About: I’ve had pets (dogs, cats, fish) since I was 2 years old. Since I was 9 I’ve been looking after other people pets as well. I currently have a Burnese mountain dog and golden retriever cross. She’s the sweetest thing in the world, and I walk her at least twice a day, feed her, and make sure she gets the play time and attention she deserves. I have the availability to give pets the attention, time, and care that they need in order to be happy and content. All pets need a little bit of playtime, love, and intentionality.
About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have 4 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. Raising my own reactive quarantine pup taught me patience, structure, and positive reinforcement. I helped her become calmer and more comfortable around people, animals, and busy environments through consistent socialization and exposure training. I’m attentive to each dog’s unique personality and committed to providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment while you’re away. I am currently working part-time while focusing on online classes, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive pet care. I prioritize keeping pets comfortable by following their normal routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions provided by owners. I always make sure pets have fresh water, a clean environment, and lots of attention while in my care.
“Randona was so engaged with Romi, keeping me informed and sending beautiful pictures and videos! She was punctual and courteous, paying special attention to our new 10 week old kitten. Her report was very thorough. Would highly recommend!”

About: I love animals! I’ve had pets my entire life and have regularly cared for so many different pets for friends, family, and others. I have extensive experience with both cats and dogs, including administering medication, supporting senior pets, managing physical ailments, and following specific food restrictions. I understand how important it is to feel confident your pets are safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. When I travel, I want that same peace of mind for my own cats, and I strive to provide that same level of care, safety, and security to every pet I look after. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I work a flexible schedule with a mix of in-office and work-from-home days. On days I work from home, I’m available in the mornings and throughout the day, and I can bring my laptop with me if needed. On in-office days, I’m happy to stop by before work and again after, and if a pet requires extra care or visits, I can often adjust my schedule or leave work early. As long as I have some advance notice, I’m able to plan ahead and make sure each pet receives consistent, attentive care. I offer in-home pet sitting, so I come to your home where your pet feels most comfortable and secure. I follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medication, litter box care, playtime, walks (if applicable), and plenty of affection. I’m happy to accommodate any special instructions or preferences and adjust my care to meet your pet’s individual needs. My goal is always to provide calm, reliable care that helps your pet feel safe and stress-free while you’re away.
About: I grew up on a small farm in Germany surrounded by animals, including dogs and cats. I cared for my own dog for over 14 years, including her senior years, and learned how important patience, routine, and paying attention to the small changes in an older pet can be. I enjoy spending time with animals, whether that means going for walks, feeding them, playing with them, or simply keeping them company. Every pet has its own personality, and I try to adapt to what makes them feel comfortable and relaxed. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pets and your home in someone else’s care. I’ll look after them responsibly, treat them with kindness, and keep you updated while you’re away. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give your pets the time, attention, and companionship they deserve. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping them company, I enjoy making sure they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away. I always do my best to accommodate each pet’s routine. I understand that every pet has its own routine and personality, and I respect that. I carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, medication, and daily habits to keep your pet comfortable and stress-free. I treat every home with great respect, keep it clean and secure, and provide regular updates so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind.
About: I have a deep love for animals and for treating them with love and respect. I am patient, kind, and fun. Growing up, we had many kittens and puppies that we raised and nurtured to be fine adult cats and dogs. I’m currently transitioning from a high pressure corporate career to a more relaxed and peaceful phase and have lots of time available for pet sitting, walking and checking in. I’m available most days and evenings, including weekends. I can care for pets in their homes, I am conscientious of what pet parents require. I appreciate clear communication. I’m also happy to care for elderly pets or those who require special attention.
“I would highly recommend Natalia !! The was our first time leaving our small dog Zoe. Natalia was so caring in her approach with Zoe and keeping us updated with how she was doing. We would definitely book Natalia again when needed!”

“I recently booked Darlee to care for my newly diagnosed diabetic cat, and we couldn't be happier with her service. She showed genuine care and took the time to understand my cat's specific needs, including monitoring her insulin levels and diet. Her patience and experience with pets, especially those with medical conditions, were evident. Darlee provided regular updates, ensuring I was informed about my cat's well-being. Both me and my husband highly recommend her to anyone in need of a compassionate and knowledgeable pet sitter. Thank you, Darlee for your outstanding care!”

“Antaress was amazing with our puppy , she was punctual and professional. Completed all the tasks of walking and feeding our pup and submitted progress photos for our peace of mind while we were at work. She was trustworthy and respectful to our home and we would definitely request her services in the future!”

“Dominique provided drop in visits for our cat while we were away and we would definitely recommend her. She is reliable, quick to respond, and respected our cat’s needs.”

About: I grew up with two dogs, two cats and 5 reptiles, and have always loved animals! Now, I have three dogs of my own, all rescued. I've gained a lot of experience training my dogs myself, but I've also worked with a number of professional trainers who specialize in dog behaviour and reactivity. This experience has not only helped me better understand and manage my own dogs' behaviour, it has also led me to find my passion for working with animals and their humans to help them live their best lives together! I have completed The Dog Walker Certificate and The Daycare & Boarding Management Certificate through The Good Dog in Port Moody and believe in positive reinforcement training. It's important to me that your dog always feels safe in my care. I also love taking photos, especially of dogs, and have worked with local rescues to photograph some adoption events. Please let me know if you're interested in a pup portrait so I can bring my camera along on our adventures! (1 free pet portrait with a professional camera per walk booked) I'm currently doing shift work and have a very flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate for your dogs needs! I will have my calendar updated but feel free to message me as I might be able to accommodate one walk on some days I work! At this time I can't take care of dogs in my own home as one of my dogs is reactive to new dogs. But I'm happy to do drop in visits! Whatever the dog needs during the drop-in whether that's that's medication administration, feeding or just a snuggle on the couch!
“Hilary was great! She was able to get our kitty pilled everyday for his medication and followed our kitties special food process. Very thankful for her to be able to accommodate us when our original sitter fell through. Thank you!!”

“Great visits by Ran 2 days per week and twice per day. Ari really loves her visits and playtime. They play fetch the ball and soccer which is his passion. She also feeds him, a very picky eater, and he loves it. She keeps him nicely exercised and makes things easier for all of us. Thanks Ran - really appreciate your TLC for our little guy !!!”

About: I love dogs and always put them first when I’m with them. I have ample experience, previously living with 4 dogs (2GSD, 2Shih Tzu) in my family home. I also had a bearded dragon which has taught me new care taking skills. With my GSD who passed, she had an acute kidney injury, I had to place special attention to medication, offering sub Q fluids, special meal plan, as well as partake in many reactivity training due to her behaviour. I also supported rescuing and training a pitbull who is happily living on Vancouver island. I currently live with my own beautiful pup Maloui, a 1 year old King Charles cavalier. I have pet sat for my friends cats and overall am just a huge animal lover. I meet them with patience love and affection. I am currently on medical leave due to burnout recently moved to the Langley area. This is a great method of therapy, allowing myself to earn an income while I progress back to work. My schedule is completely open. I would happily set up a regular schedule for check ins and more if you prefer drop ins! I have a lot of experience with training styles, if you would like your dog crated, support potty training etc. I will ensure to keep your home clean as you expect and maintain the habits you are working towards with your fur baby.

Randona was amazing with my boyz. They were so relaxed when I got home, made me feel not quite so bad for leaving them. Randona is a great communicator & sent me daily reports with pics. I will definitely recommend Randona to my friends & I will definitely use her again when I go away next March. She was a real 5 star find!

Hilary has been fantastic every time that I use her for cat sitting. She always puts my mind at ease. And I had to extend my time, and she was more than willing to keep looking after the cats even with short notice. She's always thorough in all the instructions

Brad did an excellent job! Besides being amazing with Kami, he's super responsible, punctual, detail-oriented, and a really good person. He truly exceeded our expectations by far. He's definitely someone I'll contact whenever I need him. Brad, thank you so much for everything; you're a wonderful person! 😊😊

Jenny did a great job looking after my two cats. She communicated very well, letting me know when she was on her way and updating me with photos. She was also really helpful in explaining the app before booking with her. She is responsible and dependable. I would recommend her and will hire her again in the future! Thanks, Jenny

Amanda took the time to meet and get to know Nina ahead of coming over to care for her while we were away, making sure our pup felt safe and comfortable with her. Nina loved her immediately. We received pictures and updates every day and never for a second doubted the love and attention our little girl was getting. We highly recommend Amanda and look forward to hearing about Nina’s next visit with her! Jamie and Mark

Many thanks to Vivian for agreeing to do a drop-in on a short notice. She kept me updated with messages and photos as usual. Vivian also put my computer cables away from the kitties-much appreciated! I’m very happy with the service and attention to detail. I’ll continue to use Vivian’s petsitting service in the future.

You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Walnut Grove choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
