Before caring for your cat, I want to make sure I understand their unique needs and personality. It’s important for me to know things like: - Daily routine (feeding times, litter box setup, play preferences) - Medical needs (allergies, medications, special diets, mobility concerns) - Behavioral quirks (shyness, territorial habits, door-dashing, scratching, hiding spots) - Social preferences (whether they enjoy cuddles, playtime, or prefer quiet companionship; how they react to new people or other pets) - House rules (e.g., no counters, no outdoor access, furniture rules, treat preferences) The more I know ahead of time, the better I can provide safe, consistent, and loving care—just like you would!
A typical day
With cats, I believe the best “fun” is tailored to their personality. For playful kitties, that means wand toys, chasing ribbons, or tossing crinkle balls for them to pounce on. For quieter or shy cats, I’ll spend time engaging at their pace — gentle petting, brushing, or simply sitting nearby so they feel safe and comfortable. I’m experienced with everything from cuddly lap cats to the more independent (or spicy!) types, and I always make sure they get the right mix of enrichment, affection, and calm companionship.
