“Shari and Richard were so kind and welcoming to our pup, Charlie, who can be very nervous. They are very experienced with dogs and made sure ours was comfortable, letting her adjust at her own pace. We got regular updates and photos, which we really appreciated. Charlie loved their outdoor space and had a great time running around. We would not hesitate to come back 🐾”

“Deborah/Mark- were excellent with Texas and had great communication with me through the entire stay. Lots of walks and play time with taking Texas to the dog park several times. The home was very clean and homely.”

“Connie has been an absolute fantastic and treat to deal with. Herself and her partner are so trustworthy and kind with our little guy. We drive an hour and a half to drop him off with them and I'd drive further just to know he's safe with them. 6/5 stars if I could give it”

“We feel so fortunate to have found Walter and Angela. They lovingly cared for our sweet Lexi for ten days. Lexi is a high energy big pup who went for lots of adventures (walks!). They kindly sent us photos while we were away, which was very reassuring. Lexi is looking forward to her next visit to Walter and Angela’s!”
“Wonderful first experience for both Ella and I. Randona gives consistent and transparent updates which provides a great level of comfort. Ella had a ton of playtime, new experiences, and new feline friends! Thank you!”

“Zohreh was fantastic, she sent lots of pictures and updates, took him on lots of walks and he quite enjoyed sun tanning in her backyard. I also love that she’s a vet tech, should anything go sideways while he’s with her. I would absolutely recommend Zohreh!”

About: Hi, I’m Robin! Lover of all animals and will treat your dog like a member of our family! I had cats and fish growing up and then moved on to dogs! I have 10 years of hands‑on experience raising my Boston Terrier from birth and caring for her through every stage of life, including her final battle with cancer. She taught me to be patient, playful, attentive, and deeply affectionate with every dog I meet. I’ve had the pleasure of taking care of my friends and family’s dogs, and know how hard it can be to be away from your little fur babies but also at the same time be able to enjoy some alone time. As a homemaker, I’m home all day, and ready to step in and be a welcoming, affectionate and safe provider when you’re away! Your dog will get ample time to play, walk or hike ( depending on your dogs abilities) relax, snooze, and of course, eat! We have a fenced in back yard, where they’ll be able to do their “business” whenever they need and a few parks within walking distance for some leisure time. I also have experience administering oral and eye medication. Being a homemaker, mom to a 19 yr old, and having no more of our own pets, your dog will be getting plenty of time, love & attention, and supervision throughout the day. My husband works from home and loves spending time with dogs too, so your pup will always have company. I live in a townhouse where your dog will never be far from my sight, not that many places to go lol. I live in a quiet neighborhood, where our backyard is fenced and not easily accessible to public. We have carpeted stairs making it easier to get up and down and a large carpet in the living room for them to roll around and scratch their backs!
“Percy had a fun time with Lu and Snowy at the stay over the weekend. Percy already had met Lu before and he was so happy to see her again. She really helped Percy’s stay comfortable and enjoyable!Of course Lu sent me pictures for updates throughout the day! Thank you so much Lu💕”

“Daisy had a good stay with April and her husband. I would absolutely recommend them to look after your fur Babe. It was great receiving the pictures of Daze while I was away and it also reassured me she was in great care. Thank you again for giving her a home away from home while I was away.”

“Bella stayed with Heather second time now. I can really tell that Bella enjoys her stay - second time she has recognized Heather and was so happy to see her dog as well!”

“Liz was an amazing sitter! Communication was easy throughout the stay and I felt more at ease with the updates as it was my dogs first stay. Definitely will be rebooking with Liz again. Thank you!”

“She took good care of Hubble. Kept me in the loop. She’s very nice, easy fast drop off and pick up. It was nice not needing to haul his crate. Just brought his food and leash.”

“The care that Nix provided for my one year old dog Roxy was top notch. She is knowledgeable about dogs and their nutrition, and also very passionate too. The communication between us was amazing - several updates and photos every day! Nix handled an unexpected overnight accident very well, and followed up with dog friendly food remedies to settle my dog’s stomach issues. When I came to pick up Roxy, she even had some homemade treats to send her home with! I would definitely book with her again.”

“Daisy and Paul are the absolute best! Leaving our dogs in someone else's care can be nerve-wracking, but with Daisy and Paul, we couldn't have more peace of mind. They truly go above and beyond to ensure our furry family members are happy, loved, and well taken care of. It's clear they have a genuine passion for what they do, and it shows in every detail. We are so, so grateful to have found them! Knowing our dogs are in such caring and capable hands makes all the difference. Thank you both for everything – you're amazing! Highly recommend their services to anyone looking for trustworthy and loving dog sitters.”

“I was worried about finding a sitter for our slightly anxious 6 month young puppy Misa, just a few days before a long weekend trip. I messaged Ran and she suggested a meet-and-greet at a park, which I appreciated. While we were away, Ran sent regular updates and photos of Misa which was very reassuring since this is the first time we’ve left her for an extended amount of time. It was clear that Misa was being well taken care of and had fun going on walks and playing with the family and their small dog. I would highly recommend Ran to anyone looking for great comfort, care, and patience for their fur baby!”

About: Hello! My name is Shadnay, and I’d love to experience this journey with you and your pup :) *NEW* CLIENT BOOKING GUIDELINES :) Daycare & boarding: Dogs must be around 30 pounds each to abide within strata by-laws! Rover doesn’t have these measurements for me to select prior to your search. There is some wiggle room on this considering height and hair volume, feel free to ask me about specifics! General booking guidelines: - if the pet profile questions haven’t been filled out, please send your booking request with a detailed message of what your pet(s) need - so we can figure out quicker if we are a good fit for the booking slot. About me: I have a clear understanding that every furry friend has their own uniqueness in temperament, triggers, and needs. My joy comes from learning them and providing the best care possible. I specialize in anxious & reactive dogs Including breeds and rescues who are still learning to navigate the world around them. My goal is to build their confidence in a safe and encouraging environment. All other temperaments are welcome, and loved just the same. Before finding Rover, I was successfully employed at various reputable Dog Daycare, and boarding facilities in Coquitlam and Port Moody where I started my training. From leading a pack of 80 dogs in an indoor and outdoor setting, to working with dogs who need individual attention. I’ve also worked with a private company based in Vancouver, demonstrating pack walks in off leash trails, and training under K-9 professionals during private walks with highly anxious/reactive dogs. A force free & positive reinforcement approach. A few weeks of customized care and attention will improve your dogs overall temperament and quality of life – feel free to reach out and discuss the specifics! I'm currently dedicated to taking care of dogs full-time, so they will get all my attention! My only other priorities during the week/weekend are my personal self-care appointments which allow me to show up fully for the pups, with my cup full! Each dog will have their own unique needs, and I spend a lot of time speaking with the parents to make sure those needs are met while they are away.

Ran was amazing with my dog Mishi, frequently updating me with the photos and videos of my dog the entire day- that was the best part. The large backyard was a big plus for my dog. All the dietary requirements were taken care of. And I was rest assured that Mishi is taken a good care of. I would recommend Ran a 100%

I cannot recommend Yuan T enough! This was our first time leaving JJ with a sitter, and we were a bit nervous, but Yuan T completely put our minds at ease. They were incredibly communicative, sending multiple photos and videos each day that showed JJ playing, cuddling, and looking perfectly happy. It was so reassuring to see how much love and attention they gave him. When we picked him up, he was calm and clearly well-cared for. It’s such a relief to find someone we trust—JJ already misses them! 10/10 experience."
We had a wonderful experience with Xiaoyan! They took excellent care of our puppy, Winter, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. They are reliable, understanding, and genuinely know how to care for dogs. It was clear that our puppy was well looked after, happy, and in great hands throughout the stay. We will definitely use their services again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter. Thank you for taking such great care of Winter!

From one dedicated Rover provider to another Randona is the absolute best along with her partner Marcus and her daughter ALL together provide such a loving, caring and supportive home for my Sadie, who has separation anxiety whenever I leave her. They are not just able to manage her anxiety but she thrives when we have to leave her. She is treated like one of the family and gets to go on adventures with them and when we receive daily photos/videos of her we can see how happy she is. Randona and her family have become Sadie’s home away from home and knowing that means so much to me and my kids. It allows us to enjoy our time away, knowing how well cared for she is ❤️ thanks so much! 🙏

Deborah and Mark are such kind people and took great care of our dogs while we were away for an extended period. They treated the dogs like members of their family, and took them on daily outings. We were able to fully enjoy our vacation knowing our dogs were in their care. We will use them again in a heartbeat.

Our Loki had an amazing 15-day stay with Liz. It truly felt like a home away from home for him. You can tell that Liz genuinely loves dogs, and it gave us such peace of mind knowing she was looking after our fur baby. Liz provided us with detailed updates regularly, which we really appreciated. We will definitely use Liz again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care for their dog.

I cannot express how happy and grateful I am that I found Daisy and paul. I have three adult standard goldendoodles, and due to a family emergency I needed immediate care for my pets. Daisy and Paul were flexible with booking time and length, allowing me to change my calendar as new things popped up. They gave me detailed information on what their rates cover, allowed me to see where the dogs are going to stay, and put my mind at ease with sending me pictures and daily updates on how all my babies are doing. I will absolutely book with them again.

I cannot recommend Shari and Richard enough! They watched my dog recently and did an absolutely amazing job. I received regular updates, and it was so clear that my dog Atlas was happy, safe, and completely spoiled with being able to run around freely in their huge yard!. It is such a huge relief to find someone so trustworthy and caring especially since this was Atlas’ first time with a dog sitter. Thank you again Shari & Richard for the very positive first experience for me and Atlas!

Kris was great from the moment I sent the request to when we picked up Milo! This was Milo’s first time staying with Kris & she was very thorough in asking about Milo’s care. She sent us updates & pictures. She was really easygoing when dealing with Milo’s extreme stubbornness & was so flexible with letting him do what was comfortable for him! Thanks Kris, it’s so much easier being away when we know Milo is being so well cared for 😊

Maxine was incredible to us and our Goldendoodle, Oakley. Maxine made us feel comfortable by updating us with pictures. Maxine had excellent communication throughout the entire process. She was very knowledgeable, kind, welcoming and caring of our dog. We know our Oakley was in such great hands and had such an amazing time!! We will definitely be asking Maxine again for her incredible services in watching our pup. We would highly recommend Maxine. Thank you so much again Maxine, for taking such good care of our Oakley!! 😄

Leaving our dog with Hanjoo was the best decision we made. She was prompt with communication, and gave 200% love and care. And lots and lots of walks and play time. We were able to travel without any worries and would definitely rebook for any future trips. Thank you Hanjoo!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
