Antaress was amazing with our puppy , she was punctual and professional. Completed all the tasks of walking and feeding our pup and submitted progress photos for our peace of mind while we were at work. This is the second time Brooklyn has looked after our cats. We went away for two weeks and it was such a relief to know that she was looking after them. She took really good care of our cats and sent the loveliest photos to us. I can't recommend her enough.

Hilary eased my stress of leaving my fur babies while I had to leave on a work trip. She sent me photos each day and notes to ensure all their needs were met. She listened to all instructions and made sure to communicate with me. Very kind and trustworthy. I will be using her again for any future babysitting .

About: I grew up around all kinds of animals, dogs more specifically. My family was a take in and care kind, from helping out friends and family’s pets. I took care of many size dogs and even quite a few were my own dogs. I recently moved to BC and wanted to start out with a nice small job, also something I know and love to do take care of dogs! I can fit a visit or a walk into my schedule pretty easily. I currently cannot have dogs in my home, however I’m more than willing to stop by for visits in you home take your dog out to relieve themselves or let out some energy with a nice walk around your neighborhood.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and have raised rescue cats for most of it, while also caring for dogs and other pets along the way. I love discovering each pet’s unique personality - whether they’re playful, shy, or somewhere in between. Your fur baby will be treated like royalty and my new little bestie, with plenty of love, attention, and affection. Think massages, gentle scratches, belly rubs (if invited!), and a calm, comforting presence so they feel safe, happy, and truly cared for while you’re away. You can count on me for reliable, responsible, and attentive care, with every instruction followed, your home respected, and regular updates with photos to keep your mind at ease until you’re back. I work from home 4 days a week, so can easily pop in a morning, lunch, after work, and/or evening visit or walk most days if you live in Maple Ridge or a neighboring municipality. I provide drop-in visits and short walks. I am communicative, will follow your instructions, and treat your pet(s) with the utmost care. It is important to me that your fur baby feels safe and loved, and you feel confident that your pet is being well-taken care of by someone who will shower them with love.

Shadnay has done a great job with my black lab! Very punctual and caring towards my boy. As we all know dogs thrive on routine and Shadnay shows up at almost exactly the same time everyday. My dog came down with a cough and could no longer attend daycare for awhile. Shadnay jumped right in and made a very stressful situation for me much easier ! Will most definitely use her services again ! Thanks Shadnay!

Morgan quickly developed an amazing rappport with Jackson. Jackson is quite slow in feeling comfortable with new people and very stand-offish. He warmed up to Morgan so nicely. He appeared in many videos and pictures which kept me at peace being away from my boy. Morgan followed all the household directions; mail, watering plants, recycling, etc. Morgan was communicative and available throughout the booking. I recommend Morgan to other "pet parents".

Hailey is great every time. We have used her services several times in 2025 and hope to work with her in 2026. She is great at taking time to know the pets and always lets me know their moods and how they are warming up to her. It's great to know she cares and it's not just a check in to feed and scoop litter! I really appreciate the extra attention she provides. Thanks so much!!

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I’m truly passionate about. I grew up in a family that loved and rescued animals, so I learned from an early age to treat every pet with patience, kindness, and compassion. My mom co-owned a pet sitting company in Maple Ridge, where I regularly helped with dog walks, in-home visits, overnight care, and looking after everything from dogs and cats to farm and exotic animals. I also worked at a veterinary clinic, which gave me valuable experience handling pets in a professional setting and recognizing the importance of their health, safety, and comfort. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I always care for them as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and happy while you’re away, so you can have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in caring and experienced hands. My schedule is fairly flexible as I work from home and my two kids are typically in daycare and school. I have a reliable vehicle and will do my best to work around your schedule. I’d care for pets in either my home or my clients home. I can be flexible and we can come to an arrangement so that you’re comfortable and the pet is happy

About: From a young age I have always had a love for animals. At age 11 I got my first puppy, a Great Dane named Lucy. Lucy ended up having severe reactivity towards other dogs. Through her I quickly realized I had a passion and natural talent for dog training and soon decided to pursue a career in the training field. I have dabbled in many sports such as flyball, agility, rally, nosework, disc, and even some lure coursing! I rescued a dog of my very own in 2014, a very anxious, high energy, one year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Charles. I didn't give up on Charlie, and through training, lots of structure in his daily outings, and patience, Charlie is still my beloved companion years later. I learnt so much through Charlie, and I believe strongly that the best way to have a healthy, happy dog is through a balance of exercise, enrichment, training, and a positive bond with their owner, and hope to help people enjoy each and everyday with their canine friends! I specifically love specifically to work with German Shepherd and Shepherd mixes, as a “Shepherd Person” myself and have lots of experience with large, strong, and reactive dogs. My Resume Includes: -NESDECA Certified Detection Dog Team/Handler -12+ Years of dog training and walking experience -Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT, PCTIA Certified, Good Dog Academy) -Graduate of Holly and Hugo Academy's Animal Psychology, Pet Adoption, Pet Nutrition, Animal Training and Pet Sitting, and Dog Grooming courses -Taken Dr Ian Dunbar's Crucial Concepts in Dog behaviour and Training (Over 10 hours of lecture) -Senior Trainer at SpiritDog Training I currently work as a trainer. Previously I used to do dog walking but stopped over the pandemic. I’ve missed it and would like to take on a small group of clients to get back into walking and walk & trains! I treat all pets as if they were my own and pride myself that my clients dogs will receive all the same effort and care as my own dogs do, and the level of care I would expect my dogs to receive in the care of others.

About: I started dog sitting when a family member had to temporarily relocate to Toronto for medical needs. Sitting in the hospital i just really wanted to walk a dog - a friend suggested rover and I ended up not only walking dogs but getting some puppy snuggles in too (: i had so much fun I've decided to keep it up! I have taken care of many animals - I do respite for people and this often includes their animals(: from tiny to large, young to old. Plenty of experience with oral medication and handling incontinence, very energetic dogs and the ones who take their time. I had my border collie for over 15 years, they taught me how important and rewarding it is to thoroughly care for our furry companions. I work for the school board and have extra flexibility during breaks 😊 typically I take a dog for 3 walks a day, morning, a bigger afternoon walk and before bed time(: if i can I love spending a day hiking or exploring the neighborhood I care for my client's homes and pets as if they were my own. Dietary needs, mobility, medication, behavior management and other needs are top priority. As well as all the fun(: i own my home in Vancouver and understand the importance of taking care of it. Off leash time i very cautious and need to build trust first. I do have a dog friendly car:) Happy to provide references 😊

I was very happy with the way that Aaron took care of my senior kitties - especially my Stoli who has kidney disease and so needs extra attention to encourage him to eat and drink. They hit it off right away, I was confident in Aaron‘s ability as soon as I saw how well he related to my cats!

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
