was away. My senior cat has special needs and she went above and beyond to make sure it had the best care. I also had an emergency at my condo and she supported by granting access to the caretaker while I was away. She was very responsive and shared updates with pictures and videos daily. I came back home with a lovely printed picture of my cats and a Xmas card! What a warm and thoughtful touch! I would 100% rebook Yammy again! Highly recommended!”

“Another great Rover experience with Justine, she did a great job taking care of my kitties while I was away. I felt confident that they were safe and happy during her visits. I appreciate her reliability and good communication. I definitely recommend booking her to take care of your pets.”

About: 🐾 15+ years in veterinary medicine, so yes… I speak fluent Dog, Cat, Side Eye, and “I definitely did not eat that.” 😂 I’ve spent years caring for pets of every personality, from tiny tornadoes and professional troublemakers to sweet seniors who have mastered the art of the couch nap. I’m comfortable with routines, medications special care needs nervous pets big personalities, and all the wonderfully weird things that make your pet your pet. My goal is simple: keep them safe, happy, entertained, and feeling right at home. Basically, you bring the fur baby… I’ll bring the experience, patience, belly rubs, adventure, and questionable amount of enthusiasm about poop reports. 🐨🐼🐻🐷🐮🐉🐐 My schedule is flexible, so I have plenty of time for walks, playtime, cuddles, and important squirrel investigations. 🐿️🐾 I work around your pet’s routine and make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and love. 🐾 Safety first, fun second, belly rubs always. My home is a cozy little pet headquarters where pups get plenty of supervision, fresh air, sniffari adventures, playtime, and downtime when they need it. I keep things clean, calm, and secure, and I follow each pet’s routine and personality because every dog comes with their own tiny instruction manual. 🎠🏗️
About: My current dog is an anxious senior rescue-dog with a growing list of medical conditions. Loving her has taught me so much, and I hope that I can earn the trust of you and your dog just as I earned hers! My most recent pet care experience revolves around aging & disabled dogs and cats, but I've also cared for plenty of healthy & energetic adults and seniors too. I've had dogs my entire life, and I've lived with family members' & roommates' cats for most of my life too. Specific dog experience includes: -Service dogs, rescue dogs, dogs with anxiety, dogs with significant medical conditions, seniors, puppies, healthy adults. -Breeds: Formosan Mountain Dogs, Shepherd-husky mixes, Labs, Scotties, Westies, and mixed breeds. I work as an RMT, mostly on weekday afternoons and evenings. I'm available 9am-12pm on Thursday and Friday, and often all day on Wednesdays. I am sometimes available for weekends as well. My dog and I live in an apartment building. We take a few walks per day and make sure to do enriching activities and play time. When I pet sit at the owner's home (such as on of my friends or family members), I follow their instructions and keep their pet company as if they were my own.
“Jody is FABULOUS! If you have a cat, you want Jody taking care of them. It's such a relief to travel and know my boy is with someone I trust who treats him like the princess he is. Jody always sends great photos and thorough updates. Will be using her for the rest of time”

“Sichen took amazing care of my cat, Waffle! She spent lots of time cuddling and playing with her and sent tons of pictures! I would absolutely book Sichen again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible caretaker for their pet.”

“I really liked Sarah when I met her, my cats are not super social but they warmed up to her very fast. I had her come twice daily and I got a picture each time which was nice. My place was clean when I got home, cats were happy. I would recommend Sarah in a heart beat!”

“We booked Annelise on short notice to take care of our 2 cats. She made the entire process easy and efficient. Her communication was particularly good, which made it easy to get the updates we needed and ease our concerns. We would highly recommend her services.”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 10, when my father took home a puppy rottweiler. I live with my family who love pets as well, but we do not have one of our own. We are able to feed and walk dogs. We lived for 8 months with a dog whose mommy went visit her home country. We treat her and love her as our own, just until her mom came back. I am currently a stay-home mother. So, I am always in the neighborhood, which is very convenient to go for a walk at almost any time and take care of your dog. I can not able to care for pets at home, but I am willing to pick your dog for a walk or to pay a visit and provide food and company while you are away.
About: Hello! My name is Daria, and I love animals! I grew up happily taking care of a golden retriever named Nika, up until the time when I had to move to Canada. Since then, I have felt a lack of animal energy in my life, and I would love to have a privilege of walking and taking care of your furry best friend. I deem myself attentive, responsible and flexible, and I will make sure to get to know your pet as best I can to be able to fulfill all their needs and provide them with a loving and secure environment during our walks or stays. I’m absolutely sure that pets make our lives 400% better, and I would like to offer help with caring for your pet, thus making your routine a little easier. Looking forward to meeting you and your pet :) I’m currently teaching yoga part-time, so I have plenty of give in my schedule to take care of your pet - be it a simple walk or a longer-term stay. I have an outdoor patio and a large park with a dog area right behind the condo. If I’m staying at your place, I will make sure to follow your instructions and have the utmost respect for your home’s privacy.

About: I grew up with a variety of animals including cats, horses and dogs. I have two dogs of my own - Cinnamon & Alfie. We love to cuddle, go for walks and adventures throughout the city. I regularly go for hikes & long walks and would love to have your dog join me. I have worked with both human and dog reactive dogs including my own dog, Cinnamon so I'm well versed in how to ensure they're safe and comfortable on walks. I have worked with a few dogs through training courses using positive reinforcement and would be happy to work with you and your best friend to continue to build their training while you're away. I'm comfortable administering medication as needed and feeding both raw and kibble foods to ensure your pet continues with their routine while you're away. I love to send regular updates & pictures to assure that you know everything that your pet is getting up to! I understand how important your pet is to you and want to make sure that both you and your dog get the best out of your time away. I'm currently taking a step back from my career in marketing and have an open schedule to take care of your pets outside of ensuring my dogs are still able to be taken care of which is why I offer drop in visits or walks but no longer offer house sitting services. I like to have a comprehensive understanding of your dogs regular routine, any allergies and what you're currently working on together so that I can continue with that training and care while you're away.

Sheila took wonderful care of my cat while I was away. She was reliable, caring, and kept me updated throughout the booking. She was also incredibly flexible when my trip was unexpectedly extended, which gave me so much peace of mind. I’d happily book her again—highly recommend!

Jan is an amazing sitter who is caring, considerate and communicative! She was consistent with the scheduling and sent us daily updates with lovely pictures and videos. It makes us feel assured that our cat is well taken care of. Thank you for going above and beyond and we’d love to have you again (Sophie too)!

We were really grateful Jouvanni took our request at such short notice, and he did an excellent job taking care of our two cats for a week. I had left an essay's worth of instructions and where is what and he took it with grace and seemed to have no (or very little) issue finding things. Our boys were a little shy during the meet and greet but seemed to warm up to him quickly and enact their usual shenanigans during the week! Our building also has some rules around bikes, parking and guest etiquette and there were no issues on that end either! We will definitely keep Jouvanni in mind the next time we are away.

This was our first time leaving our cat alone for a vacation with a pet sitter so we were initially anxious, but we had a great experience with Erin! She was communicative, clear, and followed all our instructions very well. She did a wonderful job taking care of our cat, who seems to really like her. She was also very clean and respectful of our home, leaving everything tidy and did not leave any mess behind. Knowing that our cat was well cared for made being away much easier. We also really appreciated the daily photos and updates. :) Thank you so much!

We were so glad we chose Stella to care for our cat while we were on vacation. She truly went above and beyond, sending us regular pictures and videos and giving us peace of mind that he was well cared for. It was clear from the updates that our cat was happy and comfortable in her care. Stella is very trustworthy and responsive, and we wouldn’t hesitate to use her services again. Highly recommended!

Another great Rover experience with Justine, she did a great job taking care of my kitties while I was away. I felt confident that they were safe and happy during her visits. I appreciate her reliability and good communication. I definitely recommend booking her to take care of your pets.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
