About: I have extensive experience with energetic and large breeds, as well as small dogs like my social Aussie shepherd. He is always free to make a new friend if your dog enjoys socializing. With 18+ years of dog sitting, I can provide basic training, improve recall and leash manners, and support potty training. I'm available evenings, weekends and during the day. I am a professional on leave in beautiful BC for the summer. I'm currently not working and looking to fill my time with something I truly love - spending time with animals. I'm flexible and available 24/7. I have a friendly dog who gets along great with other dogs, and I'm available for overnight pet sitting at your home. I can spend most of my time at your home if needed and can take your dogs for two walks a day.

“Caring, reliable, responsible. I look forward to using C-Jay’s services again soon.”

About: Hi I’m Fiona. I’m 22 and I’ve grown up owning and taking care of dogs. I have a pretty flexible schedule (always flexible when it comes to dogs). I also want to be affordable so everyone can access care for their pets. I’ve done everything with dogs including: helping train friends and family’s puppies, watching family dogs when they’re on vacation, and going over to my friend’s houses to let their dogs out while they’re at work. My dogs don’t have a big enough yard to explore in so I’m big on walks and going to the dog park multiple times a day. I’m currently working full time, but I have lots of time before and after work to come and take care of your dog. It’s easiest in the early morning and in the evenings, but I do have midday availability as well. My work can be accommodating with my hours. I can crate your dogs if needed/wanted, play, walk, etc. I strive to fit your needs and will do whatever necessary to what you’re looking for. I’ll keep a careful eye on backyard escapees. I have extra leashes if needed to be leashed on a walk.

About: I don’t just walk dogs—I connect with them. Whether it’s a playful pup or a mellow senior, I meet every dog with patience, positivity, and care. I’ve always had a natural way with dogs, and they seem to sense they can trust me. My goal is to make every walk a highlight of their day, filled with fun, love, and tail wags. I treat every dog like they’re my own—because to me, they are. I offer a flexible schedule and work when I’m needed, making it easy to find a time that works for you and your pet. I’m available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, or cuddles—whether it’s a midday break or a last-minute request. My goal is to be there when you need me most. When you trust me with your pet, you’re not just getting a sitter or walker—you’re getting someone who truly cares. I treat every animal like they’re my own, with kindness, patience, and respect. I show up on time, follow instructions carefully, and always put your pet’s comfort and safety first. You can count on me to give them the love and attention they deserve while you’re away.

“Kristin is very nice and looked after our little Henry in our home. She was swift at responding to our questions and helping us navigate the system as it was our first time using Rover. She made an extra visit to do an initial meet & greet on her own time. We will certainly use her again.”

“It was wonderful to have Andrea house sit our dogs while we were away for two weeks. She sent lots of photos and videos, and they looked like they were having fun and not missing us at all! The house was spotless when we returned.”

“We tried Rover for the first time and we got Alexis She came to our house and met our Pugs, they liked her right away and she seemed good with them. She seemed friendly so we thought yes let’s try this!!! Because our one Pug needs meds I asked Alexis if she could come one more time before left to go over how we gave Zeila her pills and she was happy to do that We went away for 4 nights, Alexis kept us in the loop of how our dogs were doing and sent us pictures. My dogs seemed happy so we were happy. When we came home our house was still clean and Alexis even put her sheets and blanket in the wash, I didn’t expect that. While we were gone it was grass cutting day so I asked if she didn’t mind could she pick up the dog poop and she did. These little extras mean a lot as well but are definitely not expected I hope my littles were not too much for her, we spoil them by letting them sleep with us 😊. It’s just really nice to have someone to trust with our fur babies if needed. I would definitely have her back Thanks for taking care of Zeila and Finn 😊”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 12 I love giving them the attention they are needing. Go for walks and play silly games. Im 18 year old who works a full time job in a restaurant! I always had a passion for animals and want to make sure their needs are fulfilled!! I love to spend time with them and make them happy and secured! I will care for pet as what they are needed for. I like to give them extra care! For dogs I’ll like to give them baths, belly rubs, toys! And treats! Go for a walk! Cats well whatever the cats would like to do haha.

About: What matters most to me is building a genuine connection with every animal I care for. I take the time to know your pet: their quirks, comfort zones, their little routines, and especially their emotional needs. Whether they’re shy, high-energy, or just set in their ways, I approach each pet with patience, empathy, and care. One of my most memorable experiences was caring for a very territorial dog in Australia. When I first arrived, he growled at the door. But after two weeks of calm presence and consistent love, we became the best walking buddies. It’s about trust, connection, and creating a safe space. I don’t have pets of my own right now, which makes every opportunity to bond with yours even more special. I offer lots of updates and photos (because I *know* how much that matters!) and treat your home and pet as if they were my own—with care, respect, and heart. I’m also lucky to have a close friend who’s a former veterinary assistant, so I always have a trusted resource when it comes to navigating pet behaviors or minor concerns. You can rest easy knowing your pet is in gentle, experienced hands. Depending on the location, I always incorporate walks on my work lunch breaks. If I am unable to do that, I make sure to have one long walk every morning before I leave for work and take them out as soon as I get home prioritizing our outside time. Sometimes I take them out 3x in a day depending on my energy level and theirs! When caring for pets in a client’s home, my top priorities are keeping their routine consistent, making them feel safe, and creating a calm, loving environment. I follow all instructions closely—whether that’s feeding schedules, medications, walks, or special needs—and I always take time to understand each pet’s unique personality. I respect their space, honor their routines, and take the time to bond with them so they feel comfortable and cared for while their family is away. For pets who are shy or anxious, I offer extra patience and reassurance, never forcing affection but always offering it gently. For more energetic animals, I love being an adventure buddy—whether it’s walks, playtime, or mental stimulation.

“My dog is a senior dog with a number of health issues. She was also born deaf which means her care can be tricky. This was the first time I have left her and I was very nervous about the whole experience. Nicole was very good with her, sent me updates to let me know how she was doing. She is a responsible and caring person.”

8. Nicole N.
“🐶 Your Pets Will Love Nicole (and Probably Want to Move in With Her!) 🐾 If you're looking for someone who will care for your pets like they’re her own, Nicole is the one. She’s based in Chilliwack, and is one of the most warm-hearted, trustworthy people you could ask to look after your furry family members. Nicole is a proud dog mom to her sweet pup Jasper, so she truly gets what it means to trust someone else with your pet. She knows how important it is to keep pets happy, comfortable, and safe. Whether it's a quick walk around the neighborhood, down by the river, or a full weekend of pet-sitting. She has such a calm, gentle way about her that animals pick up on right away. Dogs and cats just seem to know she’s a good person. They relax around her, trust her, and always come back from their time with her happy and well cared for. What really sets Nicole apart is how attentive she is. She listens closely to your pet’s routine and personality, sends thoughtful updates (usually with adorable photos!), and always goes above and beyond to make sure everyone (both pets and humans) feel at ease. With Nicole, you’re not just getting a sitter or a walker. You’re getting someone who genuinely loves animals and treats every pet like part of her extended family. Your pets will be in the best hands with her.”
