About: I have always been a dog lover! I have over 10 years of dog sitting experience for friends and family for short and overnight stays. I have cared for dogs of all ages from puppies to golden oldies. I have experience in giving medication or attending to special care needs. I am a mama to a 3 year old sweetheart named Ollie. Ollie is an Aussiedoodle and one of his life's missions is to play and be friends with absolutely every person and dog he comes across. He's full of energy and is very curious about the world around him. He is so special and incredibly accommodating of other dogs. He'll tailor his energy levels, patience, and playfulness up and down based on who he's playing with. He's super gentle with babies (fur and humans!), patient with the elderly, and if your dog is indifferent, he'll do his best to entice them to play before eventually minding his own business. I also have 2 teenagers at home who are also dog lovers and would love to have an extra fur baby from time to time come to visit and stay. Our family would love to welcome another fur baby into our home permanently but it just isn't the right or responsible time to do so. To keep the feelings of impulsively bringing home another dog at bay, I decided that in the meantime I could just hang out with other people's dogs. I promise your dog will be safe, happy and well taken care of as if they were my own. **Note regarding pick up and drop off fee** Rover only allows me to set one rate for round trip pick up and drop off. If you would like me to pick up or drop off your pet(s) I will manually adjust the rate based on the distance: - 0-5 km $20 - 5-15 km $30 - 15-25 km $40 - 25-50 km $50 - 50+ km $55+ I work exclusively at home with a very flexible work schedule. Frequent potty breaks are absolutely no issue. My boy, Ollie, gets 4 walks a day, with 2 of them being a minimum of 30 minutes. I can take your dog for walks alongside mine or alone if that’s the preference! I would be happy to take your dog to a nearby dog park as well. If car rides are enjoyable, I would also be happy to take your dog on a ride if that's what they enjoy. We can work together to figure out what it is that makes you and your dog comfortable and happy. I have a ~2300 square foot 2 level home. We have a covered sun deck so pets can freely roam in and out of the home. I have a yard but it is not fully fenced or enclosed. We have lots of toys to keep your dog entertained and stimulated. My dog Ollie has no problems sharing.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10 and I understand that every dog has their own personality and routine, so I take the time to make them feel at home. Whether your pup loves playtime, cuddles, walks, or quiet time, I’ll make sure they receive patient, attentive, and loving care. I am currently a full-time college student doing online courses, so I’ll be available to care for your pup any day of the week except Wednesdays. I am free any time of the day including weekends. Your fur baby is welcome to roam freely around the house, and I can set up pee pads or crates if needed. I also have a small fenced yard for quick potty breaks, plus an off-leash dog park just two blocks away for fun adventures and exercise!
“Luanne had been great with my Flynn. It takes him some time to warm up to new people but she has allowed him to come out of his shell at his pace. He had a great time with her today and she sent lots of pictures and updates.”

“Steven and Gloria are very attentive and accommodating with Winnie. She is usually very clingy with me, but when I drop her off she is excited to be there. She gets lots of walks and playtime with Wiggles, her new doggie friend! I highly recommend them.”

“Roop took amazing care of my boy Frodo! He’s still a puppy, so I know he can be a handful, but she was so sweet, patient, and kind with him. She also accepted my booking last minute, which I hugely appreciated. I would absolutely recommend Roop and her family to anyone looking for a pet sitter. You can feel confident your pets will be cared for and loved just like family.”

“I’m so happy to find Jasmine. She and her hubby are super responsive and caring. It is definitely nerve wracking to find someone to leave my fur baby with and they totally get it. They sent lots of photos and even videos which was so awesome coz my separation anxiety may be worse than Hermann’s. Hermann looks like he really enjoys hanging with out with his new second fam, especially JD and Winter, who are super chill and great role models for him! Thank you Jasmine and fam! ??”

“Irene take care of my dog the first time and I was happy with her attentive and caring of our dog Esme. She sent me updates and photos of her status which gives me a peace of mind while away from her. Also my dog seems calm and relax after staying at her home. Thank you 😊”

“I had such a great experience with Flora watching Wolfy for the day! She gave him so much attention, played with him lots, and sent the best photo updates throughout the day. I could tell Wolfy was happy, comfortable, and having a great time. I really appreciated how caring and thoughtful she was — I’d absolutely recommend Flora to anyone looking for a fantastic dog sitter!”

About: Hi! We are Igor and Liuda, a couple of a dog lovers. We’ve both grown up with dogs and have always had them in our lives. Right now, as we’re settling into our new life in Canada, we don’t have a pup of our own just yet—but we truly miss that connection. That’s why we’re excited to care for your furry friend and give them all the love and attention they deserve while you're away or busy. I’ve worked as a canine coach at a dog daycare, which gave me hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities. Whether it’s helping to train a puppy or providing extra care to a senior dog, I tailor my approach to each dog’s needs. Igor also worked as a canine coach and Rover sitter, and he has a calm, caring nature that dogs—especially older ones—respond well to. We’re both active and love hiking, so if your dog enjoys being outdoors, they can join us on fun, scenic walks that provide both exercise and mental stimulation. At home, we take joy in daily care—brushing, bathing, playing, and regular walks—making sure your dog feels happy, comfortable, and loved like a member of the family. Pet care fits perfectly into our routine, as we're available from 4 pm on Fridays to Monday evening. We provide regular walks, playtime as well as feeding routine( food provided by pet parents to not disturb the diet) and necessary limmited medical manipulations (pills, ointments and cleaning teeth), ensuring your dog receives consistent care and attention throughout the weekend. Our flexible schedule and love for dogs make us a great fit for your pet’s needs. In our non-smoking studio apartment with AC for hot days, your dog will never be unattended, ensuring they receive constant care and attention. We're located near several dog parks and the New Westminster Quay for outdoor play and exercise. We provide treats (discussed for allergies), peanut butter, licking mats, bowls, Kongs, and bedding for comfort. We also accept non-spayed and non-neutered dogs. Additionally, we don't have other pets or children, so your dog will enjoy a calm and focused environment. We also love taking pictures and making videos of dogs to keep you updated and provide regular reports on their activities and well-being.

Nice to see a few photos of Bentley while at doggy daycare , looks like he was having a good time. He was happy when we picked him up and glad to hear he was a good boy. Thankful and appreciate Jacqueline sent Bentley home in a better collar than he came in . ❤️ I would definitely request another time for Bentley to visit and spend time at her doggy daycare.

We took our dog Sage to Keiona for doggy daycare today for the very first time, and she was absolutely amazing! Sage is a very timid dog who is normally only looked after by family, so she is usually reluctant to stay with anyone she doesn’t know. Keiona was incredibly patient and caring, and Sage ended up having a fabulous time. She received lots of one-on-one attention, plenty of playtime, and we loved receiving regular updates and pictures throughout the day. It was so reassuring to know Sage was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. We would not hesitate to use Keiona again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog sitter. Thank you, Keiona!

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Delta commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in BC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines such as the DHPP or DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 81% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 92% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 99% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
