I have been living in Canada for 2 years now, and because I am away from my beloved dog back home, I miss her terribly every single day. I want to channel all that longing, love, and affection into caring for the wonderful dogs here in Canada. Back in Korea, I made it a strict rule to take my dog out for walks every single day without fail, ensuring she always received abundant exercise, attention, and love. Beyond my own pet, I have extensive experience pet-sitting for my friends' dogs on multiple occasions. Whether it was for a short weekend or a longer stay, I provided dedicated, heartfelt care that left both the dogs incredibly happy and their owners completely satisfied and at peace. Over the past 2 years in Canada, I have also gained practical experience walking various breeds, including a high-energy Dalmatian mix and a Jindo mix. About: We are Brenden and Brooke. For the past 4 years we have been travelling and professionally stewarding properties around the world. We are commonly contracted with ranches, hobby farms, homesteads and household - some of which hold more than animal/dependant responsibility due to business operations running on the property. Over the years we have developed our service quality and specialized care as a professional couple. While traveling we organize volunteer experiences that increase our skills and knowledge in order to fulfill hosts and their animal's needs. This fuels our travels and we want to bring this lifestyle to Vancouver island as we network around the area. We pour our time an energy to the animals we are caring for, meaning we will be with them as much as possible over the course of our stay. We have lived in 10+ households with animals, with some experiences being up to 2 months. We will care for your animals as you would. We are able to carefully follow complex instructions. About: I’m a cat owner of three, with my oldest cat being 8 years old. I’m familiar with feeding raw, canned, and dry food, cleaning litter boxes, and spending time playing with cats. I also pay attention to their behavior and can send photo or video updates while you’re away. I currently have a very flexible daily schedule, so I am available for drop-in visits from 8 AM to 8 PM most days. If you have any special timing needs, please feel free to contact me in advance—I will do my best to accommodate. I take care of each pet based on their personality and preferences, and offer pet sitting, long or short walks, and boarding, as well as extended stays, and a lot of fun 😁 Caring for your pet, I will make sure that they will never feel lonely. If your dog struggles with separation anxiety or gets lonely easily, they will benefit from having multiple people around to give them attention and care and I live in a house with 4 of my housemates and plenty of space for your pet to move around and play. One of my pets once had five puppies, and I looked after them as they grew. They all turned out healthy and strong with the right care. I also have experience with senior dogs, some as old as 15 years. I understand the special needs of older dogs and are well-equipped to take care of them. Any specific requests for them? About: From trout lake, china creek, pacific spirit park or any of Vancouver's lovely dog parks, I will happily take your dog to the park of their choice or a favourite hike of mine. For walks or boarding, 9am to 9pm. Subject to change based on their needs! I volunteered with several rescue groups, assisting with foster care and adoption placements. Experience with cats I’m also a regular cat sitter in the neighbourhood. I’ve bonded closely with both senior cats and kittens, and I’m comfortable with shy or outgoing personalities. When I lived with a host family, the cats slept on my bed while the dogs played beside me—everyone was family. I am certified in pet first aid to ensure your pets stay safe in emergencies, and I’m always learning more about animal wellness. I currently share my life with my beloved Roni.
