About: Although I've never owned a dog myself, that's because I've always understood the level of time, commitment, and responsibility they deserve. I grew up around dogs, have lived with dogs for much of my life, and regularly care for my parents' two Toy Australian Shepherds whenever they're away. They're a mother and daughter duo with very different personalities and needs. The mother is a senior with hip issues who benefits from extra patience and mobility support, while her daughter has anxiety and does best with a calm, reassuring approach and a consistent routine. Being Toy Australian Shepherds, they're also incredibly intelligent and active, so I'm used to dogs that thrive on structure, engagement, and paying close attention to their individual needs. While I don't have experience with every unique medical or behavioural situation, I've been around a wide variety of dog personalities, energy levels, and temperaments. I pay close attention to canine body language, respect each dog's boundaries, and believe that building trust is far more important than forcing interactions. Whether I'm taking your dog for a walk, stopping by for a drop-in visit, spending the day with them, or caring for them overnight, I'll treat them with the same patience, attention, and respect I give the dogs in my own life. If your dog has a routine or needs I'm unfamiliar with, I'm always happy to do my research beforehand and carefully follow your instructions.
