About: I grew up with 20 dogs and 3 cats. I currently have a cat and special needs dog. I love animals. I am more of a pet person than people person. I’m a full-time student looking for work. I am available everyday because i only have classes on Wednesdays. I am also flexible and on-call. I can give baths. I can go to the clients’ house because I do not have the space. My cat also does not like new people. I love meeting new pets!

About: My current dog is an anxious senior rescue-dog with a growing list of medical conditions. Loving her has taught me so much, and I hope that I can earn the trust of you and your dog just as I earned hers! My most recent pet care experience revolves around aging & disabled dogs and cats, but I've also cared for plenty of healthy & energetic adults and seniors too. I've had dogs my entire life, and I've lived with family members' & roommates' cats for most of my life too. Specific dog experience includes: -Service dogs, rescue dogs, dogs with anxiety, dogs with significant medical conditions, seniors, puppies, healthy adults. -Breeds: Formosan Mountain Dogs, Shepherd-husky mixes, Labs, Scotties, Westies, and mixed breeds. I work as an RMT, mostly on weekday afternoons and evenings. I'm available 9am-12pm on Thursday and Friday, and often all day on Wednesdays. I am sometimes available for weekends as well. My dog and I live in an apartment building. We take a few walks per day and make sure to do enriching activities and play time. When I pet sit at the owner's home (such as on of my friends or family members), I follow their instructions and keep their pet company as if they were my own.

About: I’ve been a dog and cat sitter for several years, caring for pets consistently through both short visits and longer stays. I’m comfortable adapting to different personalities, routines, and needs, and I’m especially patient and attentive with senior pets or animals who need a little extra care and reassurance (such as puffers and special medication). I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while their owners are away. My schedule can fluctuate depending on the stage of a production, but I also work from home quite often, which gives me a fair amount of flexibility during the day. I always try to keep pets comfortable by following their normal routines as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention. In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and make sure their pet feels safe and cared for in their familiar environment. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy and in good hands.

“Jessica was trustworthy and took good care to feed my cats on time and play with them. However, one of my cats’ litter box wasn’t cleaned in what looked like 2-3 days at least. Despite having discussed that it was to be done daily. Luckily my cat is fine but this was a hygiene and safety issue that could’ve made her sick and stressed. Overall a good experience but this litter issue was not acceptable.”

About: Some of my earliest experiences with dogs apart from my own puppers, were as a child and into my teens my dad trained Guard/Security dogs. So the house was always filled with dogs newly being trained. Currently the only dogs in my life are my moms specially trained service dog that can detect MS attacks and my Boy Achilles who will soon be working with me to train other dogs for basic obedience. I also cared for my 19 year old cat named Tigger who now lives with my Grandparents. Tigger while in my care needed regular oral medication along side continual and constant monitoring of day to day activity. My schedule is open 7 days a week from 6:00-22:00 for Drop ins and Walks. Private sessions must be scheduled in advance. Group Hikes are not yet scheduled When in my care, I treat every dog and cat as my own. Similarly I respect your home by ensuring clean up of your dog or cat. No muddy paws on your sofa or wet dogs running through your house I am available for Drop-in visits and Walks from 6am to 10pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. 9am to 5pm Sundays. Outside hours service can be requested with advanced notice. I care for each Dog and Cat as my own and ensure the safety of your pets as much as I ensure their enjoyment and comfortablilty in my home or yours!

I have plenty of experience handling dogs of any age, including those with specialized care requirements. Previously, I worked for 18 years in healthcare, so in the absolutely rare event of an emergency, you can count on me to remain calm and act quickly. At this time I am available all days of the week and can devote as much care and attention to your dog as needed. I work online occasionally, but no longer than 4 hours a day, and no more than 2 days per week. While in my care, the majority of my time will be structured around caring for your dog(s). My goal is to continue the routines that exist in your dogs lives to ensure that they are comfortable and secure, as if you never left. I do not hit or strike; learning opportunities are handled through positive reinforcement (if you allow), and a leash will always be used when leaving the home.
