“Shari and Richard were an excellent choice for boarding our small dog! We appreciated their fast response time, thoroughness, flexibility, and regular updates. They took excellent care, going above and beyond! 5 stars, highly recommend!”

“We feel so fortunate to have found Walter and Angela. They lovingly cared for our sweet Lexi for ten days. Lexi is a high energy big pup who went for lots of adventures (walks!). They kindly sent us photos while we were away, which was very reassuring. Lexi is looking forward to her next visit to Walter and Angela’s!”
“Deborah/Mark- were excellent with Texas and had great communication with me through the entire stay. Lots of walks and play time with taking Texas to the dog park several times. The home was very clean and homely.”

“We would like to say a huge thank you to Hyoungjin and Soyoung. You took such wonderful care of our dog. If Korok could speak, I’m sure he would be thanking you right along with us! We were away for several days, and Hyoungjin and Soyoung kindly agreed to host our dog. When we dropped him off, we brought a bag with treats, food, and some specific feeding instructions. They listened very carefully to everything we explained and took all of it into account. I’m confident that all of our recommendations were followed. Every day we received fresh photos and videos of our dog. It was so nice to see how he was doing, making new friends and happily interacting with everyone in the house. It was both funny and comforting for us, because we always knew what was happening with him. I can confidently recommend Hyoungjin and Soyoung as dog sitters. We truly appreciated their love for animals, their attentiveness, politeness, and the gentle way they interact with dogs. With them, your dog will not feel like just a guest — they will be treated like a beloved child: entertained, cared for, well-fed, and loved. In short, your dog will be very happy in their home. 🐶”

About: Hi, I’m Robin! Lover of all animals and will treat your dog like a member of our family! I had cats and fish growing up and then moved on to dogs! I have 10 years of hands‑on experience raising my Boston Terrier from birth and caring for her through every stage of life, including her final battle with cancer. She taught me to be patient, playful, attentive, and deeply affectionate with every dog I meet. I’ve had the pleasure of taking care of my friends and family’s dogs, and know how hard it can be to be away from your little fur babies but also at the same time be able to enjoy some alone time. As a homemaker, I’m home all day, and ready to step in and be a welcoming, affectionate and safe provider when you’re away! Your dog will get ample time to play, walk or hike ( depending on your dogs abilities) relax, snooze, and of course, eat! We have a fenced in back yard, where they’ll be able to do their “business” whenever they need and a few parks within walking distance for some leisure time. I also have experience administering oral and eye medication. Being a homemaker, mom to a 19 yr old, and having no more of our own pets, your dog will be getting plenty of time, love & attention, and supervision throughout the day. My husband works from home and loves spending time with dogs too, so your pup will always have company. I live in a townhouse where your dog will never be far from my sight, not that many places to go lol. I live in a quiet neighborhood, where our backyard is fenced and not easily accessible to public. We have carpeted stairs making it easier to get up and down and a large carpet in the living room for them to roll around and scratch their backs!
“Lu shared regular updates with us, lots of pictures and videos, at no point were we left wondering if everything is okay, really appreciate it! Our dog came home happy. 🙏🏼”

“Connie took such good care of our boy. She was very in tune with his needs and behaviours which gave us confidence that he would be well cared for. She sent lots of photos and detailed updates about their days and he was happy and relaxed when we picked him up. We’d recommend Connie to anyone looking for a sitter.”

“Wei&Long are amazing! Their service, professionalism and communication is outstanding I had so many concerns planning my vacation without Finley. He is attached to my hip going everywhere with me. They exceeded all my expectations keeping me updated with daily pictures and emails. His staycation was amazing and I was able to enjoy my holiday A huge “thank you” and will definitely be booking with them again”

“It was my very first time using Rover’s service so I was a little apprehensive. I arrived early and was still welcomed to drop off Bugz which was greatly appreciated. During the time Bugz was in the care I was fed photos of him looking very comfortable in his surroundings. Again a device that was not expected but certainly appreciated because it put my mind at ease about the care Bugz was receiving! All in all I was more than pleased with the service and care received during my initial use. I would recommend this person as a sitter or boarder and would have no reservations of using them again.”

“I kept Cocoa with Lisa and her kids for second time. She took excellent care of Cocoa for 8 nights, going above and beyond to ensure she was happy and healthy. She regularly sent me photos, keeping me updated, which gave me so much peace of mind. I was especially impressed by how attentive she was to Cocoa's ear infection. Cocoa was clearly in great hands, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book her services again. Thank you for everything Lisa.”

“Just amazing! I was so anxious to leave my pups for the first time. Paul and Denise made their stay so comfortable and homey. I could see how happy my pups were. They let pups free roam, no kennels, no anxiety. They provide so many pictures and updates, will 100% recommend. Thankyou so much to you both!”

“Olga was boarded by Steven & Gloria, they took a good care of her, she seemed very happy! Thanks for the pics and taking such a good care of her! We appreciate the tour of their place to see where Olga will stay and the communication from them was a 5 star!!”

“Elizabeth was so amazing with my dog!! The love and care she put into taking care of her was much appreciated and I’d recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

“Daisy had a good stay with April and her husband. I would absolutely recommend them to look after your fur Babe. It was great receiving the pictures of Daze while I was away and it also reassured me she was in great care. Thank you again for giving her a home away from home while I was away.”

“We had a great experience with Randona. She took care of Nala very well. She was very prompt in her response and shared regular updates with pictures and videos. She took Nala for long walks and has a very good dog park nearby, which is very helpful. We were initially anxious as Nala had never stayed with cats, but, she was perfectly fine :). Highly recommended !”

“Rachel and her husband are amazing, compassionate people. They took amazing care of Peanut, giving him lots of love and cuddles and helping him run his little heart out in their huge yard. They have an amazing doggy paradise! I got lots of adorable updates and Peanut and Winter got along great :) would 100000% leave Peanut with them again!”

“Margarita and her family are warm, friendly, and clearly love dogs! My senior dog was excited to meet them and seemed to really like them. Lolly was well cared for and we were given updates and photos. Thanks for making my first rover experience a positive one!”

“I was a bit nervous leaving my dog for the first time with someone I didn't know. But, by the time I picked up Luna from the sitter, I wasn't sure she would want to come home with me. Jennifer made me feel so comfortable leaving her for the weekend and sent me pictures and updates. And their dog is now friends with mine. I would highly recommend using Jennifer and Steve.”

“Christina watched our dog missy for 2 weeks while we went on vacation and we were Very impressed! With her service and care for missy needs she not only boarded and fed and walked her she gave us suggestions and shared her knowledge of training dogs as well as spent time connecting with her a training her. She is very knowledgeable in dealing with animals. She is the only person we will send our dog too. We Highly recommend her to anyone that cares about the well being of their fur baby.”

“Exceptional care for our fur baby! We left our dog, Charlie, with Oriana and her husban Jean for 10 days, and we could not have asked for a better experience. Leaving a pet for the first time and for that long can be stressful, but we were completely at ease thanks to the frequent updates and obvious love Charlie received. He had an absolute blast and was treated like family. It was so comforting to see and gave us peace of mind that our Charlie looking so happy and relaxed while we were away. We will definitely be booking again—Charlie already misses his home away from home! Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our boy!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
