“Jenn was a wonderful pet sitter - very responsive, sent us lots of pictures and updates, and clearly loves animals. I would definitely book with her again. Thank you Jenn!”
“Janice was great with our cat Coco, and very easy to work with. She made some extra visits while we were away to make sure Coco was eating. Good communication and a very nice person.”

“Fantastic person and petsitter! We went away in Oct 2024 and Chelsea did 10 drop in visits everyday we were gone. She did all requested tasks and went above and beyond. She was friendly with my cat and rabbit and both liked her. We especially liked the daily report cards and communication with her. We would definitely choose her again and liked the whole Rover experience.”

“Tanis took amazing care of my cat while I was on vacation. She followed all instructions carefully and made sure he got his food, treats, and all his supplements every day. She was very caring and clearly looked after his comfort and wellbeing, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. I truly appreciated her updates and the level of care she provided. I’d definitely trust her again and highly recommend her.”

“Aleena was fantastic with my senior dog khloe. This was the first time I’ve had anyone watch her, other than family members and I was very impressed. Khloe is very shy and timid but Aleena was able to get out her to do her business and feed her dinner plus medication. Aleena was on time and very professional, great sitter.”

“Angela was so confident when I let her know that Josie wasn’t feeling her best and might need medicine during their time together. It’s such a relief to be away and know that your pet is in capable hands!”

About: I grew up on a farm around a variety of animals such as chickens, cats, dogs, horses, cattle and more. A lot of my animal knowledge is passed down from family and generational experience. I have a lot of free time so I am able to take care of your furry family with as much care and attention as you need. Each pet requires different care depending on species, age, health, etc. Any special requests for the care of your furry friend will be taken seriously. I will always try to leave your home cleaner than I found it.
About: I love spending time with pets and have been taking care of three dogs since I was a child. I have been pet sitting and walking dogs since the past few years and posses the experience and care necessary for the job. I'm an outgoing individual and have flexible availability throughout the week. I do accept same day bookings near my area as well. I can always spare time for my furry friends. I love taking my dogs on walk and I do that thrice a day. I also feed them multiple meals and I let them roam around the house without a leash. They are very obedient and playful dogs.
“I highly recommend Paula for your pet sitting needs. She does such an amazing job, it’s like I never left. I love the communication, messages, pictures and when I come home, my cats look so well cared for. Peace of mind to know that she will do an amazing job for the next time you book your trip away!”

“Andrea was very communicative and willing to go the extra mile despite a last minute booking. Her pictures and updates were great and she did a great job caring for our cats.”

About: Hi, I’m Shelby! Many of you know me as Xylo's mom ❣️ I have experience with reactive dogs, dog palliative care, special medical needs, and the happy dogs who love everything. I have undergone years of professional training with my first rescue dog, who was highly reactive after being attacked/abused, and he became the happiest boy he could possibly be! I have experience with and am happy to help give medications, or just stop by to top-up a water bowl & give a meal. If you trust me with your dog, whether reactive or not, I am very keen on helping your dog out with any behavioural or manner issues that you'd like worked on. I will never have your pet off-leash. I strive to bond with your dog and give only positive reinforcement on walks to keep your dogs trust while staying healthy, happy and enjoying our beautiful neighborhood! Thank you for reading my profile! Pet care fits into my daily routine perfectly because I make my own schedule. I will be available late afternoons & evenings only at this time. Subject to change. Your furbaby will be treated as if they are my own. My love for animals is exponential and I build a special bond with each animal that i'm entrusted with caring for. I take this responsibility very seriously. And if you'd like photo updates, i'm happy to oblige!
About: Animals have been in my life since I was little! From horses, to duckies, cats, doggos you name it. Being able to care for them however I can makes me so content. My last dog I had was 14 and a half and she was my family dog from when I was young and I took care of her solo for the last 8 years of her life and she was my bestest friend. Now I have two kitties I love and care for and am so willing to be able to help and support whoever needs that for their furry friend. :) I work part to full time at a restaurant that's a 3 minute walk to from home. So if I need to go home on a break and let the pet out to do their business or a quick walk it's easily accessible. I live near great parks and also have a big back yard. If there needs to be a designated day for the pet, my schedule is flexible and I can book days off when needed or switch days around if need be. The hours will very rarely go past 6 hours. If so I can let my current job know of other priorities with a bit of notice. I have two very friendly kitties who are familiar and comfortable with dogs. I have an open concept house on the top floor and have a large fenced back yard with lots of room to run around. I am an organized and clean individual who takes pride in my home and also respectful and tidy when staying in any home that isn't mine.
About: Nicole and I share a lifelong bond with pets, having grown up surrounded by them. Throughout our adult lives, we've been dedicated pet owners, currently cherishing our 5-year-old dog, Bowser. From puppyhood, we've diligently trained him, and my work-from-home setup has allowed for ample time to prioritize his training and exercise needs. In addition to our canine companion, I have a rich history of caring for cats, involving tasks such as feeding, cleaning litter, and ensuring their safety outdoors, a responsibility I've carried since childhood. Nicole, on the other hand, has always had the joy of growing up with dogs. Our collective experiences form a foundation of pet expertise, and our shared passion for animals is reflected in the years of dedicated pet care we bring to Rover. As dedicated artists working from home and committed dog parents, Nicole and I seamlessly integrate our flexible schedules to prioritize your furry companion's needs and well being. If you'd like, my wonderful dog Bowser is eager to keep your pet company during walks or visits. I love exploring different environments, so we can hit the trails or stroll through town, depending on what your pet enjoys. Making sure bathroom breaks are on a regular schedule is a top priority for me. I'm also a fan of training and playtime, so I'll gladly tend to any other needs your pet might have. I'm here to tend to your pet's specific needs, so you can feel at ease knowing they are in good hands with their new friend.

Jenn was absolutely fantastic! She went above and beyond anything I expected and cared for my cats as if they were her own. One of my cats is very shy, and Jenn was so patient and intentional in earning his trust and he warmed up to her faster than he ever has with anyone else, which honestly says everything. Her daily updates were thoughtful, detailed, and always included great photos that gave me total peace of mind while I was away. You can truly tell how much she loves what she does and how dedicated she is to the animals in her care. She also handled everything so professionally when one of my cats got a bit too curious and another got sick…she cleaned it all up right away and even went out of her way to ask about carpet cleaner so she could do an extra thorough job. That level of care and attention meant so much. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jenn to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate, and attentive sitter. She will 100% be my go-to from here on out!

Shelby is absolutely amazing! It’s always hard for me to leave my cats at home when I go on vacation because I worry so much, but I felt completely at ease with them in Shelby’s care. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.
Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or travelling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer poop breaks during a Chilliwack stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover based on what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Chilliwack choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
