Growing up with both a small teacup dog and later a Malamute/Siberian Husky mix gave me experience with very different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I now have my own one year old Australian Shepherd, and raising him has been such a meaningful experience. I’ve been consistently training with him since he was three months old, focusing on structure, patience, and building a strong bond. That experience has strengthened my understanding of how important routine and clear communication are for dogs to feel secure. In addition, I foster puppies through a rescue organization. Each puppy is different in age, breed, and temperament, and I genuinely enjoy helping them settle in, build confidence, and feel safe in a new environment. It’s important to me that every dog in my care feels comfortable, understood, and truly looked after. Dogs are already a big part of my everyday routine! I have a pup of my own, so I’m used to planning my days around walks, playtime, and making sure their needs are met. I currently work Saturday to Wednesday, typically from 10:30 AM to 5 PM, with earlier starts on Mondays (9 AM) and Tuesdays (8 AM). About: Our family loves dogs, and we have cared for our close friends’ dogs for several weeks at a time while they were away. Although we are new to Rover, we have experience providing a loving and comfortable home for dogs we know and care about. My husband and I both grew up in homes where we always had dogs as part of our family. We also had a Labrador named Ruby, whom we loved and treated like our first daughter. Unfortunately, we lost her due to medical complications, but she will always hold a very special place in our hearts. We treat every dog that enters our home like a member of our own family. My husband, Subodh, and I both work from home, so your dog will have plenty of company and attention throughout the day. We take dogs for regular morning walks and can provide additional potty and walk breaks every 2–4 hours. We especially appreciate dogs that are comfortable walking on a leash without excessive pulling, as this helps ensure enjoyable and safe walks for everyone. We love keeping pet parents connected by sharing regular photos and videos, and you are always welcome to message us while your dog is staying with us. To provide plenty of individual attention and care, we typically host only one dog at a time. We also have two children who absolutely love dogs and enjoy giving them lots of affection and attention!
