About: What sets me apart is that I’ve grown up with dogs and currently have three of my own, so I’m very comfortable with different personalities and energy levels. I have experience walking neighbourhood dogs and can easily build trust with new dogs. I’m also confident reinforcing basic commands and good leash manners, and I always focus on keeping dogs safe, happy, and comfortable while in my care. About: I've been around dogs my entire life, even before I can remember! My love for animals started young and has only grown over the years. I've had several dogs of my own and currently share my life with my wonderful 11-year-old dog, who is a beloved member of our family and the gentlest companion anyone could ask for. Throughout my life, I've cared for family members' and friends' dogs, gaining experience with a variety of breeds, personalities, and needs. I also spent several years volunteering with a dog rescue foster program, providing loving care to foster dogs until they found homes. In fact, two of my foster dogs became permanent family members—my own happy "foster fails"! I love spending time outdoors and exploring the beautiful nature that BC has to offer. Whether it's a walk, hike, playtime, or simply providing companionship, I treat every dog in my care with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own pets. I do normally bring my own pup, as she is very calm and other dogs often enjoy a pack walk. I provide attentive, personalized care based on each pet's needs and routine. This includes feeding according to the owner's instructions, ensuring fresh water is always available, providing exercise and playtime, administering medications if required, and offering plenty of affection and companionship. I monitor pets for any signs of illness or distress and keep owners updated with messages and photos.

About: I've loved dogs and animals in general for as long as I can remember, and I can confidently care for dogs and cats, among other animals (my partner is very into exotics!). As well, my partner is a certified vet tech in-clinic so your pet(s) will be in great hands! We often arrange nail trims, for example, while we watch pets. :) Right now I'm in-between jobs so my availability is very open! Once I start working full-time again, our home is typically available for boarding drop offs weekdays after ~4:30pm (depending on my partner's availability) and weekends all day! I can also walk dogs as needed on most days. I love going for after-dinner walks to get fresh air as well as spontaneous walks throughout the day so your dog(s) will get plenty of fresh air and exercise. I also enjoy interacting with animals as I walk by and move around my home so they're sure to get lots of attention. I can also easily crate your dog if needed.

About: I've had animals for my entire life and was brought up with dogs of many sizes and breeds. It brings me great joy to look after animals of any kind, even the ones considered creepy and crawly. My approach is a thoughtful and caring one that aims to observe a dog/cats boundaries and work with them respectfully. I have looked after dogs and cats of all ages and sizes and know how to build a relationship with animals through care, observation, and consistency. I am currently a biology student whose goal is to pursue animal research and nature conservation. This means I will take an extremely thorough approach to caring for your animals and do any necessary research in order to better look after them. It's my passion in this field that helps me understand and work with animals. I am an extremely enthusiastic sitter and take great delight in getting to know animals and spend time with them. Whether cat, dog, or otherwise, I am looking forward to meeting them and giving them the best care possible. My weekly schedule revolves around college, I have 3 classes a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. There are usually long gaps between classes where I can check in on an animal or walk/feed them and I do not need to be at school all day. From Friday-Monday I have no scheduled commitments and can commit fully to looking after a higher maintenance pet. If you invite me into your home, I will be completely respectful of you animals routine and will do what it takes to keep that up for them. Whether it be walking, cuddles, playtime, baths, or anything else, as long as I have the information then I can do it. I prefer to have a document on hand of your pets needs, either digital or physical, so that I can provide the best care possible. With new animals my first objective is always to pay attention to their needs and communication styles so I can give them whatever they require. About: I have house-sat to take care of friends cats and dogs of all sizes and temperaments several times over the past 10 years. I have a deep love for animals especially after losing my own cat a few years ago. My references can attest to my thorough and caring work when looking after their furry family and I can assure you I will do the same with yours! I have an affinity for cats specially and understand animal body language and boundaries (especially with strangers). I currently am a full time student about to graduate from SFU next year and work full time for the summer (7:30am-3:30pm). I am extremely flexible and can work my schedule around whenever you need! Same day appointments can be made in emergencies but I prefer at least one day of notice. I can easily adapt to your animals needs when I look after them, being able to read their body language and understand their cues! I love to cuddle and play with them but am also happy to give them their own space to ensure they are not stressed or scared during your absence. I am here for their (and your) comfort!

About: I used to have two boston terriers for 15+ years. When they passed away from old age it was really hard for me. They were healthy and just all around perfect dogs for me. I can’t describe with words how much I miss them. I’m not sure if I’ll ever be emotionally ready to own and lose my own dogs again. Right now I’m content with occasionally taking care of your dogs. Your dog/dogs can expect to be spoiled rotten with lots of affection, attentive care & mental stimulation. Any special needs can be catered to if informed ahead of time. All dogs must be house trained(except for puppies) and non aggressive towards other dogs and humans. Please bring all food, bed, toys etc to ensure your dog is not overwhelmed with too much change. I work from home full time typically from Monday to Friday 9-5. I have flexible schedule to take the dogs out for walks. It’s always nice to take a break from work. My place is usually very tidy and air conditioned. I make sure there aren’t any objects they can chew or swallow. Your dog will get one on one attention in a kid and other animal free environment.

I have had my fare share of dog walkers cancelling at the last minute so I know the frustration with finding a reliable and responsible person. I am now 50 years old and will be there for your dog or cat, as agreed and as needed. I recently lost my big Rhodesian Ridgeback. We hiked every day for his ten year life. He was a well trained (by me) but spoiled boy who slept in my bed and was allowed on the sofa. I would treat yours based on your own rules but they would be loved and completely cared for. I find myself not wanting another dog of my own just yet but wanting to take care of others while I have the time. * Doggy day care max 8 hrs * House sit/boarding 24 hours * Dog walking one hour * Home visits 20-30 minutes My schedule is open but new dogs I will book solo so we get to know each other first. I can do day or evening walks, any day of the week. Boarding would consist of walking your dog everyday, max 2 dogs at a time. I have a very large home in Westwood Plateau. I have a fenced yard that we can hang out in after our walks, which would usually be in the forest where they can be on or off leash once we get to know each other.
