“Judy came by with short notice to help me out while I was heading up to Whistler for a day trip. She came by to walk and feed Spider his dinner, plus hung out with him to make sure he had some fun before I got home :) I’ll book her regularly on my busy work days so Spidey isn’t alone too long.”

“Fantastic experience from start to finish. Great communication, regular updates, and Ted was very well cared for and happy. Would absolutely book again and highly recommend.”

About: I was a nanny + dog sitter for 3 years for a family. I took care of 3 kiddos + 3 dogs. I know the hustle, I am super organized and reliable. Mexican = hard worker. You won’t regret it! I am looking to have this job as a side hustle. Vancouver is an expensive city and having some extra income truly comes in nicely. I am available Monday to Friday after 5:30pm. And Fully available on weekends. Thank you!! I am able to take a small dog to my place, is a 1 bedroom apartment with a big balcony. I have a grass area just downstairs so I can easily take pup for walk or potty, not a problem.
About: Hi friends! Zenda here 👋 I’m someone who genuinely loves being around dogs and creating a calm, happy space where they feel safe, relaxed, and at home. I share my life with my sweet cocker spaniel–Labrador mix, Sam, who is the definition of easygoing. He’s helped shape my love for calm walks, cozy downtime, and including dogs in everyday life in a natural, stress-free way. I have a calm, steady energy that dogs tend to respond really well to, whether they’re playful, shy, or somewhere in between. I enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and adjusting to what they need - whether that’s a long walk, playtime, or just quiet companionship. I’m flexible with care options and happy to help in whatever way works best for you and your pup - whether that’s drop-in visits, walks, in-home care, or boarding. Sam is very social and easygoing, so having dogs stay with us also feels like a relaxed, friendly little pack environment. Above all, I treat every dog like they’re part of the family. I know how important peace of mind is when you’re away, so I aim to keep things consistent, gentle, and reassuring - with plenty of updates and care along the way. Think of me as a calm, cozy landing spot for your dog… with extra belly rubs included (Sam strongly approves of this policy). Pet care is a natural part of my everyday life. I already share my home with my dog, Sam, so my routine is built around walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and relaxed downtime together. At the moment, I have a very flexible schedule with no major restrictions, which allows me to adapt easily to different pet care needs. This flexibility means I can closely match your pet’s usual routine and provide care in a way that feels consistent and familiar for them. I enjoy being active daily, especially going on long, calm walks and spending time outdoors, so incorporating pet care into my week feels very natural to me. Whether it’s drop-in visits, walks, or longer stays, I’m able to plan my time around what works best for your fur baby. Spending time with dogs isn’t something I “fit in”, it’s something I genuinely enjoy and structure my time around. My priority is always making sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and understood in their environment. I take a calm, attentive approach and pay close attention to each dog’s personality, routines, and comfort level so I can adjust my care accordingly. In my home, pets are welcomed into a relaxed and calm space. My dog Sam is very easygoing and social, which helps create a gentle, friendly environment for visiting dogs. I always introduce dogs slowly and carefully to make sure everyone feels comfortable. In a client’s home, I respect the space fully and follow all instructions closely to maintain the pet’s usual routine as much as possible. I understand that consistency is very important for animals, so I aim to keep feeding times, walks, and habits familiar and stress-free. Across all care, safety is a priority - I stay attentive during walks, ensure secure handling at all times, and make sure pets are never placed in situations that feel overwhelming or unsafe. I also keep communication open with owners, providing updates so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is creating a calm, trusting environment where pets feel relaxed, cared for, and genuinely at ease.
About: Grew up with pets, raised a motley crew of pets, volunteered with the SPCA, and an animal sanctuary in Bolivia. Experience with puppies, seniors, and nervous dogs and cats. My time is to myself these days. I’m focusing on my health and am on a work leave. I would prioritize your pets when I’m sitting. I care for pets in my home as I would my own pets. They have access to all rooms. They can sit on the couch. Sleeping space is delegated to the living room if it’s a crate situation. However, I keep my bedroom door open, and pets can choose their spot. Feeding takes place in the kitchen, and my neighbourhood is great for walks with a dog park a couple of blocks away.
“Yin was so thoughtful and thorough! This was our first time leaving the cats for an extended period of time and we were nervous but she made us feel so at ease. One of our cats is extra shy and she went above and beyond to gain his trust and play with him. Communication was fantastic and we felt she genuinely cared about their wellbeing and happiness throughout!”

“Iris is an absolutely incredible and highly responsible pet sitter! I booked her to take care of my cat, Orange, while I was out of town, and I couldn't be happier with her service. Orange usually takes time to warm up to people, but he absolutely adores Iris. Every time she left, Orange would stand by the door for a long time, waiting for her to come back. During her visits, Iris went above and beyond—she meticulously cleaned the litter box, refreshed his water, and spent quality time playing with him. What touched me the most was how she handled an unexpected situation: Orange threw up once while I was away. Iris managed it beautifully and took such amazing care of him that he fully recovered and didn't throw up again. She sent me wonderful photos and videos during every single visit, which gave me complete peace of mind and allowed me to fully enjoy my vacation. Iris is reliable, professional, and genuinely loves animals. I will definitely look for Iris to take care of Orange again whenever I travel in the future. Highly, highly recommended!”

Keyan took wonderful care of my Pug while I was away. My dog absolutely loved her and was happy, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the stay. She kept me updated, which gave me great peace of mind. I truly appreciate her kindness and responsibility. I would definitely trust Keyan to look after my dog again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter!
We had a great experience and would definitely book Nataliia again! She was able to help us out with a last-minute check-in for our pup, Rosie, which we really appreciated. Communication was excellent throughout, and she kept us updated with messages and photos, giving us peace of mind. Rosie was well looked after and seemed happy and comfortable. We’d happily recommend her and wouldn’t hesitate to use her again in the future.

Ana has been amazing! I'm always a little nervous when I need someone to look after my dog because she requires a little extra patience and care but Ana always puts me at ease. She's not only great with dogs but she genuinely cares for their well-being and goes above and beyond to provide an excellent service. Thank you Ana!

Another great experience with Beth making sure Barlow was able to stretch his legs, eat, and play. It’s so reassuring that as a young puppy Barlow is able to trust Beth when we are away. As new dog owners, this time is so valuable and appreciated. Beth provided updates when she arrived, how he was doing, and when she left.

Lyvnia was amazing with our two energetic dogs! You could tell right away that our dogs liked her and from the pictures it seemed like they had a great time! She was also respectful of our house and showed up on time! We will definitely look to rebook with her again :)

I really appreciated the real-time updates during the walk, including messages about how Monica was doing along with photos and videos. It was very reassuring to see her happy and relaxed throughout the walk. The photos and videos were also beautifully taken and made for a great keepsake. Overall, a very positive experience and I would definitely book again.
We want to thank Taylor for the amazing pet-sitting service provided! Taylor was very thorough and made sure our pets were always comfortable. Taylor changed their water during every visit and spent time with them so they didn’t feel lonely. One of our pets was not eating as much as usual, Taylor immediately noticed it and brought it to our attention. This was greatly appreciated as it let us plan accordingly and stay updated on our pet state. We would gladly recommend Taylor to take care of your pet family.

It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
