About: I've owned animals of all kinds for my whole life, including dogs, cats, snakes, bunnies, and chickens. I am very comfortable with reactive animals and understand that each pet is different and unique! I love being around animals and ensuring they get the best possible care. I am currently working part time and taking university classes. However, I have plenty of time in the mornings and evenings (and sometimes all day) to take care of your pets! I am more than able to fit pet sitting into my schedule as well as my part time job is flexible. Whenever I walk a dog I ensure that they get plenty of time to smell around and get proper enrichment! For any pet sitting services, I am a diligent and kind sitter who will give your pet lots of attention while respecting their boundaries and routines.

About: I’ve taken care of friends and my own pets since I was young. Families rely on me for things like dog sittings, dog walks, and watching over their house and belongings. I love getting to know new animals and would love to meet your furry friend! I’m currently working part time until June 13th, then my schedule becomes wide open, so I could easily provide part time or full time care for your pets! I will always have good open communication with the home owners, so I can get to know regular routes and what kind of fencing or grassy areas they have nearby.

About: What sets me apart? I am confident with large dogs, including farm and guard dogs! I discovered a love for big dogs when my mum adopted a hound mix who grew to be a 120lb wrecking ball of dopey energy. I've had a soft spot for the big ones ever since, and take particular pleasure in befriending them. I believe communication between human and dog is critical. A person's body language and tone of voice can say more to a dog than words ever could. That means I physically get down onto their level for affection, I use positive reinforcement consistently, I talk with them throughout walks, and I keep an eye on their body language as well for signs of happiness, fear, apprehension, etc. I'm confident walking on city streets, in forests/on trails, and in off-leash zones. I just need to know what your pup is most comfortable with and we'll go from there! APRIL 1 - NOV 1 availability Mon - 12:30pm to 8:00pm Tues - 12:30pm to 8:00pm Weds - unavailable Thurs - 12:30pm to 8:00pm Fri - 12:30pm to 8:00pm Sat - 12:30pm to 8:00pm Sun - 6:00am to 8:00pm I work at my job most mornings so will generally not be able to accommodate morning requests. I am keen to operate within the parameters and routines you've established inside and outside your home, in order to maintain continuity for your pet. This includes checking in with you for specific command words, encouraged and discouraged behaviours and their corresponding rewards/corrections, social situations to work on or avoid, favourite routes, etc. Personally, my pet cat receives as much attention as I can give him. He is highly affectionate, so is usually parked on my lap or somewhere nearby. I used treats/positive reinforcement to train him to shake a paw and sit down. My great fear for my little guy, and for all pets, really, is that he is bored, understimulated, or lonely. Because of this, I pay special attention to making sure that he is being physically and mentally stimulated in addition to affection. That means exercise and puzzles! I love to find simple games whether we're outside or inside - find-the-thing, makeshift tunnels to run through (if you're brave), seeking out tiny forest creatures to discover, etc. I'm always looking for new brain games for dogs, so if you have a favourite, let me know!

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and have raised rescue cats for most of it, while also caring for dogs and other pets along the way. I love discovering each pet’s unique personality - whether they’re playful, shy, or somewhere in between. Your fur baby will be treated like royalty and my new little bestie, with plenty of love, attention, and affection. Think massages, gentle scratches, belly rubs (if invited!), and a calm, comforting presence so they feel safe, happy, and truly cared for while you’re away. You can count on me for reliable, responsible, and attentive care, with every instruction followed, your home respected, and regular updates with photos to keep your mind at ease until you’re back. I work from home 4 days a week, so can easily pop in a morning, lunch, after work, and/or evening visit or walk most days if you live in Maple Ridge or a neighboring municipality. I provide drop-in visits and short walks. I am communicative, will follow your instructions, and treat your pet(s) with the utmost care. It is important to me that your fur baby feels safe and loved, and you feel confident that your pet is being well-taken care of by someone who will shower them with love.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have 4 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. Raising my own reactive quarantine pup taught me patience, structure, and positive reinforcement. I helped her become calmer and more comfortable around people, animals, and busy environments through consistent socialization and exposure training. I’m attentive to each dog’s unique personality and committed to providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment while you’re away. I am currently working part-time while focusing on online classes, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive pet care. I prioritize keeping pets comfortable by following their normal routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions provided by owners. I always make sure pets have fresh water, a clean environment, and lots of attention while in my care.

About: I had a giant malamute who was very aggressive. Having to handle him for 8 years I can now handle any dog with any personality. I inherited an old shitzu from my grandma for 3 years. He was going def and blind, needed meds and help waking at the end. So I’m experienced for any type of dog situation. I also am comfortable rollerblading, running or riding a bike with a dog if they are really high energy and need more than walking. I now have another malamute. I love dogs so this is why I’ve cared for them for many years. I would do dog care full time if I made enough money to live. I part time nanny on the side. I come with tons of references including vet offices and Veterinarians , dog/homeowners and doggy daycares. I love the outdoors so being outside and exercising dogs isn’t like work to me. I enjoy it. Rain or shine. A lot of the dogs I look after need medication or special care because they’re very old I have a flexible nanny job so I am able to make almost anything work. I don’t need to be away from dogs for more than a few hours at a time. I care for them like I would my own dog. Make sure there’s fresh water, food , lots of exercise, attention ect. make sure gates/doors are closed
