About: Hi! 😊 I really get anxious, reactive, and super-sensitive dogs because I live it every day! My own dog is a big 'Covid puppy' who struggles with reactivity and submissive peeing. Helping her and everyone around us inspired me to dive into dog training. I’m a patient advocate for your pup. I know how to handle big feelings and keep things calm and stress-free so they feel completely safe with me. I’m on maternity leave and ready to help you with your puppy. My schedule is flexible so I am ready to provide an stress-free service for you. I’ve been on the other side many times (because of work trips or surgery recovery) and I know the importance of finding someone we trust to care for our fur babies. Whether I’m dropping in or heading out for a walk, my focus is on keeping your dog's exact routine intact so they feel safe and happy. I customize every visit to match their energy levels, handle greetings gently to prevent submissive accidents, and always send you fun photo updates along the way!
“Susan took excellent care of my senior cat! She made sure he took his medication on time, communicated any concerns, and always left everything clean and tidy.”
“Booked Britney last minute as my flight got canceled! She was super fast at responding and was able to go check into see my kitties! Super flexible, Great at texting and sent the cutest photos of my fur babies!”

“Lily looked after my 2 cats for an extended period. She was dedicated and reliable, and quickly made friends with my kitties. She was accomodating with the schedule after I screwed up on our timing (sorry, Lily!). The cats seemed quite happy when I returned, and were obviously well cared for. I would definitely book her for the little monsters again, if she’s up for it.”

“We went away for 3 weeks to visit family and I’m very glad we found Antinea to take care of our two cats! She followed all instructions perfectly, she went above and beyond by sending us daily updates so we wouldn’t worry about them, provided great care for them and also left everything in order at our place for when we got back. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who’s looking for a sweet, caring and trustworthy pet sitter!”

About: I have a lot of experience caring for animals, my own, friends/family, and through Rover; adding to over 15 years. I would consider myself both a dog and cat person. I currently have one cat, although would love more pets if I had the space! I grew up with a dog and two cats in my family, and since then I’ve had experience both owning my own dog as well as looking after a lot of my friend’s and families pets. I raised my own German Shepard from a puppy, working through many different things with him like basic obedience, separation anxiety, agility, and reactivity. I have also fostered dogs with have special needs ie. recovering from surgeries, behavioral issues, etc, and puppies! I am available for casual walks and drop ins. Depending on the day and location, I can come multiple times a day. My schedule is somewhat inconsistent so regular dog walks are difficult to book but please feel free to reach out and see! I live a very active lifestyle, so dog walking fits right in with my normal life. I also love to take dogs hiking and running.
“We couldn’t be happier with the care Mehri provided for our two kitties during our 19-day holiday! From start to finish, Mehri went above and beyond to ensure our furry family members were happy, healthy, and well cared for. Each day, Mehri kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear from the updates that our kitties adored her—relaxed, playful, and completely at ease. She not only took care of their basic needs like feeding and cleaning, but also spent quality time playing and petting with them, ensuring they felt loved in our absence. When we returned, we found two content and healthy kitties! Mehri’s attention to detail, genuine love for animals, and reliable communication made this the best pet-sitting experience we’ve ever had. We wholeheartedly recommend Mehri to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate caregiver for their pets. She truly treats them as if they were her own. Thank you, Mehri, for taking such amazing care of our fur babies!”

Ka Man was great! She took wonderful care of our fur baby, and our plants were thriving under her care. She was super responsive, and we got twice daily updates with photos and videos, and could see how well everything was going. I highly recommend her and will definitely be requesting her services again!

These sitters did an incredible job taking care of my senior cat for more than two weeks. They sent daily updates with photos and brought my shy cat out of his shell, and took excellent care of my home. They went above and beyond and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.

Dai did a great job taking care of our cat! She checked in frequently, followed instructions, and sent LOTS of pictures. I also really appreciated that she squeezed us in at short notice, around other commitments. I felt very confident with our pet in her hands!

This was our first time using a drop-in visitor for our dog. We were a bit nervous about leaving keys with a sitter, but we went ahead with it based on Lyndsey's amazing reviews -- they were not wrong! She was super communicative, great to work with, and Koda seemed to love her visits. We would definitely recommend her, and she'll be our first call for when we need visits in the future.

Angela dropped in to look after my cat, Onyx, and did an amazing job. She fed him, cleaned his litter box, and spent extra time playing with him, which meant a lot. She sent daily pictures and updates on Onyx. She truly went above and beyond. Thank you, Angela.

Eryn was fantastic - extremely communicative, did not feel rushed at all and took the time to make sure Dallas was well taken care of and made it out of hiding! He can be a bit shy with new people, but clearly loved her ☺️ 10/10 will request Eryn’s services again!

Crystal is very experienced with both dogs and cats and it was really apparent in how they showed up for my cat honeysmacks! Crystal went above and beyond to make sure honeysmacks was comfortable throughout my trip, even ensuring to communicate with other cat-sitters about where to find the litter I forgot to keep it out and dropping by on her dog walks to ensure that the portable AC was kept at a certain temperature. Crystal also helped expend honeysmacks' 2-year old bengal energy levels and seeing how relaxed honeysmacks was in the videos sent over really helped me relax on my trip :)

You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in North Vancouver choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
