“Jack had a great time staying with Chelsea and her dogs and other boarders. I appreciated Chelsea’s willingness to accept a lengthy last minute request when my usual sitter canceled. Her communication was great, she clearly cares for dogs, and her facilities are excellent. I would highly recommend her services to any of my family and friends.”

“Kris was so helpful! All questions I asked were answered promptly and clearly, and while Aniol my nearly two year old dog stayed at Kris's family home, he seemed to have a safe and comfortable experience! I was so grateful for updates in words and pictures! We will certainly bring Aniol to Kris's again.”

“Wei & Long were absolutely amazing. This was my first time booking on the Rover app, I was so happy to know that I left my 11 year old dog, Bella, with such wonderful people. I loved being sent daily updates with pictures and videos with how Bella was doing. I knew they were taking great care of my dog and I will definitely use Wei again!”

“Here’s the translation: It was Chai’s first time staying away from home, and we treated it as a trial run for a longer stay. Minerva was very open and kind about all our worries and questions, and she made sure to take care of Chai in every detail, always sending us updates and little news. Now Chai will be staying with her for 15 days, and we’re certain she’ll be extremely well cared for, with lots of love and attention.”

“Maverick was his usual happy and excited self when I picked him up at Leslie's home. I have made the food Leslie introduced him to, and he is loving it. I am interested in the changes in food will make to his health.”

About: I have a wide range of hands-on experience caring for animals . I’ve worked in barns as a groom, exercise rider, and stable hand, have volunteered at animal sanctuary’s and helped with adoption events and I also gained experience working at a dog and cat daycare and boarding facility. In addition, I’ve cared for many friends’, family members’ pets over the years. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your animals. I’m knowledgeable, reliable, and committed to providing every pet with safe, compassionate, individualized care. I’m happy to accommodate their needs. I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets and be someone you can count on whenever you need ! I have availability any day of the week and can always work my schedule around you! I’ve always loved animals and as a stay at home mom , I’m looking to make money where it fits I have a duplex like living situation . It’s a one bedroom home with a fenced back yard . The other person on the property owns two dogs as well but the yard is fenced off separately so there’s no contact . I have a 4 yr old German Shepard who’s a saint and has love for every creature:) he’s gentle and good with senior dogs, small dogs, large dogs , cats and anything in between. Respectful of boundaries but it’s also possible to have him go to grandmas house so if your dog doesn’t get along with others, that’s okay too!
“Rachael was awesome. Super communicative for the whole stay and really reassured us that our senior dog is well taken care of. Rachael sent us lots of photos and updates, and was always available to be reached out to. I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook her again and recommend Rachael to anyone who’s looking for a great sitter!”

“Sheila did such a great job watching my sweet puppy. She responded to my questions and requests in a timely manner and was so sweet and gentle with my dog. She also sent pictures and gave updates while I was gone. I will definitely call on Shiela again!”

“This was my first time booking with Lisa and my dog Cooper loved the experience. While we were away, Lisa kept us up to date on Cooper's daily activities with pictures and updates to make us feel comfortable that he was in good hands. Don't hesitate to book with Lisa, she is a professional and a true dog lover ! We will book with Lisa for our next trip 100% !”

“My senior dog is unaccustomed to being alone and I’m seldom without him because I work from home. When I needed to be downtown for an all-day conference, I was fortunate to find Jan on Rover.com. Jan instills confidence and assurance in the warm and professional way she communicates and conducts bookings. She was flexible about the drop-off time and very accommodating with Toby’s schedule. Full disclosure: I’m one of those annoying fretting pet parents who constantly worries about their dog so it is a big deal for me to leave him with someone else. By time our booking came around I had no qualms about leaving Toby with Jan. I wasn’t wrong because Toby thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with Jan (and Earl). Jan is experienced, intuitive and understands dogs (and people). She took excellent care of my boy. To reassure me, she checked-in throughout the day which was much appreciated. A bonus: Jan was a professional photographer before she retired so I received lovely candid shots of Toby for my image collection. I have no hesitation to recommend Jan and would definitely book with her again (both short and long term stay) as I’m sure Toby would be glad to visit Jan and Earl again.”
“Li is extra kind with our dog Cedric. He understands poodle’s behaviors and takes great care of them. He send timely updates, always responds very quickly. My dog is very active and energetic and he had much fun and went home satisfied and tired.”

“Shari and Richard were great with Gus! We received photo and descriptive updates, which made us confident that our dog was safe and happy. Shari and Richard are very experienced with dogs and we highly recommend trusting them with your pet.”
“What a fabulous, fur loving couple Denise and Paul are! I felt at complete ease leaving Katie with them. So many regular pictures and videos of them all playing, eating, resting, or being obnoxious! I could see Katie was having the time of her life! And sure enough, she didn’t want to leave when I got there! Thank you both again so much and I look forward to next time!”

About: Hi, I’m Robin! Lover of all animals and will treat your dog like a member of our family! I had cats and fish growing up and then moved on to dogs! I have 10 years of hands‑on experience raising my Boston Terrier from birth and caring for her through every stage of life, including her final battle with cancer. She taught me to be patient, playful, attentive, and deeply affectionate with every dog I meet. I’ve had the pleasure of taking care of my friends and family’s dogs, and know how hard it can be to be away from your little fur babies but also at the same time be able to enjoy some alone time. As a homemaker, I’m home all day, and ready to step in and be a welcoming, affectionate and safe provider when you’re away! Your dog will get ample time to play, walk or hike ( depending on your dogs abilities) relax, snooze, and of course, eat! We have a fenced in back yard, where they’ll be able to do their “business” whenever they need and a few parks within walking distance for some leisure time. I also have experience administering oral and eye medication. Being a homemaker, mom to a 19 yr old, and having no more of our own pets, your dog will be getting plenty of time, love & attention, and supervision throughout the day. My husband works from home and loves spending time with dogs too, so your pup will always have company. I live in a townhouse where your dog will never be far from my sight, not that many places to go lol. I live in a quiet neighborhood, where our backyard is fenced and not easily accessible to public. We have carpeted stairs making it easier to get up and down and a large carpet in the living room for them to roll around and scratch their backs!
“Bella stayed with Heather second time now. I can really tell that Bella enjoys her stay - second time she has recognized Heather and was so happy to see her dog as well!”

“This was the first time we worked with Sarah! Bruno and Bella loved her!!! They were so happy and comfortable, they made some new friends and had an amazing time. I loved Sarah communication, I felt like I could message her anytime and she was amazing with sending pictures and updates! We will Definitly be boarding with Sarah again!! Thank you so much”

“Daniel & Manuela were absolutely amazing! We were so lucky to find them and Hank loved spending time with their family while we were away. I especially loved getting the fun update photos and check ins while we were away. Dropoff and pick up were super smooth and we cant wait to book again when we go out of town.”

“We had such a great experience leaving our dog with them in their home. She was clearly so comfortable and well loved, and we got updates that made us feel totally at ease while we were away. Millie came home happy, relaxed, and very well cared for. We’re so grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to have her stay with them again—highly recommend!”

“Micheal took especially great care of my dog Scout who requires a bit of extra attention and understanding. He took the time to get her comfortable, responded promptly to any messages, provided pictures and updates. Would recommend to anyone looking for boarding!”

Rachael was awesome. Super communicative for the whole stay and really reassured us that our senior dog is well taken care of. Rachael sent us lots of photos and updates, and was always available to be reached out to. I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook her again and recommend Rachael to anyone who’s looking for a great sitter!

Jing and her family were absolutely amazing with our dog Nala. Nala was anxious to start but Jing was so patient and understanding through the initial transition period despite some accidents. She treated her so well I was almost worried Nala wouldn't want to come home! I would 100% recommend Jing to anyone looking for dog sitting or dog boarding and will definitely want to book with her again for our next vacation!

Peggy was great with our girl. I loved getting updates and photos about her day from Peggy. Peggy is very responsive. Our girl had a great time playing with the family dog. This was a trial overnight stay before our week long booking. I have no worries that our girl will be well cared for, won’t be lonely, or bored.

Mandy and her family gave meaningful feedback which allowed us to troubleshoot helping my dog adjust. They genuinely cared for our young dog beyond the basics. The long walks, lots of cuddles, calm reassurance, and two way communication were invaluable to us. Because of Mandy and her family, we were able to rest knowing our dog was in a caring home.

Arya had a great time with Jaeda over the long weekend when we were out of town. Jaeda and her friend took Arya along with their lovely black lab, Boomer, to their trailer at Cultus Lake holiday park. She kept sending us regular updates about Arya and shared photos and videos of her and Boomer having fun in the park. Thanks for the love and care Jaeda! We won’t hesitate leaving Arya under your care again in the future.

I am so grateful to find such a fine family to leave my beagle with.He has such high anxiety and emotional needs it was a relief to fine Carly and family.I didn’t worry at all while I was gone and came back to a well cared for cuddle bug. Thanks Carly!!!! He’ll be back I’m sure

We had a wonderful experience with Yuke and family. Floppy was clearly very happy and well cared for during his stay. We received photos every day, which gave us so much peace of mind. He went on long walks and explored new hikes and trails, and he also had plenty of playtime with the kids. It was so sweet that the kids even gifted him a toy. We will definitely drop Floppy off with them again when we go on a long vacation. Highly recommend. 🐾💛

What a terrific couple along with their 2 daughters. It couldn’t have been a better vacation for Bella a walk in the woods with both daughters and then later a swim in the ocean. Both things I’d love to do but can’t. Terrific. I hope this is the start of a long relationship. Thank you

We boarded our two dogs, Karma and Bentley, overnight with Rebecca, and everything went perfectly. She was friendly, professional, and made us feel comfortable right away. Her home has a nice yard, and both dogs came back happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. We’d definitely trust Rebecca again for future stays — highly recommend her to anyone looking for a safe, caring place for their pets.

We had such a wonderful experience with Micah! She took amazing care of Pixy, and went above and beyond to make sure she was happy and comfortable. Micah kept us updated with photos and messages, that gave us much peace of mind knowing Pixy was in such good hands.I highly recommend Micah to anyone looking for a kind, responsible, and caring dog sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
