About: I've been around dogs my entire life, even before I can remember! My love for animals started young and has only grown over the years. I've had several dogs of my own and currently share my life with my wonderful 11-year-old dog, who is a beloved member of our family and the gentlest companion anyone could ask for. Throughout my life, I've cared for family members' and friends' dogs, gaining experience with a variety of breeds, personalities, and needs. I also spent several years volunteering with a dog rescue foster program, providing loving care to foster dogs until they found homes. In fact, two of my foster dogs became permanent family members—my own happy "foster fails"! I love spending time outdoors and exploring the beautiful nature that BC has to offer. Whether it's a walk, hike, playtime, or simply providing companionship, I treat every dog in my care with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own pets. Pet owners can count on me to be reliable, compassionate, and attentive. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member and providing them with a safe, happy, and caring experience. 🐾 I am primarily available on Thursdays and Fridays starting around noon, as well as every other Wednesday. I can also be available on weekends with sufficient notice. I'm committed to providing reliable, attentive care and will do my best to accommodate your pet care needs whenever possible! I do normally bring my own pup, as she is very calm and other dogs often enjoy a pack walk. I provide attentive, personalized care based on each pet's needs and routine. This includes feeding according to the owner's instructions, ensuring fresh water is always available, providing exercise and playtime, administering medications if required, and offering plenty of affection and companionship. I monitor pets for any signs of illness or distress and keep owners updated with messages and photos.

About: I have been obsessed with pets from a young age. We have had cats, dogs, birds and reptiles. My family rottweiler, Trebor, inspired a particular love of everything four legged and since then I have had shih tzus and beagles. I love all pets like they are my own and, through experience and research, have an excellent knowledge of behavioural signs and symptoms in dogs. I understand each pet is a part of the family and will treat them as such. I am currently widely available for pet sitting, walking and drop in visits. I am very flexible and will work with you to best meet your pets needs. I have a secure balcony and plenty of rooms if your dog needs there own space. I have an off leash dog walk 5 minutes away from me. As well as secure garden area for regular toilet breaks. I also have maby comfy spot for the pets to snuggle down.

About: I have over 20 years experience caring for cats and have taken care of cats of all ages, from kittens to senior cats. I’m very comfortable around cats and am regularly trusted to care for my friend’s cats. I often work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I’m available the majority of evenings and weekends and don’t typically go away during holiday weekends. I like to spend time with the cats I visit to make sure they get attention and feel comfortable with me. I’m happy to keep up whatever routine they have so they’re life isn’t too disrupted by their owners not being there.

About: I have been a dog trainer for the past 26 years and I have had pets all my life. I know how important it is to find someone reliable to take care of your pet while you are at work, or away. I have had my fare share of dog walkers cancelling at the last minute so I know the frustration with finding a reliable and responsible person. I am now 50 years old and will be there for your dog or cat, as agreed and as needed. I recently lost my big Rhodesian Ridgeback. We hiked every day for his ten year life. He was a well trained (by me) but spoiled boy who slept in my bed and was allowed on the sofa. I would treat yours based on your own rules but they would be loved and completely cared for. I find myself not wanting another dog of my own just yet but wanting to take care of others while I have the time. No I don’t train monkeys or alpacas :) My schedule is entirely open starting June 15th, 2026. I can do day or evening walks, any day of the week. Boarding would consist of walking your dog everyday, max 2 dogs at a time. I have a very large home in Westwood Plateau. I have a fenced yard that we can hang out in after our walks, which would usually be in the forest where they can be on or off leash once we get to know each other.

About: What sets us apart is that this is truly a family effort grounded in lifelong experience with animals. I’ve owned cats and dogs all my life and currently share our home with a gentle Bernese Mountain Dog who is nearly six, as well as our senior cat who is almost sixteen. That means I’m very comfortable caring for both energetic dogs and older pets who need a slower, more thoughtful approach. My daughter London loves animals and wanted to start this together, so she joins me on walks. It’s something we take seriously, and I’m always present to ensure safety, consistency, and reliability. Clients can expect clear communication, punctuality, and updates with photos after each visit. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your furry family members. Whether your dog needs an active walk, gentle companionship, feeding, or a drop-in check, I aim to provide the same level of care, patience, and attention that I give my own pets. Pet care fits naturally into our weekly routine. I work a hybrid schedule and my wife works from home, which gives us strong flexibility during both weekdays and weekends. This allows me to reliably accommodate morning, midday, and evening visits depending on your pet’s needs. My daughter London will often join me for walks and visits before and after school. She loves animals and enjoys being involved, and I’m always present to ensure safe, consistent care. Because of our flexible schedules, we’re able to offer dependable timing, quick communication, and consistency — whether you need regular weekly walks or occasional drop-in visits. I tailor my care to each pet’s needs and the specific service requested. In your home, I can provide walks, feeding, playtime, companionship, and reinforcement of any routines or basic training you’re working on. I understand how important consistency is, so I aim to keep your pet comfortable by following their normal schedule. I’m also happy to help with transportation if needed, such as bringing your pet to the dog park, a grooming appointment, or a treatment visit, with your permission. While most of my services focus on care in your home, we also have a fully fenced yard if outdoor time is part of the plan. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, engaged, and well cared for whether we’re out for a walk, playing, or simply keeping them company.

About: I've lived with dogs almost my entire life. Most importantly, I rescued a 7-year-old Maltipoo, Badoo, from Korea about 2 years ago. Since then, my experience and knowledge of dogs have grown significantly (thanks to Google, YouTube, and ChatGPT). I also enjoy walks and playing with dogs. Cottonwood Park is only a five-minute walk away, and I know several other dog-walking routes. Last but not least, I am semi-retired, so I am very flexible and spend most of my time on Badoo and small house chores. Now, Badoo and I are so ready to be your best friends via Rover! Being semi-retired gives me lots of flexibility, and I spend most of my time at home with Badoo and small daily chores. We’re excited and fully ready to welcome new best friends through Rover! Another strong point of mine as a Rover Sitter is my house — it's 13,530 square feet, with a huge backyard, but just my lovely wife, Badoo, and I live in it. So, your dog will have plenty of opportunities for potty breaks and playtime. I also enjoy walks with the dog. Cottonwood Park is only a five-minute walk away, and I know several other dog-walking routes.

About: I've had animals for my entire life and was brought up with dogs of many sizes and breeds. It brings me great joy to look after animals of any kind, even the ones considered creepy and crawly. My approach is a thoughtful and caring one that aims to observe a dog/cats boundaries and work with them respectfully. I have looked after dogs and cats of all ages and sizes and know how to build a relationship with animals through care, observation, and consistency. I am currently a biology student whose goal is to pursue animal research and nature conservation. This means I will take an extremely thorough approach to caring for your animals and do any necessary research in order to better look after them. It's my passion in this field that helps me understand and work with animals. I am an extremely enthusiastic sitter and take great delight in getting to know animals and spend time with them. Whether cat, dog, or otherwise, I am looking forward to meeting them and giving them the best care possible. My weekly schedule revolves around college, I have 3 classes a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There are usually long gaps between classes where I can check in on an animal or walk/feed them and I do not need to be at school all day. From Friday-Monday I have no scheduled commitments and can commit fully to looking after a higher maintenance pet. If you invite me into your home, I will be completely respectful of you animals routine and will do what it takes to keep that up for them. Whether it be walking, cuddles, playtime, baths, or anything else, as long as I have the information then I can do it. I prefer to have a document on hand of your pets needs, either digital or physical, so that I can provide the best care possible. With new animals my first objective is always to pay attention to their needs and communication styles so I can give them whatever they require. Establishing trust always comes first for me, with you and your animal. If you have any questions, needs, or concerns about care, please don't hesitate to bring them up with me. Daily updates through text can also be provided if that is something you would like while away.

About: Hello! So lovely to see you here. My name is Anna, and I am an incredibly friendly post-graduate student with excellent pet and people skills. I've decided to join Rover in hopes of connecting with you, my community. Based in Port Moody, BC, I am looking to get to know my neighbours and offer my pet-care services at a reasonable rate. I've had the pleasure of being a cat owner myself for 13 years, as well as pet-sitting for my friends, family, and neighbours over the course of that time as well. Ever since I can remember, I have been extremely passionate about animals, specifically dogs and cats alike, volunteering at the SPCA after school hours, and advocating for international rescue campaigns internationally, fundraising for animal rescue in Ukraine and the Greek Islands. Becoming a pet sitter through Rover is more than just a job opportunity for me. I have been in need of a meaningful way to stay connected to what brings me joy. Connecting with my neighbours, getting more involved in my community, and on top of everything, caring for animals with patience, love, and respect, as if they are my own. I am currently working part-time in Burnaby and offer full-day availability to provide a flexible and convenient schedule for you! On the days I am at work, I am typically available during early mornings or late evenings, with my schedule adjusting slightly week to week. I update my availability every few days to accommodate last-minute requests whenever possible, ensuring I can meet your pet care needs reliably and with minimal stress on you and your furry friend! I kindly request that you and your pet meet me in person prior to booking, to ensure ultimate comfort for all parties involved. I pride myself on being highly communicative and love keeping pet owners updated throughout my time with your loved one. You can expect regular updates and plenty of photos during visits or stays. My beautiful yard offers plenty of supervised space for your pet to explore and play, especially if overnight stays are needed. During these stays, your pet will be welcomed into my studio basement suite— a bright, cozy space with ample supervision and opportunities for both play and relaxation!

About: Hi there, my name is Kat :) I’ve been caring for animals since I was a young teen, not just dogs and cats, but horses and various farm animals as well! Through these diverse experiences I have developed a deep understanding of different breeds and their individual needs as well as passion for rescues! I’m also passionate about the care, attention, love, physical exercise, and mental stimulation that animals need to thrive. And have experience with puppies, senior dogs, large breeds, supporting with medical needs, and dogs with specialized training. I care deeply about the importance of providing consistent and gentle training for animals and am happy to follow your training preferences as requested! I grew up with 2 rescues, a beagle and a husky mix and was heavily involved in their training. I was also involved recently in the training of a puppy to be a therapy dog and have previously been certified as a handler for a service dog. I have been doing pet sitting and dog walking for friends and family for over a decade now and look forward to expanding out to meeting and caring for your furry best friends as well! 😊 I’m currently a part time student and otherwise am doing some low commitment volunteer work so I have lots of free time during my week to play with, walk, and visit your pups! I am very calm and patient with animals as they learn, and am happy to take the time to reinforce the good behaviours. I value consistency in training, care routines and play. I am quick to ask owners questions for any clarifications needed so I know I’m always actively supporting the animals success and individual needs.

We chose Averi because of her high ratings on Rover, and honestly, she totally lived up to the hype. She came by ahead of time to go over everything with us, and even showed up during some pretty bad weather. That really meant a lot—it gave us a chance to walk through all the details and made us feel way more comfortable before leaving for our trip. We were away for three weeks, and Averi was super consistent the whole time. She stuck to the schedule we agreed on and sent us detailed updates every visit—lots of photos (always 10+!) plus a full recap of how our cats were doing, including food, water, and their overall mood. One of our cats is very active and has a bit of an attitude—we have to be pretty careful handling him ourselves. Averi was incredibly patient and attentive with him, which we really appreciated. When we got back, both of our cats were relaxed and doing great. That was a huge relief, especially since they had separation anxiety the last time we left them for our trip. We would 200% recommend Averi as your next pet sitter. She’s absolutely someone you can trust and will make it so much easier to actually relax while you’re away!

FAQs for Drop-In Visits - Anmore

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Pet Sitting in Anmore on Rover is $25.68 per visit (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Pet Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Pet Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 4,614 sitters on Rover for Pet Sitting in Anmore. About 85% of Anmore sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or travelling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer poop breaks during a Anmore stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover based on what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:

  • Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
  • House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
  • Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.

Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Anmore choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
