My dog is an energetic male Golden Retriever who gets excited very easily, and during the few hours he stayed at Lu’s place, she consistently sent me photo and video updates. I could clearly see how happy he was, freely releasing his energy and having a great time in her home. When I picked him up, he was completely tired out, in the best way, which was such a pleasant surprise. What truly touched me was how attentive Lu is. She remembered every single thing I mentioned about my dog’s needs and things to watch out for, even details I only brought up briefly during our rushed first meeting. I have had my fare share of dog walkers cancelling at the last minute so I know the frustration with finding a reliable and responsible person. I am now 50 years old and will be there for your dog or cat, as agreed and as needed. I recently lost my big Rhodesian Ridgeback. We hiked every day for his ten year life. He was a well trained (by me) but spoiled boy who slept in my bed and was allowed on the sofa. I would treat yours based on your own rules but they would be loved and completely cared for. I find myself not wanting another dog of my own just yet but wanting to take care of others while I have the time. * Doggy day care max 8 hrs * House sit/boarding 24 hours * Dog walking one hour * Home visits 20-30 minutes My schedule is open but new dogs I will book solo so we get to know each other first. I can do day or evening walks, any day of the week. Boarding would consist of walking your dog everyday, max 2 dogs at a time. I have a very large home in Westwood Plateau. I have a fenced yard that we can hang out in after our walks, which would usually be in the forest where they can be on or off leash once we get to know each other.

About: I was a dog-mom for 8 years before losing my boy to cancer in June 2024. Believe me when I say, I love dogs more than I can put into words. They are a constant reminder of what is good and beautiful about this world and I truly do love them all like they are my own. I am exceptionally knowledgeable and skilled at caring for senior dogs with high medical, emotional and physical health needs as well as anxious dogs. While my dog was with me, he was under the care of a Naturopath, a GP vet, an Internal Medicine Specialist and a Cardiologist, and he attended biweekly Hydrotherapy sessions in early 2024. He also ate homecooked meals, under advisement from his Naturopath, before transitioning to speciality food. I am available to help in Coquitlam , Port Coquitlam and Port Moody so, drop me a line -- I can't wait to meet you and your fur-baby :) I work from home 3 days a week so, I can make time to walk your dog (within Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody) or, if you'd like, I would look after your dog in my home office while I work. At pick up time Stephanya took the time to let us know if he ate, how he behaved and how his day went. Lucas is pretty fluffy so Stephanya made sure to turned the air conditioning on to make her place cooler for him. Lucas also had a one hour walk while spending the day with her. About: Loving pet carer with over 20 years experience with dogs and cats. I offer daytime walks, daycare at my home, drop ins, and overnight care. Being an at-home parent my hours are fairly flexible on weekdays, and on weekends by request. We currently have one kitten of our own living at home, your pet would have to be comfortable with that. IMPORTANT For stays in my home: I do have two children at home (a 6yr old and a 10yr old) so for any bookings at my home I can only take in pets who are comfortable being around children. They have grown up around dogs, cats, and farm animals. I always take care to ensure that pets have space for themselves and that the children treat them respectfully, but I am unable to take in pets that may be extremely timid or aggressive with children. I am a stay at home Mum, and work part-time at home. So my schedule is fairly flexible, pets are not left on their own unless it’s for short periods. I’m happy to work with clients to accommodate their drop off and pick up times. Dogs have access to our fully fenced yard and a park just down the block. I never let a dog outside in our yard without me being present. I work from home allowing my schedule to be flexible to help accommodate your needs. Available weekdays and weekends, can be available on short notice. have a fenced in yard, where dogs can enjoy supervised play and potty breaks. I am able to contain dogs or cats to my family room/kitchen or living room if needed and happy to accept crates if needed.
