However, Andrea proved that she's the best, for once peach played, rested and ate her dinner while the family was away from her. We were very shocked, impressed and greatful for her. About: Do you remember being asked what you wanted to be when you grew up? For several years, my answer was, “A kitty!” I may not have achieved that exact career goal, but I came pretty close—animals have become both my profession and a huge part of my life. I have over 20 years of experience in the pet-care industry, a Veterinary Assistant diploma, and Fear Free certification. My experience includes training puppies and adult dogs, helping condition puppies to become confident and well-rounded, assisting new mothers with their litters, and caring for senior and special-needs pets. For more than nine years, I loved and cared for a dog born without back feet who also had significant allergies. He taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and thinking outside the box when approaching training, mobility and nutrition. My experience extends beyond dogs and cats. I’m also available to care for small animals, reptiles and amphibians, as well as provide freshwater aquarium care and maintenance. Whether your family includes paws, scales, fins or tiny feet, I’ll take the time to learn their individual routine and care requirements. I work a rotating schedule, so my availability varies from week to week. I’m available for drop-in visits and dog walks before or after scheduled shifts, with more open availability on my days off. Overnight house-sitting is also available with advance notice. I’ll review dates and timing with you before confirming a booking to ensure I can reliably maintain your pet’s routine. I provide care in my clients’ homes, where pets can remain comfortable in their familiar environment. A meet-and-greet is an important part of my process so I can meet you and your pets, learn their routine, review home access and discuss veterinary and emergency information before care begins. I follow each household’s instructions closely, respect established boundaries, and pay attention to changes in behaviour, appetite and energy. Walks are handled with safety in mind, and I’m comfortable adapting my approach for shy, nervous, senior, special-needs or reactive pets. Updates and photos can be provided so you know how everyone is doing while you’re away.

About: I’ve had dogs for most of my life and feel i’m very good at reading their body language and redirecting unwanted behaviours. I’ve worked at Barker’s Place Doggy Daycare, supervising up to 20 dogs at a time of all sizes, and walking 2-3 medium-large dogs at a time I currently work 20 consistent hours, so I’m free any time monday-wednesday, thursday and friday before 3pm. If needed I can accommodate for weekends after 6:30pm i have two small dogs at home and lots of running room both inside and out. good floor space to relax and a large fully fenced patio (half covered) for fresh air and soaking up the sun. I like to focus on redirecting unwanted behaviour using a reward based system (no treats without permission from owner)

About: I’ve had a variety of pets since I was little and cared for them well. I am the go to for my friends and family when they are away. I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, rabbits, birds and fish. I currently work from home so I am flexible with my availability daily and weekly. I also have a separate space for pets who need their own area to feel comfortable if they are staying with me. I have parks and trails for daily dog walking. I am able to be flexible with pets needs in my home or at a client’s home. “Jared was awesome with my baby boy. Finn just loves him. We went away for a month, while Jared stayed at our house with Finn. We were concerned how our absence might affect Finn. I worked from home since he was a puppy so he was never without us for long period of time. We did work up to it. I booked some time with Jared for a walk or two. Then from there an overnighter. My neighbour even noticed how he was with Finn, and commented that she saw him everyday going for a walk when we were gone for that month. I hate to recommend him as we want him for ourselves. I would 100% recommend him!”
