I'm retired so I am very flexible, my husband is also semi-retired, we both love walking for exercise and being outdoors, we occasionally do some travelling.

We live in a single family split level home, we are non-smokers, a fenced yard with real grass, are 5 minutes walk from an off-leash dog park, 10 minutes drive from Derby Reach which has a large off-leash dog park. Our favourite walks are Houston Trail, Brae Island, Fort to Fort, and Alouette River Dike.

I would prefer friendly dogs that are good on-leash walkers, won't dig up the backyard, won't chew furniture, are completely house trained, are used to getting their paws cleaned when they come in, are not aggressive toward other dogs or children, no drop-offs before 6AM, we are ok looking after cats as well.

Outdoor on-leash walks, we have off-street trails and nature nearby, play in back yard, go to off-leash park, throw ball, take for a river swim if appropriate

We've been pet owners for many years, most recently a Black Lab and Love Bird. Our house is empty now so we are available to care for, and love on your pet. We love walking rain or shine so might as well have some doggie company.

Deborah and Mark are such kind people and took great care of our dogs while we were away for an extended period. They treated the dogs like members of their family, and took them on daily outings. We were able to fully enjoy our vacation knowing our dogs were in their care. We will use them again in a heartbeat.
As first time users of Rover, we were pleased that Deborah and Mark immediately accepted our request to take care of Harper, our Golden Retriever, in their home for four hours while we attended a family event. Harper settled right away in their home and fenced backyard, and we felt comfortable leaving him in their care. We were pleased with photos they sent to us during his stay. We would gladly rebook with Deborah & Mark in the future and recommend them to others.
Absolute lifesavers! Deborah & Mark stepped in at the last minute and took amazing care of Milky. Communication was great, and we loved the photo updates. Milky clearly had a blast! Definitely coming back.
