About: Hi! I’m a caring and reliable pet sitter based in Burnaby/Vancouver 🐾💛 I have experience volunteering walking elder dogs & rescuing dogs, which has shaped the way I care for every pet—with patience, understanding, and a focus on helping them feel safe, calm, and loved 🐶✨ I specialize in small to medium-sized dogs with friendly, easygoing temperaments, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pup’s unique personality. I do not offer boarding in my home, but I am happy to stay in your home so your pet can remain in their familiar environment 🏡💛 This helps reduce stress and keeps their routine as normal as possible while you’re away. I always make sure your dog feels comfortable, secure, and well cared for in their own space, following your instructions and routines closely. Services I offer include: 🐕‍🦺 Dog walks – relaxed walks or more active runs depending on your dog’s energy level and needs 🌿 Drop-in visits – perfect for feeding, potty breaks, playtime, cuddles, and companionship while you’re out. I make sure your pet is happy, checked on, and never feels alone. 🏡 In-home care – staying in your home so your dog can stay in their safe, familiar surroundings with minimal disruption to their routine I’m attentive, calm, and genuinely committed to making sure every dog feels secure, loved, and happy while you’re away 💕 My availability is flexible and can vary depending on the week, but I always do my best to accommodate your needs ☺️. I’m open to mornings, afternoons, evenings, and even overnight stays when planned in advance. I value clear communication and will always confirm scheduling ahead of time so your pet gets consistent, reliable care 🗓️✨ Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority 🐾💛 I provide care exclusively in your home so your pet can stay relaxed in their familiar environment 🏡✨ I carefully follow all instructions, including feeding, walks, medications, and daily routines. I also ensure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure for your pet’s safety. I keep your home clean and respected as if it were my own, and I provide regular updates and photos so you feel at ease while you’re away 📸💬

About: From trout lake, china creek, pacific spirit park or any of Vancouver's lovely dog parks, I will happily take your dog to the park of their choice or a favourite hike of mine. For walks or boarding, 9am to 9pm. Subject to change based on their needs! I manage multiple dogs during my week, but I ensure excellent care and more than enough play time for all the dogs I care for. My home has strictly clutter free floors, cords are stowed away and organized, I live in a pet friendly apartment. I have a backyard as well.

About: Unable to have pets in my university dorm, but with the never ending love for them- here I am! I’d love to use my free time and breaks from class/studying to be outdoors and meet you and your pets! I love the rain, so walks can continue happily (-: We may have already met as I work at Bosley’s Brewery District in New Westminster! May course schedule along with work are not typically consistent, so I’d love to chat about specifics! I prefer mornings, which means I’ll also likely have time for evening walks- double whammy for those energetic dogs! I will also be utilizing public transit! About: Hi, I am Tanisha, and I have had pets my entire life.. I have always known dogs and cats as a special blessing on earth, so they deserve the best of everything. I take care of each pet based on their personality and preferences, and offer pet sitting, long or short walks, and boarding, as well as extended stays, and a lot of fun 😁 Caring for your pet, I will make sure that they will never feel lonely. If your dog struggles with separation anxiety or gets lonely easily, they will benefit from having multiple people around to give them attention and care and I live in a house with 4 of my housemates and plenty of space for your pet to move around and play. One of my pets once had five puppies, and I looked after them as they grew. They all turned out healthy and strong with the right care. I also have experience with senior dogs, some as old as 15 years. I understand the special needs of older dogs and are well-equipped to take care of them. Any specific requests for them? Let me know! and I will take care of it. Most importantly, safety is where you need not worry because that’s my priority. I Work part time in a chocolate company. So my schedule is very flexible. Your pet will have long and short walks tailored to their preferences, meals would be on time and lots of love. However, as mentioned they will never be alone because there’s 4 of us who all work park time. I live in a big house, so your pet will have lots of space to roam around and play; I also have a backyard and a front lawn with protected walls. Most importantly, we have created a home-like environment for pets so they feel comfortable in their own home.

About: What sets me apart is the love and genuine care I bring to every pet I look after. I take the time to really connect with animals — whether it’s earning the trust of a shy cat or giving extra comfort to a senior pet. I’m patient, gentle, and always tuned in to their needs. While I don’t have formal training, I’ve been around pets of all ages and personalities, and I always treat them with the same love and attention I would give my own (if I could have one!). I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, seen, and loved — and that’s exactly what I offer. I’ve always loved animals, and while I’m not able to have a pet of my own right now, pet sitting gives me the chance to spend time with them and care for them like they’re mine. Being around pets brings me so much joy, and I truly enjoy making them feel safe, happy, and loved as part of my weekly routine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their usual routine so the pet feels comfortable and secure. I pay close attention to their feeding schedule, playtime, and any specific needs like medication or brushing. I take time to bond with them, give them lots of love, and make sure they feel calm and cared for while you’re away. I always aim to leave your home just as tidy as I found it, with a happy pet waiting for you!

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
