“Holly did a wonderful job of caring for our cats and feeding our fish. She took lots of photos and videos. I was able to enjoy my trip because I knew Holly had things covered! We have used her twice now and will absolutely use her again. Thank you!!”
“At the 1st meet and greet, Victoria and Kurtis were very helpful in getting our 1 dog, Rosie, to warm up quicker than usual! they are both knowledgeable, and experienced with many different dog situations, They were both eager to learn their routines, schedule, and behaviours, which helped make me feel comfortable leaving our 2 dogs. I would highly recommend and will be rebooking! Thanks, Victoria and Kurtis!”

About: Hi! I’m a dedicated animal lover who truly enjoys spending time with pets of all personalities and energy levels. Whether your dog needs a long walk, a fun hike, or just some company while you’re away, I’ve got it covered. I have experience with high-energy dogs (I have one myself 😅), so I understand the importance of exercise, structure, and patience. I treat every pet like my own and always make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. You can expect reliable care, lots of love, and photo updates so you never miss a moment 🐾📸 I’ve been riding horses since I was five years old, i currently have 2 cats, a puppy, 2 goats, and a bunny so I am very comfortable with most animals. My daily routine revolves around caring for animals, and I genuinely love what I do. I’m flexible and available for drop-ins, walks, and in-home care throughout the week. Whether you’re at work or away on vacation, I’m happy to make sure your pets are cared for, exercised, and getting lots of attention. While I’m unable to host pets in my home (I have two cats and a very energetic puppy), I take pride in providing reliable, respectful care in your home where your pets are most comfortable. I treat every home and pet like my own—keeping routines consistent, following instructions closely, and making sure your pet feels safe and stress-free while you’re away. Communication is important to me, so you’ll always get updates and photos!

“Ashlie took care of my dog when my care for him fell through last minute. She was so attentive to my many instructions, and he was in good spirits when I returned home. I put a lot of trust in her and she completely came through for me and Goose ?”

Pet care fits easily into my routine. I have a flexible schedule and i can make time daily for walks, feeding, playtime, attention, and companionship. I follow each pet’s routine, providing feeding, walks, playtime, fresh water, and attention while ensuring their safety, comfort, cleanliness, and happiness. I would love your pets like mine
“Taylor was very attentive with my little man. Properly administered his medication, played with him and made sure his needs were met. I came home to my little man looking happy and excited vs. Upset that I left him alone. Would definitely recommend and even rebook with her in the future.”

About: Currently volunteering at the BC SPCA I've also owned and taken care of dogs as long as I can remember from puppies to seniors (my oldest dog living to be 15 and all the care that requires) Training my pups up to be respectable companions and making sure they get all the exercise they need. I still frequently sit for friends and families dogs and I decided this could be a good first step to a career with animals. I'm currently volunteering at the SPCA. Beyond the time I spend there I have all the free time in the world and hope to spend it taking care of your pets I have a decent size yard for your pet to run around in and would follow all instructions and guidelines any clients would have. Taking care of a friend's puppy recently has made me very aware of things to keep clear of him and to keep him clear of in my house. I'll always be sure to run and play all the energy they have out of them so they're too tired to misbehave.

About: Hi there! I’m Emilie, and I’ve always had a special place in my heart for animals. I currently live with my big, fluffy Maine Coon cross, Ace, and my sweet, chubby tabby, Louie. Growing up with pets and having a long history of taking care of other people’s pets has given me over 10 years of experience in dog-sitting and house-sitting. I truly enjoy every moment spent caring for animals. I’ve had the pleasure of looking after my boss’s golden retrievers while he’s away on business, and I also help out a coworker with her pets when she’s out of town. I’ve spent time volunteering and working at an animal shelter, where I learned even more about animal care and developed a deep understanding of their needs. I’m experienced with special needs animals and seniors, and I’m comfortable administering medications to both dogs and cats. Plus, I know dog first aid, so you can trust that I’ll keep your pets safe and well-cared for, no matter what. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends! I am currently working full-time, Monday through Friday, in an office setting. I am available on weekday early mornings or evenings for dog walks/drop-in visits, and I am also available on weekends. I would love to spend time getting to know your pet(s)! I currently do not have the space to board your pet(s) at my place, however I am more than willing to housesit for you!
“Alexis provided great care for my cat Cleo! She provided daily updates and was very communicative. I felt completely at ease knowing that she was caring for Cleo while I was away. I would definitely recommend Alexis!”

About: My daughter and I are looking to help make your pets day better. We are highly active and excited to help out in any way. We would love at home visits, short or long walks. Even trail runs are on the table! I was raised on a hobby farm and comfortable with all dogs of any size. My daughter is ambitious and would like to get into dog sitting as she gets older. She is currently saving up to get her own goats. I will always be present and my daughter will only be there to help I recently sold a business and am now taking a few years to focus on my kids and helping out. My schedule is fairly flexible. Ideally my daughter will join me as much as possible. She loves animals and pampers them as much as possible. There is nothing she wouldn’t do for your dog. We have a fenced yard where our dog runs around. He spends most of his time indoors though. We live on a half acre so lots of room to run around and play.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Abbotsford
Maelyn was great with Pacho. He is a senior who can sometimes be a bit stubborn and just needs someone who can be patient, as all he likes to do is sniff and roll around in the grass lol. He seemed comfortable with her and she did great following instructions, and communicates great! Would highly recommend her!

Muskaan was fantastic during the drop-in we scheduled for Guero. She responded quickly to our inquiry, took the time to do a meet-and-greet, and arrived right on time for the drop in. She kept us well updated and took great care of our boy. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and responsible dog walker.

You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Abbotsford choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
