“Yu-Yi is a wonderful dog walker! I feel so lucky to have found someone reliable and that I can trust with my new puppy. She's always on time and keeps me updated on any issues she's working on with Tassie. I've already noticed a difference in her behaviour while on walks. Thank you Yu-Yi! I appreciate the amazing care you take of my sweet pup 😊”

About: I have dogs of different breeds in my home since I was 7 years old. I have been taking care for dogs of all ages for over 17 years. I work from home 3 days a week, so I am open to come during lunch break or after work, also I often home on the weekend. It depends on the animal. I can take the cage with an animal home. Mostly open to provide service at pet's owner place. Generally cats do not like to be taken to a different home.

About: Currently volunteering at Delta Community Animal Shelter, providing their dogs with enrichment, socializing, and play. I have hands-on experience working with dogs that have a wide range of needs. I specialize in supporting reactive dogs with calm, patient, dog-led care that gives them space to feel safe and understood. My approach is enrichment-based and focused on the individual dog in front of me. I pay attention to body language, the environment, distance from triggers, and what each dog needs that day. I believe walks should be more than exercise. They should help dogs sniff, explore, decompress, and feel more settled. I have experience with large dogs, senior dogs, rescue dogs, and dogs who need slower introductions or extra advocacy on walks. I use positive reinforcement and do not use prong collars, choke chains, or e-collars. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, respected, and cared for while giving you peace of mind. Dogs are already a big part of my daily life. I plan my schedule around dog walks, enrichment, routines, and giving each dog the time and space they need. I only take on pets when I know I can give them calm, focused, reliable care. I treat every dog and home with care and respect. In a client’s home, I follow instructions closely, keep routines consistent, and make sure your dog feels safe. On walks, I’m aware of body language, triggers, leash handling, and surroundings so your dog is never rushed or put into situations they cannot handle.
“Debbie is our absolute favourite walker! She truly treats our pup like her own and I know he is always in great hands when he is with her! She knows about pet safety and things to look out for and my dog has the best time with her.”

“What a gem! Diane went above and beyond for my Frankie when I was away on vacation. She’s great with dogs and from the moment Frankie met Diane I knew it was going to be a great match. I would not hesitate to have Diane watch my pets in the future and will definitely be reaching out if I need a sitter. 10/10, 5 stars, A+!!”

About: I’ve been a loving pet owner for years and I understand how important routines, exercise, and a safe, comfy environment are for happy pets. Through caring for my own dog, I’ve gained experience with walks, feeding, play, and reading body language. I’m comfortable with energetic pups and also patient with those who need a little extra time to warm up. I treat every pet like my own and always put their safety, comfort, and happiness first! I balance part time work and school. My schedule can vary a little, but feel free to reach out! I'm happy to work with you to find something that fits. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first with me! I carefully follow your instructions, from feeding and walk routines to any special care needs, so your pet’s routine stays consistent. On walks, I keep dogs on a leash and stay aware of our surroundings, always paying attention to their behaviour and comfort, especially around other dogs or new environments. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and focused on keeping your pet relaxed in their familiar environment. I’m also happy to send updates and photos, so you always know your pet is happy and in good hands.
About: I have been a pet lover and owner my whole life. I have had all kinds of pets like cats, a dog, a bird, fish and hamsters. I have taken care of all of their needs including feeding, walks, companionship, cleaning up after them, bathing, vet visits and more. I am available for all weekdays 9:30am-2:30pm and possibly later for "mom hours" while my child is in school. These hours tend to coincide with a lot of peoples working hours while they are not home or available to tend to their pets. And when their pets may need companionship the most which I will be happy to provide. I will work with your homes and pets needs with any needs that they have. For example, if your pet is shy or timid I will work with them to gain my trust and give them space when needed. If your dog does not like to socialize with other dogs I will make sure to keep them away from them. Trust and safety will always come first! Feel free to reach out to me for any questions that you have!

I have a dog of my own which is perfect company for your fur baby, my backyard is fenced and perfectly safe to run around in!
About: What truly sets us apart is the consistency and trust I bring. I spent my entire life being reliable, dependable, and responsible with animals: and that shows in everything I do. Pet parents can count on me with regular updates, and the peace of mind that their dog is being treated like family. I’m available from Monday through Friday from 8 am to-8 pm. I can also accommodate weekends. I own a vehicle so I am able to offer pick and drop off services. About: I have been working with animals for over ten years, including regularly volunteering at local animal rescues, such as VOKRA and the BCSPCA. I can watch cats, dogs, bunnies, birds, and everything in between, but my specialty is cats and dogs. I am a high energy person who loves going on runs, and I love taking dogs with me. I often take my friend's and neighbour's dogs on hikes, and it's one of my favourite pastimes. I have been trained in pet care and animal CPR so I am confident in always ensuring your pet is healthy and safe. I work generally from home and I make my own hours, so stepping away to take care of pets is extremely easy for me. I also work in theatre consistently, but these hours are also staggered so my schedule is frequently very open. I have a three storey condo with two kitties living here. Personally I am more than happy to go to my clients home and watch their pets, both during the day and overnight to ensure they are looked after and safe. I live with two cats and my husband so I have plenty of time and ability to travel and stay in other places. I would love to meet you in person to make sure you feel safe with someone new watching your furry friend.
About: I’m a dedicated and compassionate individual with a keen sense for understanding and addressing the unique needs of dogs. My background with dogs has strengthened my ability to stay calm and be focused in stressful situations, ensuring your pet receives the best care possible. With a natural love for animals and a commitment to their well-being, I will provide a safe, loving, and attentive environment for your furry friend! I am currently in University pursing a criminology degree, so most of my schedule is pretty flexible. I will usually offer day time sitting in the afternoon and evenings and overnight only on the weekends (Friday & Saturday). I provide tailored pet care in my home or the client’s home, ensuring each pet's specific needs are met with personalized attention, regular exercise, feeding, and lots of affection.

Charlene was amazing with our pups!! She came by twice a day to feed and walk them, sending us tons of photos while we were away. Great communication, very responsible, and our puppies loved her! I would definitely recommend Charlene, and will be using her services again!!!

I can’t recommend Aneeka enough as a dog walker! 🐾 she have been absolutely wonderful with our dog Buddy—always reliable, caring, and so attentive. It gave me real peace of mind knowing my dog was in such good hands. You can truly tell she loves what she do, and it shows in the way she connects with my dog. We’re so grateful for all the help and care she provided. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and kind for their furry friend!

Fantastic Dog Walker! I couldn't be happier with the dog walking service provided for my Golden Retriever, Fluffy! YU-YI C. has been absolutely amazing. From the first walk, I could tell that she genuinely care about Fluffy's well-being. She is not just walking my dog—she is making sure he gets the exercise and attention he needs, and it shows in his happy, wagging tail when he gets home! I feel completely at ease knowing Fluffy is in such capable, caring hands. Highly recommend this service to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive dog walker!

Hillary is was amazing with Buffy. Buffy is usually reserved and uncomfortable with strangers but he got along with Hillary immediately! She was extremely patient and understanding of Buffy, giving him a safe space with her right off the bat. We went to the dog park together and all the dogs surrounded Hillary (they sense good energy!!) I would recommend Hillary to anyone looking for a dog sitter/walker; she is amazing with dogs! :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Delta choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find walkers who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
