About: I’ve grown up around dogs throughout my childhood. I currently have a young dog of my own and have experience training with her. I am comfortable working with different breeds, sizes, and ages. I have previously volunteered with the SPCA. I work full-time four days a week currently but very early mornings. Evenings are very open and weekends as well. With enough advance notice I am able to work with your schedule. I have experience watching dogs in homes and can crate your dog if needed. I am active and love taking dogs for walks if you’d like. I am good with working with anxious dogs.

“James came to do a drop in for my 1yrold yorkie and feed him dinner. He let me know that my little guy wasn't doing very well, he hadnt been left alone for long before. He went above and beyond and stayed with John longer. I'm extremely grateful for the kindness he showed John by staying with him. He also came to do a meet up with John before time. I highly recommend him. Thankyou James for taking such good care of my boy!! I truly appreciate it!!”

“Taylor was so great looking after Felix !! He wasn’t feeling well when I left and she took extra care with him. Extra steps mixing his food and just checking on his poop and water intake. I wouldn’t have went so long on my trip but knowing she cared so much made all the difference. Felix bonded with her and you could tell by the videos he enjoyed her company and care. I will have her look after him again.”

Whether your dog needs a long walk, a fun hike, or just some company while you’re away, I’ve got it covered. I have experience with high-energy dogs (I have one myself 😅), so I understand the importance of exercise, structure, and patience. I treat every pet like my own and always make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. You can expect reliable care, lots of love, and photo updates so you never miss a moment 🐾📸 I’ve been riding horses since I was five years old, i currently have 2 cats, a puppy, 2 goats, and a bunny so I am very comfortable with most animals. My daily routine revolves around caring for animals, and I genuinely love what I do. I’m flexible and available for drop-ins, walks, and in-home care throughout the week. Whether you’re at work or away on vacation, I’m happy to make sure your pets are cared for, exercised, and getting lots of attention. While I’m unable to host pets in my home (I have two cats and a very energetic puppy), I take pride in providing reliable, respectful care in your home where your pets are most comfortable. I treat every home and pet like my own—keeping routines consistent, following instructions closely, and making sure your pet feels safe and stress-free while you’re away. About: Hi! I’m a dependable and passionate dog lover who treats every pet like family. I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your dog in someone else’s care, and my goal is to give you complete peace of mind while keeping your pup safe, happy, and loved. I currently work with a rescue out of Vancouver and have fostered many dogs over the years, including raising and caring for two litters of puppies. I have also fostered dogs who had never felt human touch, love, or even knew how to play. With patience, consistency, and a calm environment, I’ve helped them learn to trust and feel safe. One of my own dogs has played a special role in this process, helping teach foster dogs how to be comfortable, socialize, and simply enjoy being a dog. I also have two senior fur babies of my own, so I understand the extra care, patience, and attention older dogs may need. Their comfort, safety, and routine are always a top priority in my home. I’m very attentive to routines, feeding schedules, medications if needed, and any sensitivities your dog may have. Whether your dog needs walks, playtime, cuddles, or a calm and comfortable environment, I’m reliable, patient, and committed to providing the highest level of care. You can expect clear communication, regular updates, and lots of love for your furry friend. I take pride in being trustworthy, responsible, and someone you can count on. I’d love the opportunity to care for your dog and make them feel right at home! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work Monday to Friday during the day, but I am available after 3:00 PM on weekdays and have full availability on weekends. Caring for animals is an important part of my life, and I make sure to plan my schedule so pets receive consistent attention, exercise, and care. I’m reliable with routines such as feeding, walks, medication if needed, and providing a calm, safe environment.
“Alexis was amazing! She took such a great care of our cats, providing detailed information and pictures on the Rover cards after every visit. The cats felt comfortable with her since day one, and it's noticeable that she cares about them.”

About: ***Currently only accepting house-sitting, and drop in visits!**** My experience with big dogs includes pitties, cane corsos, great danes and rotties; big dogs are a joy - my only requirement is that they are adequately leash trained. I am great with cats (I have a princess of my own) and am pretty good at relaxing stressful kitties. I also have experience with reptiles if that is something you're in need of! All (cat friendly) dogs are welcome here! I am home full time, so walks come often in whatever quantity your furry friend needs! Dogs have full run of the home, and leashed + monitored access to a patio surrounded by trees. Cuddles are freely given and the couch and bed are free real estate. (I have special place in my heart for yorkies and pitties. ) I have experience with collies, pitbulls, and plenty of dogs in between! Dogs must be cat friendly (or willing to ignore) There's a lady in the house! Currently I am studying at uni part time, so I am pretty flexible, as long as I have a day or two's notice to fit it in my calendar! I have experience with a wide variety of dogs, cats (and reptiles!) from the puppy stage to senior fur babies. I can administer oral medications if that is something your pet needs.
About: I’ve always been around furry companions through out. I understand the importance and peace of mind over finding a loving home for our fur babies when we are not around. I currently have a 2 year old ragamuffin cat; He’s leash trained and goes for walk with me also by riding on my shoulder. I understand the importance of enrichment and very mindful about keeping them active, trained and entertained. I have also raised 3 cats and a dog even during their senior years and litter trained their kittens as well. I live and work in Abbotsford. I’m available throughout to provide attentive care, whether it’s for boarding, a walk, a drop-in visit, or overnight stay. For boarding, to make sure the pets get along, I do have seperate rooms until they get along. For walks, I take careful precautions to keep pets safe while ensuring they enjoy a good, stimulating walk. During drop-in visits, I make sure they get attention, playtime, and care as it fits naturally into their day. I provide care in the pet’s own home, following their usual routine and engaging with them according to their activity needs.

We love Emilie! Emilie has walked Nala many many maaany times while I am at work. After each visit she sends me a message about what they got up to & a lot of photos. She is able to handle my dogs many quirks 🤣 I know Nala is in good hands when she is with Emilie. Thank you!!!

Maelyn was great with Pacho. He is a senior who can sometimes be a bit stubborn and just needs someone who can be patient, as all he likes to do is sniff and roll around in the grass lol. He seemed comfortable with her and she did great following instructions, and communicates great! Would highly recommend her!

Muskaan was fantastic during the drop-in we scheduled for Guero. She responded quickly to our inquiry, took the time to do a meet-and-greet, and arrived right on time for the drop in. She kept us well updated and took great care of our boy. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and responsible dog walker.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or travelling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer poop breaks during a Abbotsford stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover based on what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Abbotsford choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
