“Shari and Richard were great with Gus! We received photo and descriptive updates, which made us confident that our dog was safe and happy. Shari and Richard are very experienced with dogs and we highly recommend trusting them with your pet.”
“We had the best experience with Walter and Angela! I was so nervous dropping my boxer off for a week but within minutes of meeting them both I felt so comfortable. My dog was clearly loved while I was away and had lots of attention. I also received picture updates which was amazing. I will be using Walter and Angela again without a question.”

“It’s Toby’s first time with Wei and Long, I can tell from the numerous pictures and videos they sent me that he was super happy during his stay. The moment I saw the couple and their place, I can feel right away that they are an awesome pet lovers. Highly recommended.”

“Daniel and Leyla were very patient with my skittish Daisy. They sent tons of photos and videos to show me how she was settling in so I was very confident that Daisy was happy and well cared for. I have already booked Daisy a future stay with them.”

About: Hi, I’m Robin! Lover of all animals and will treat your dog like a member of our family! I had cats and fish growing up and then moved on to dogs! I have 10 years of hands‑on experience raising my Boston Terrier from birth and caring for her through every stage of life, including her final battle with cancer. She taught me to be patient, playful, attentive, and deeply affectionate with every dog I meet. I’ve had the pleasure of taking care of my friends and family’s dogs, and know how hard it can be to be away from your little fur babies but also at the same time be able to enjoy some alone time. As a homemaker, I’m home all day, and ready to step in and be a welcoming, affectionate and safe provider when you’re away! Your dog will get ample time to play, walk or hike ( depending on your dogs abilities) relax, snooze, and of course, eat! We have a fenced in back yard, where they’ll be able to do their “business” whenever they need and a few parks within walking distance for some leisure time. I also have experience administering oral and eye medication. Being a homemaker, mom to a 19 yr old, and having no more of our own pets, your dog will be getting plenty of time, love & attention, and supervision throughout the day. My husband works from home and loves spending time with dogs too, so your pup will always have company. I live in a townhouse where your dog will never be far from my sight, not that many places to go lol. I live in a quiet neighborhood, where our backyard is fenced and not easily accessible to public. We have carpeted stairs making it easier to get up and down and a large carpet in the living room for them to roll around and scratch their backs!
“Connie was a true professional going above. Her meet and greet was truly extra! We felt safe leaving our post surgery dog with Connie. She also didn’t send our loved one to the pound when we were late picking up her up!! Much appreciated!! Highly recommend Connie to others.”

“Deborah/Mark- were excellent with Texas and had great communication with me through the entire stay. Lots of walks and play time with taking Texas to the dog park several times. The home was very clean and homely.”

“Another super amazing experience with Lu and Snowey! It always brings me joy to see how happy Auggie is when he arrives, and being away for a longer period this visit gave me some anxiety. Getting the consistent updates, and seeing videos where he was so happy, gave me so much peace. So grateful this meant I could enjoy my vacation!”

“Sunny was amazing with our dog while we were on vacation. He has separation anxiety, and she really went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable — adjusting to his needs and giving him extra love and attention when he got anxious. She sent us regular updates and photos, which really helped us relax while we were away. We would absolutely book with her again!”

“Gloria and Steven were sensational caregivers for my dog, Picolé. They were always sending me messages and always available to answer me. Furthermore, they followed all my instructions perfectly. And in every photo and video they sent me, I saw my dog happy and well-adjusted to his new temporary home. And as if all that weren't enough, they took and gave me professional photographs of Picolé, which turned out beautifully (I've never been able to take photos of him as beautiful as the ones I received). These moments will forever be kept in my heart. It is with great pride and complete satisfaction that I highly recommend the service they both provided to Picolé and me. I will definitely know where to leave my dog on my next trip. Gloria and Steven provided him with a home full of love, good care, and lots of affection and attention. Thank you so much for making it a wonderful experience!”

“Heather was amazing with Milo! She was also a great communicator and took marvelous care of my dog. She is friendly & caring and has such an understanding of dogs. I will certainly be using Heather's services again for Milo. Thank you Heather!”

“Allison took wonderful care of Jammy during her stay. She kept us updated regularly with photos, which gave us great peace of mind, and followed all of the care instructions we provided. Jammy got along really well with Ollie, and it was heartwarming to see them playing together. She had such a great time that she came home completely exhausted! It was wonderful to see how comfortable and happy she was during her stay. Thank you, Allison, for taking such great care of Jammy. We would be happy to book with you again!”

“Liz was very friendly and communicative, and she looked after Ronin so well, and sent me tons of pictures and updates! Which was amazing, no one has made me feel like my dog was so well looked after before! Ronin seemed to have a great time and he was not anxious at all when I picked him up, which is so rare for him. I will definitely re-book with her in the future.”

“I was a bit nervous leaving my dog for the first time with someone I didn't know. But, by the time I picked up Luna from the sitter, I wasn't sure she would want to come home with me. Jennifer made me feel so comfortable leaving her for the weekend and sent me pictures and updates. And their dog is now friends with mine. I would highly recommend using Jennifer and Steve.”

“My fur daughter, Laon has stayed with Paul and Denise for 10days. In the meantime, I could enjoy my vacation without any concerns because Paul and Denise kept updating Laon’s pictures and videos everyday. Laon is really picky and sensitive to other people and dogs but she has been doing well. She loves Paul and Denise and She is coming back to them soon if mommy and dad have any new plans. I highly recommend Paul and Denise’s care for dogs. I really appreciate to them ❤️”

“We loved all of the effort and kindness April and Greg showed to Buddy while he was over there. Buddy was argumentative on his walks, wanting to walk further then they intended to go. But they went which we love!! Buddy even said goodbye to them before we left which shows us he bonded with them l! We couldnt be happier with April and Greg and look forward to bringing Buddy over there again.!”

“We had a great experience with Randona. She took care of Nala very well. She was very prompt in her response and shared regular updates with pictures and videos. She took Nala for long walks and has a very good dog park nearby, which is very helpful. We were initially anxious as Nala had never stayed with cats, but, she was perfectly fine :). Highly recommended !”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
