Her daily updates were thoughtful, detailed, and always included great photos that gave me total peace of mind while I was away. You can truly tell how much she loves what she does and how dedicated she is to the animals in her care. She also handled everything so professionally when one of my cats got a bit too curious and another got sick…she cleaned it all up right away and even went out of her way to ask about carpet cleaner so she could do an extra thorough job. That level of care and attention meant so much. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jenn to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate, and attentive sitter. About: I grew up on a hobby farm so animals have always just been part of my life. I have had dogs my whole life and just recently said goodbye to my beloved 17.5 year old poodle. Previous to that I had a Chihuahua with a spinal injury and said good bye to her at 14.5 years old. I know firsthand what it means to love a dog through every stage of life, including the senior years. I am patient, easy going and genuinely just love dogs. I have a soft spot for senior dogs and know how to care for them with the extra time and gentleness they need. I share my home with fish and caged birds and I am based in Chilliwack. Whether your pup is young or old, shy or social, I will make sure they feel right at home while you are away. 🐾 I work Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, so mornings and evenings are dedicated to walks, feeding and any special care your pup needs. Before I head out for the day I make sure every pet is fed, walked and settled, and when I am home in the evenings it is all about them. Weekends are wide open and I love spending that time outdoors so your dog will always have someone to adventure with! Please note that your pup will need to be comfortable spending a few hours alone during the day and be relatively calm in the home. I want to make sure every dog in my care feels relaxed and settled, and that my neighbours are happy too! I live in a secure apartment building so you can rest easy knowing there is no risk of your pup slipping out a door or gate. We have a great walking area right around the building for bathroom breaks and I love getting out for longer walks in the neighbourhood too. Your dog will always be on leash when we are outside, keeping them safe at all times. Inside, I have a kennel available if your pup feels most comfortable and secure in their own space, as well as plenty of cozy dog beds around the apartment so they can settle in wherever they feel happiest. Your dog will always have a warm, comfortable spot to call their own while they are with me!

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and for the past year and a half, I've been lucky enough to turn that passion into daily dog walking and care. Whether it’s getting pups out for a fun, enriching walk or making sure they get love and attention while you’re away, I’m here to ensure your dog feels safe, happy and cared for. Some love adventure and long walks, while others need a slower pace or a little extra patience - and I’m happy to adjust to whatever makes your dog comfortable. I’m also experienced with some leash training and helping nervous dogs feel at ease. I have my current pet first aid certificate so I’m prepared to handle unexpected situations calmly and confidently. I keep pet parents in the loop with regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pup is in good hands. Looking forward to meeting you and your pup! I provide full time pet care, so I have availability throughout the week, Monday to Friday. I also have some availability on weekends for pet sitting. I am unable to provide pet care services at my home. However, I am happy to provide pet sitting services at your location where your dog can feel most comfortable.

About: I grew up on a farm around a variety of animals such as chickens, cats, dogs, horses, cattle and more. A lot of my animal knowledge is passed down from family and generational experience. I have a lot of free time so I am able to take care of your furry family with as much care and attention as you need. Each pet requires different care depending on species, age, health, etc. Any special requests for the care of your furry friend will be taken seriously. About: I am an experienced dog walker and cat/dog sitter from Chicago, IL! I worked with a private dog walking company as well as providing many years of cat and dog sitting to clients in my neighborhood. I am studying animal welfare at UBC and getting my PhD in dairy cattle welfare, so I am very passionate about animal behaviour and wellbeing. I own two wonderful cats and have worked in a cat clinic administering medicine in the past. I have lots of experience reading cat behaviour and providing companionship for them! I additionally volunteered as a dog walker at a shelter in Chicago for years and was trained on how to walk dogs with behavioural issues. I would love the opportunity to be around dogs more, as I can't have one with my two cats, and am away from the dogs I used to sit in Chicago! I am a current grad student so I have extreme flexibility! I can make almost every day or time work for checking in on or walking your pet. I am someone who cares about safety and wellbeing over all else (hence the animal welfare PhD!) and will make sure your pet is safe and happy.
