About: I have taken care of a few dachshunds and miniature pinchers for friends and family for about 6 years. Feeding, walking, and playing with them. I have grown up with cats as well. I believe that it is important to take each pet's individual personality and preferences into account when caring for them. I have experience with dogs with disabilities, more specifically I have been taking care of a dachshund with IVDD for 2 years, helping him get around and giving medication. He had 4 spinal surgeries over the past 2 years. I currently work for Rocky Mountaineer train, which is a seasonal job (April until mid October). I work from Friday to Monday. My open availability will be every Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. I own a pet ramp for easy access to furniture that is accessible to small or disabled animals. If your pet needs medication, I encourage a detailed instructive list on how to make your pet as comfortable as possible for a swift recovery. About: I’ve loved dogs ever since my grandma adopted a pregnant pitty and watched her raise 8 puppies! I’ve dog walked, boarded, cat sat, boarded on and off my whole adult life. I’ve also worked on a dairy farm and a hobby farm including sheep and chickens. I recently lost my fur baby in Dec, 2025, and have been missing animals in my life and home but am not ready to have another yet. Hoping to share my love and care with yours for now! I currently work part time, approx 9am to 2pm. I have two children, 6&9, who I then pick up from school and am home by 3. I take dogs in my care for a morning walk around 7am before school drop off and again in the afternoon(or evening depending on the weather). I currently have no pets, our friends in the basement suit have two cats, if your pet likes friends. If not, it’s easy to keep them separate in their own suit. I have a large yard that is not fully fenced so I take dogs out for bathroom breaks on leash or long tether.

About: I have a Beautiful Border Collie called Cheto I have been worked in Mexico with a "Adopta un Amigo" organization where we promote the homeless adoption culture, rescue, cure and sterilize them, after that process carefully select their future human friends, We ensure that dogs stay in the best hands. For me it would be very helpful to take care of dogs here in Vancouver Feeding and providing fresh water. A walk or play session for exercise and mental stimulation. Quality bonding time like cuddling or playing. Quick check-in for water and playtime. Provide meals according to the pet’s dietary needs and schedule. Ensure fresh, clean water is available at all times. Offer daily walks, backyard play, or indoor games to keep the pet active and engaged. Provide mental stimulation through toys, puzzles, or training sessions.

I grew up around dogs, have lived with dogs for much of my life, and regularly care for my parents' two Toy Australian Shepherds whenever they're away. They're a mother and daughter duo with very different personalities and needs. The mother is a senior with hip issues who benefits from extra patience and mobility support, while her daughter has anxiety and does best with a calm, reassuring approach and a consistent routine. Being Toy Australian Shepherds, they're also incredibly intelligent and active, so I'm used to dogs that thrive on structure, engagement, and paying close attention to their individual needs. While I don't have experience with every unique medical or behavioural situation, I've been around a wide variety of dog personalities, energy levels, and temperaments. I pay close attention to canine body language, respect each dog's boundaries, and believe that building trust is far more important than forcing interactions. Whether I'm taking your dog for a walk, stopping by for a drop-in visit, spending the day with them, or caring for them overnight, I'll treat them with the same patience, attention, and respect I give the dogs in my own life. If your dog has a routine or needs I'm unfamiliar with, I'm always happy to do my research beforehand and carefully follow your instructions. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away! Right now I have a pretty open and flexible schedule, so I'm able to work around most pet care needs. My childhood dog, Chappie, is turning 15 this year and he’s truly my best friend. We sadly lost his sister, Coco, a couple of years ago, and since then Chappie and I have been even more inseparable. And my wife, Nikki, and I have been sharing full-time Dog Mom duties for over 5 years. In October 2025, we lost our good boy, Eddie, after a long decline during which I learned to comfortably administer insulin. Now, our sweet rescue girl, Moxy (age 9 or 10), has no fur friends to spend time with. While not required, I prefer to care for dogs who are comfortable with Moxy tagging along for walks and house-sits. She is a well behaved, house-trained, 9-year-old Maltese-Mini Schnauzer mix who is, as we like to say, "just happy to be there." She is good with most dogs, but becomes avoidant of dogs who get overly excited and rough. She plays very gently. I am available for dog walks, drop ins or day sits anytime after 9am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Mondays and Thursdays are my focused work days, so I am only available after 5pm. I am also available for pet sitting any day of the week, as long as your pets are able to be left alone for up to 4 hours per day on weekdays. That work is usually done on Mondays and Thursdays, however, I can spread it out over the week to decrease the time that I'd need to be away from your pets if your trip falls on those days. You know your pet(s) best, so we can discuss the preferred way for me to accommodate them.
