About: In my 40 years of life I have always had a dog. I grew up loving a Standard Schnauzer (15) and a Miniature Schnauzer (14) and as an adult my husband and I have loved a Boston Terrier (12) and another Schnauzer (13). We currently do not have a pet and while we grieve our recent loss we want to pet-sit and experience other breeds. My family and I are very familiar with all ages/stages of dogs and prepared to care for your puppy, teenager or senior furry friend in our home. We will treat your pet as if they were our own ❤️ I am fortunate enough to work from home. Your pet would be in my care 24/7, literally! My husband works daytime hours out of the house and our children, ages 12 and 9, are at school but home in evenings to play with your pet (should the pet have energy after the daytime walk I take it on). Any time our daughters interact with your pet will be supervised by myself; hopefully having children present will be a comfort to your pet. Your dog will have free range of our main floor during the day. This is where all the action happens as it's our kitchen, dining room, living room, TV room and access to the backyard. Our yard is fully fenced too. Upstairs is where the bedrooms are located as well as a large hallways with a landing space. Depending on your dog's needs their bed may be in the upstairs hallway, in my bedroom or downstairs in the TV room away from people. My children's bedrooms will be off-limits (doors closed). We will discuss what will work best for your pet and accommodate that.

About: My husband and I currently have a young female corgi, Ellie, who we love to spend our time with! My husband and his family had a chihuahua that he took care of for 12 years before he passed away and we currently also dog sit for our parents’ maltipoo from time to time. We love being able to interact with different breeds and also let our corgi have some fun social interactions. We both have work from home days (sometimes separate or together) With our corgi, we walk her three times a day and give her lots of attention throughout the day. We live in a townhome with three floors. If your dog needs some personal spaces, we have crates and gates we can use to keep the dogs apart. During playtime, there is lots of room indoors for them to run around safely. There is a grass area just two steps from our front door for quick and easy potty. There are lots of good walking trails available in the area that we like to take Ellie on.
