“Our family was thoroughly impressed with the Rover App and the ease and convenience that we were able to find a dog walker to look after our little Louie while we were away on the Christmas Holidays. What was even better than the App was the Dog Walker Vanessa that we selected. She was fantastic with Louie and communicated daily with us and my Mother to coordinate with her schedule. We could not have asked for a better walker for our dog, she was absolutely wonderful. We sincerely recommend her for anyone considering a dog walker 👍🏽”

“Scott has been walking our family’s dog regularly on a weekly basis (multiple times a week). He’s extremely professional, reliable, responsive, friendly and just great to deal with. Thank you Scott for taking good care of our pitbull!”

“Averi did a great job, from beginning to end. She answered my messages, booked a meet & greet, and scheduled our walks promptly. She always arrived within the agreed upon time frame and walked our dog for a full hour, providing us with lots of photos from the walk. Our dog always came back happy and ready for a nap. Would definitely hire her for walks again.”

“Sunny was absolutely wonderful with our dog, Milo. Milo is reactive, and Sunny took the time to genuinely educate us on what Milo is experiencing in different situations rather than just rushing through the walk. That level of care and thoughtfulness really stood out. By the end of the walk, Milo looked happy and at ease, which says a lot. We’re incredibly appreciative of Sunny’s help and insight, and we’ll definitely be using his services again in the future.”

About: Hi there! I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals—from dogs and cats to donkeys and goats—so caring for pets is second nature to me. These days, I share my home with a chill bearded dragon, but I still love meeting and bonding with new furry friends and I missing having a dog in my life. I’m super active and love trail running, so if you’ve got a high-energy pup, I’m happy to help them burn off some steam! I treat every pet like my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. I’d love to meet you and your pet—let’s connect soon! I work remotely, so if you’re in the area, I am happy to drop by during the day or stay over with your pet for an evening. Whether I’m visiting your home to care for your pets or taking your dog out on the trails, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. At your home, I follow your routines closely, respect your space, and make sure your pet feels secure, loved, and stress-free. When out on walks or runs, I like to learn what commands work well for them, paying close attention to their body language and behaviour. I have experience with a wide variety of animals and can safely administer medications if needed—just let me know your pet’s specific requirements. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in caring hands.
“Julie is absolutely fabulous!! She’s been walking our dog Pepper for a month now, she’s very dependable and great with animals. She’s been able to calm our crazy Aussie Doodle and we will definitely be calling on Julie more for walks and house sitting for our full fury family.”

About: I've had animals for my entire life and was brought up with dogs of many sizes and breeds. It brings me great joy to look after animals of any kind, even the ones considered creepy and crawly. My approach is a thoughtful and caring one that aims to observe a dog/cats boundaries and work with them respectfully. I have looked after dogs and cats of all ages and sizes and know how to build a relationship with animals through care, observation, and consistency. I am currently a biology student whose goal is to pursue animal research and nature conservation. This means I will take an extremely thorough approach to caring for your animals and do any necessary research in order to better look after them. It's my passion in this field that helps me understand and work with animals. I am an extremely enthusiastic sitter and take great delight in getting to know animals and spend time with them. Whether cat, dog, or otherwise, I am looking forward to meeting them and giving them the best care possible. My weekly schedule revolves around college, I have 3 classes a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There are usually long gaps between classes where I can check in on an animal or walk/feed them and I do not need to be at school all day. From Friday-Monday I have no scheduled commitments and can commit fully to looking after a higher maintenance pet. If you invite me into your home, I will be completely respectful of you animals routine and will do what it takes to keep that up for them. Whether it be walking, cuddles, playtime, baths, or anything else, as long as I have the information then I can do it. I prefer to have a document on hand of your pets needs, either digital or physical, so that I can provide the best care possible. With new animals my first objective is always to pay attention to their needs and communication styles so I can give them whatever they require. Establishing trust always comes first for me, with you and your animal. If you have any questions, needs, or concerns about care, please don't hesitate to bring them up with me. Daily updates through text can also be provided if that is something you would like while away.

About: I've lived with dogs almost my entire life. Most importantly, I rescued a 7-year-old Maltipoo, Badoo, from Korea about 2 years ago. Since then, my experience and knowledge of dogs have grown significantly (thanks to Google, YouTube, and ChatGPT). I also enjoy walks and playing with dogs. Cottonwood Park is only a five-minute walk away, and I know several other dog-walking routes. Last but not least, I am semi-retired, so I am very flexible and spend most of my time on Badoo and small house chores. Now, Badoo and I are so ready to be your best friends via Rover! Being semi-retired gives me lots of flexibility, and I spend most of my time at home with Badoo and small daily chores. We’re excited and fully ready to welcome new best friends through Rover! Another strong point of mine as a Rover Sitter is my house — it's 13,530 square feet, with a huge backyard, but just my lovely wife, Badoo, and I live in it. So, your dog will have plenty of opportunities for potty breaks and playtime. I also enjoy walks with the dog. Cottonwood Park is only a five-minute walk away, and I know several other dog-walking routes.
About: I grew up on an acrerage with dogs and cats and a wide variety of other pets. I was pretty well born loving animals of all kinds. I can’t have one of my own at present, but I enjoy looking after them for other people. I am a part-time student with a flexible schedule that leaves me plenty of time to care for your pets. I am generally available during the week and some Saturdays. I am conscious of the importance of pet safety, whether that is ensuring your back gate is closed, keeping your dog from running going out into traffic, or just keeping a tight grip on the leash to ensure an energetic dog doesn’t run off after a squirrel.
About: As an only child, my playmates were our adopted dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, and mice. I don't get scared easily and have an affinity to animals. I worked in hospitality, I've quit Four Seasons Whistler recently for a more active job at Canada Post. Since I'm still on on-call, I have time. Depending on the client's pet--we can be active and trail run or hike and swim in the lake together or just play and chill in their home.
“Saghar was very flexible as I booked a late night walk today.I felt lt at ease as soon as I meet her, I've never had someone take Otis for a walk. He loved his time with her. I will definitely be back in the future”

Anmore dog parents share their Rover experiences
Our experience with Carrie-Ann has been absolutely wonderful! She is an extremely responsible and competent dog walker and we have felt so comfortable entrusting her with the care of our beloved dog, Dahlia. Her communication has been excellent and thorough and you can tell she takes her work very seriously, giving the animals in her care the utmost attention and thoughtfulness. So many small details that just demonstrate what a conscientious and kind person she is! Dahlia is our whole world, so it means everything to us to know that while in Carrie-Ann's care she is safe and cared for completely :). Receiving her detailed Rover cards with great photos has become a highlight of our days when we have a walk booked. We are so appreciative to have this help with making sure our pup gets some much-needed enrichment while we are busy working and are very grateful for all the fun and exercise she is now getting during the week, thanks to Carrie-Ann! 100% recommend her to anyone looking for someone to help care for their pets :)

I recently booked daily walks with Victor for a week while I was away on vacation. Victor was a wonderful dog walker. My dog, Hazel, really enjoyed her time with him and was very excited to see him each day. I would highly recommend Victor and I will definitely rebook with him in the future. Thank you, Victor!

Again booked her service for my dog Nuggie. This time was a very last minute request but Kerry thankfully accepted the request. Nuggie loves Kerry so much and was really excited to walk with her when I handed off. Kerry updated the walk with pictures and videos which I appreciate! I 100% recommend Kerry for other pups walks and adventures ☺️
