“Riley is a Star Sitter for many reasons! She has been dog sitting Tux for some time until Ford came along. I have thought of getting another dog so they won’t be lonely when I am away. It was my first time to leave my dog and a puppy for a period of 10 days and 9 nights but she managed everything from dog sitting to house maintenance (cleanliness, orderliness) I know it’s hard to keep the house mud and mess free when you have dogs. It takes a lot of trust and confidence to leave your fur babies to someone, but Riley gave me peace of mind! She will update you what’s going on and will send you photos. She is also very responsive. One time, I forgot the time zone difference. It was 4am in Canada, surprisingly she still replied! Please take note that she gets fully booked quickly, so if you are looking for a reliable and trustworthy pet sitter, Riley is the name!!! Don’t hesitate to book her. I highly recommend ! About: I was born and raised on the farm, surrounded by animals from my youngest years. I have learned how to take care of chickens and cows before I learned to write. During my life I have been around and taken care of most common types of pets, including large parrots and reptiles (proud snake owner myself). I’d probably have easier time living without people than without animals! So be assured I will to take care of your furry/feathery/scaly friends as if they’re my own I am currently doing freelance, so I’m free most of the time and will have no problem staying with your pet for the whole day or even overnight I will make sure to follow any instructions you give me to take care of your pet. I am more than happy to do play sessions to keep your friend entertained and/or take them for a walk. I can also prepare home made food if that’s something your pet requires. Just give me a recipe!

About: I love dogs and always put them first when I’m with them. I previously had 4 dogs (2GSD, 2Shih Tzu) in my home, now 3 as my baby unfortunately passed. I also had a bearded dragon which has taught me new care taking skills. With my GSD who passed, she had an acute kidney injury, I had to place special attention to medication, offering sub Q fluids, special meal plan, as well as partake in many reactivity training due to her behaviour. I am comfortable with larger dogs as such, as well as supporting training. I recently rescued an pitbull from Vegas, who I learned a lot from. Unfortunately he was not a good fit for my busy home, so I now pet sit him as he’s under the care of my friend. I care for all of my friends pets whenever they leave town, and have regular clients separate from this app. I have experience with many types of animals and their needs! I love to hike, and have learned quieter trails due to my dogs reactivity. I will be sure that whatever I am doing for your pet, to keep them safe, ensure they’re having fun, and are well taken care of. I am currently on medical leave due to burnout and stress. This is a great method of therapy for me, and allows me to earn an income as I try to manage my personal situation. I would happily set up a regular schedule for check ins and more if you prefer drop ins! I would prefer extended house sitting requests at this time. I have a lot of experience with training styles, if you would like your dog crated, support potty training etc. I will ensure to keep your home clean as you expect and maintain the habits you are working towards with your fur baby.

About: I’ve grown up around different breeds my whole life, specifically large dog breed. Everything from Pitt Bulls to Australian Shepherds and more. All of my own pets have been put into training classes in which I have participated in that will help me to care for your fur baby. I’m currently free anytime of day so I will have ample time to play with your fur babies. I’m available Monday to Friday between 7am to 3pm. When caring for a pet in your home, I want to maintain a familiar environment for your pet, keeping their routine consistent with feeding times, walks, playtime, and any required medical care. I will also make sure that your home is secure and clean at all times. As well as, give regular updates to the owner with photos or notes.

About: I was the primary caretaker of my dog from 8 years old. This involved general caretaking like feeding, bathing, walking, and monitoring health/medicines into its older age. I also have experience with adopting a resuce dog with major reactivity and physical problems, I have learned a lot after taking him through behavioural therapy and improving his quality of life. I've recently graduated college and have a relatively open schedule for Short or Long-term stays. I have my own vehicle and I'm willing to travel across the lower mainland.
