About: Hi! I'm a dependable and caring pet sitter who treats every pet like my own. As the owner of an Australian Shepherd, I have experience caring for active, intelligent dogs that need plenty of exercise, attention, and mental stimulation. Whether your pet needs walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care, I'm committed to providing a safe, fun, and stress-free experience while keeping their routine consistent. I'll make sure your pet gets the care, companionship, and attention they deserve, and I'll keep you updated with photos and messages along the way. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I’m currently working afternoons and evenings leaving me with lots of time during the day to care for your pets! With a hyper active dog myself I already am out and about regularly for big walks. I believe every dog deserves a great walk, and I'll make sure your pup gets the exercise, enrichment, and care they need while you're away.
“Robyn was amazing! She took wonderful care of my cat during her visits. Her updates were concise, sweet, and always included great photos. She has a deep knowledge of cats, so I felt completely at ease leaving mine in her care. Highly recommended!”

“Judy came by with short notice to help me out while I was heading up to Whistler for a day trip. She came by to walk and feed Spider his dinner, plus hung out with him to make sure he had some fun before I got home :) I’ll book her regularly on my busy work days so Spidey isn’t alone too long.”

About: I have accumulated weeks of volunteer experience at numerous sanctuaries in the lower mainland and at my friend's sanctuary in Mexico. There is a wide range of animals to care for, including cats and dogs. I have cared for friends' dogs and cats over the years, always giving them the most love and attention you could possibly ask for! I feel very connected to animals, so their comfort and happiness is of upmost importance to me. You can rest easy knowing your fur babies are in loving and caring hands while you're not around :) My schedule is all over the place, as I work a couple different jobs, so I am available to pop in and out to care for animals, to give them walks or check on them and give them food and snuggles. I am definitely respectful in a client's home; I keep the place tidy and don't have any guests. I am always attentive to the animals, and make sure they are comfortable, fed, snuggled, and loved.
“Thammaporn & Kannaphat were really incredible with our two cats. They sent photos of everything they did with and for our cats, and they clearly had a good time with them. Our cats were well looked after by them, and we appreciate it 🙏🏻”

About: I grew up with cats and dogs, and I genuinely love taking care of other people's pets! I will do whatever is needed to make sure your pet is happy and healthy. I work full-time, 9 to 5. I work from home Thursdays and Fridays and have the weekend off. I am open to pet care tasks throughout the week, aside from Monday to Wednesday during the time I'm at the office! I live in an apartment with no pets of my own. I am very used to either housing cats at my place or going to others' homes to check in on/stay with their cats and dogs. Unfortunately I am not able to host dogs at my apartment.
“Fantastic experience from start to finish. Great communication, regular updates, and Ted was very well cared for and happy. Would absolutely book again and highly recommend.”

About: Hello! My name is Dirga, and I've had the joy of sharing my life with dogs since I was a child. With extensive experience caring for a diverse range of breeds - from Chihuahuas to Samoyeds and Pitbulls - I've developed a deep passion for walking and playing with our canine companions I currently work from home, which allows me to have a flexible schedule. In addition to my work, I'm also a passionate plants and enjoy dedicating time to nurturing my houseplants and tending to everything outdoors. A bit about me: I'm a tidy individual, a vegetarian, and I don't smoke or drink. Most importantly, I want to assure you that the safety and well-being of your pets is my top priority. I understand that I'm not just caring for animals, but also for beloved family members, companions, and cherished friends. Your trust means everything to me
“We are repeat customers of Natalie- she takes great care of our kitty (now kitties) while we are out of town - great communication - I know our pets are in good hands while we are away”

“We had such a positive first time experience with Daphne. She truly loves animals and it shows. She is communicative and put our minds at ease while we were gone. We hope to have Daphne sit for us again 🩷”

About: Grew up with pets, raised a motley crew of pets, volunteered with the SPCA, and an animal sanctuary in Bolivia. Experience with puppies, seniors, and nervous dogs and cats. My time is to myself these days. I’m focusing on my health and am on a work leave. I would prioritize your pets when I’m sitting. I care for pets in my home as I would my own pets. They have access to all rooms. They can sit on the couch. Sleeping space is delegated to the living room if it’s a crate situation. However, I keep my bedroom door open, and pets can choose their spot. Feeding takes place in the kitchen, and my neighbourhood is great for walks with a dog park a couple of blocks away.
About: I was a nanny + dog sitter for 3 years for a family. I took care of 3 kiddos + 3 dogs. I know the hustle, I am super organized and reliable. Mexican = hard worker. You won’t regret it! I am looking to have this job as a side hustle. Vancouver is an expensive city and having some extra income truly comes in nicely. I am available Monday to Friday after 5:30pm. And Fully available on weekends. Thank you!! I am able to take a small dog to my place, is a 1 bedroom apartment with a big balcony. I have a grass area just downstairs so I can easily take pup for walk or potty, not a problem.
About: Nurturing a Pet Haven: My Journey in Animal Care From the wagging tails of ten dogs—three of whom have crossed the rainbow bridge—to the gentle flutter of bird wings and the serene swims of turtles and fish, my home has been a sanctuary for diverse pets. Each day, I craft nutritious home-cooked meals, tailored to their needs, while meticulously managing their medications and grooming routines. This daily ritual is more than a task; it’s a labor of love, ensuring that every creature in my care thrives and feels cherished. I am currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to take sittings on weekdays as I work on weekends. I can sometimes contribute on weekends too. I will be doing the duties at client’s home with complete secure sitting. I can provide valid background check and profile info and with few references.
About: I have grown up with dogs in my home my whole life, taken care of my neighbours dogs and looked after dogs my whole life. I have a huge love for animals, but right now I don't have the full time capability for a pet myself, so this seems like an amazing compromise! I'm comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, playtime and cleaning up after pets (as i have done for my dog in Toronto my whole life)! Currently work from home on Thursday, Fridays and available all weekend for pet care. This open schedule allows me to provide plenty of bathroom breaks, closely monitor your pet, and offer frequent playtime, companionship, and attention throughout the day We live on the ground floor with a beautiful and enclosed courtyard that is all fully closed off. Since we own our property, pets are fully allowed. We live 3 minutes away from a large dog walking park and an even bigger park for the dogs to be able to run around off leash.
About: My wife and I have years of experience taking care of dogs. We love them. But we ensure that we love dogs in the ways that they receive love. Structure, exercise, cuddles, and calm, consistent leadership. I am well experienced in dog training, canine behaviour, and am confident working with dogs of varying sizes, breeds, and temperaments. My wife has worked for Global Pet Foods, and thus is experienced in dog nutrition and care. Together, we have raised & trained a beautiful female Vizsla named Sage. Our work schedule is quite flexible, so we are able to go out for walks or drop in for home visits. Rain or shine we love a good walk! We adhere to the guidelines given to us by the owners, as they know their dogs best. Upon that, we give dogs in our care plenty of structure, exercise, training, and attention. We also ensure the dogs stay well-nourished and protected while they are under our care. Responsibility & love is what we strive to provide.
About: I've always loved dogs for their energy and silliness, and have helped friends and neighbours walk their dogs whenever I have the opportunity. I have experience with higher energy breeds that require off-leash time to stay stimulated I'm a recent university graduate taking a few months off to plan for gap year travels, so I have a super flexible schedule! I am typically free all weekdays, and can make time on weekends with notice. I am super detail-oriented and clean, and will make sure that all feedings, walks, potty breaks, and anything else you need are completed according to your standards.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Vancouver
We had a great experience and would definitely book Nataliia again! She was able to help us out with a last-minute check-in for our pup, Rosie, which we really appreciated. Communication was excellent throughout, and she kept us updated with messages and photos, giving us peace of mind. Rosie was well looked after and seemed happy and comfortable. We’d happily recommend her and wouldn’t hesitate to use her again in the future.

Ana has been amazing! I'm always a little nervous when I need someone to look after my dog because she requires a little extra patience and care but Ana always puts me at ease. She's not only great with dogs but she genuinely cares for their well-being and goes above and beyond to provide an excellent service. Thank you Ana!

Another great experience with Beth making sure Barlow was able to stretch his legs, eat, and play. It’s so reassuring that as a young puppy Barlow is able to trust Beth when we are away. As new dog owners, this time is so valuable and appreciated. Beth provided updates when she arrived, how he was doing, and when she left.

Lyvnia was amazing with our two energetic dogs! You could tell right away that our dogs liked her and from the pictures it seemed like they had a great time! She was also respectful of our house and showed up on time! We will definitely look to rebook with her again :)

I really appreciated the real-time updates during the walk, including messages about how Monica was doing along with photos and videos. It was very reassuring to see her happy and relaxed throughout the walk. The photos and videos were also beautifully taken and made for a great keepsake. Overall, a very positive experience and I would definitely book again.
We want to thank Taylor for the amazing pet-sitting service provided! Taylor was very thorough and made sure our pets were always comfortable. Taylor changed their water during every visit and spent time with them so they didn’t feel lonely. One of our pets was not eating as much as usual, Taylor immediately noticed it and brought it to our attention. This was greatly appreciated as it let us plan accordingly and stay updated on our pet state. We would gladly recommend Taylor to take care of your pet family.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
