My dog is an energetic male Golden Retriever who gets excited very easily, and during the few hours he stayed at Lu’s place, she consistently sent me photo and video updates. I could clearly see how happy he was, freely releasing his energy and having a great time in her home. When I picked him up, he was completely tired out, in the best way, which was such a pleasant surprise. What truly touched me was how attentive Lu is. She remembered every single thing I mentioned about my dog’s needs and things to watch out for, even details I only brought up briefly during our rushed first meeting. About: I have always been around dogs and cared deeply for them whether they were my own or not. I currently have a 10 year old chocolate Labrador so it's safe to say I'm experienced in various areas of dog care and puppy chaos. I don't have any professional experience but I will care for your pet as if they were my own. I currently work from home and a stay-at-home mom. So outside of taking my young ones to school or activities, I am home 90% of the day. I have a large fenced yard and a chocolate Labrador so your dog will have plenty of play time available to them. Water is easily available in and outside of the home. I will take note of your pets feeding schedule and follow accordingly. I also have a crate available if your pet is crate-trained.

I grew up around dogs, have lived with dogs for much of my life, and regularly care for my parents' two Toy Australian Shepherds whenever they're away. They're a mother and daughter duo with very different personalities and needs. The mother is a senior with hip issues who benefits from extra patience and mobility support, while her daughter has anxiety and does best with a calm, reassuring approach and a consistent routine. Being Toy Australian Shepherds, they're also incredibly intelligent and active, so I'm used to dogs that thrive on structure, engagement, and paying close attention to their individual needs. While I don't have experience with every unique medical or behavioural situation, I've been around a wide variety of dog personalities, energy levels, and temperaments. I pay close attention to canine body language, respect each dog's boundaries, and believe that building trust is far more important than forcing interactions. Whether I'm taking your dog for a walk, stopping by for a drop-in visit, spending the day with them, or caring for them overnight, I'll treat them with the same patience, attention, and respect I give the dogs in my own life. If your dog has a routine or needs I'm unfamiliar with, I'm always happy to do my research beforehand and carefully follow your instructions.
