“Daphne is so great and accommodating! Key exchange is always easy to coordinate and she is kind and loving with my cat even when he decided to have litter box issues. I have booked three holiday seasons in a row and would highly recommend!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and animals for over 20 years and have experience with puppies, senior dogs, high-energy breeds, and shy or anxious pets. Along with personal pet care experience, I’ve also volunteered with the VOKRA (Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association) as a foster navigator and socializer, helping animals become comfortable, confident, and well-adjusted around people. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, supervise, and care for their pets as if they were my own. I’m patient, attentive, active, and genuinely passionate about animals, and I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness while in my care. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine since I already spend a lot of time around animals and regularly go on walks and outdoor activities. I’m active, reliable, and flexible with scheduling, and I make sure pets get plenty of exercise, attention, playtime, and care throughout the day. I’m also experienced with maintaining routines, feeding schedules, and making pets feel comfortable and relaxed while their owners are away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I’m attentive, patient, and experienced with reading animal behavior and making pets feel safe and secure in new environments. Through my volunteer experience with VOKRA as a foster navigator and socializer, I’ve worked with animals that require extra patience, supervision, and trust-building. I’m very aware of roads, other dogs, other animals, and environmental factors during walks and outings, and I always prioritize safe, controlled, and positive experiences for every pet in my care. I follow owner instructions carefully, maintain a clean and calm environment, and treat every pet like family.
About: My love for dogs started when I was a kid, growing up with my grandma’s Pekingese — she filled my childhood with the best memories. After she passed, I knew one day I’d welcome a dog of my own, and now I’m the proud mom of a Shiba Inu named Choco. Before bringing Choco home, I spent months learning about dog behavior and positive reinforcement techniques. I believe dogs aren’t just pets — they’re like toddlers who need love, patience, and understanding. I completed a Pet Sitter Certificate Course (IAP) to deepen my knowledge and communication skills with them. Whether it’s walking, feeding, or emotional care, I treat every dog as if they’re my own. I’m a full-time software engineer who works from home, so your pets will always have company. I can take dogs out for walks in the morning, during my lunch break, and again in the evening. If your pup is boarding with me, they’ll stay in a cozy home filled with love, attention, and gentle care — never left alone and always part of our daily routine. I live in a cozy condo in Mount Pleasant, one of Vancouver’s most dog-friendly neighborhoods, with plenty of parks and walking trails nearby. My home is pet-safe and welcoming, with a secure patio for fresh air and playtime. My Shiba, Choco, is super friendly and loves meeting dogs of all kinds. I always follow each owner’s routine carefully — from feeding schedules to training preferences — and can crate your dog if needed. My goal is to make every pet feel secure, loved, and happy while you’re away.
“Nimisha was awesome with my senior cat! She kept me updated the whole time I was away and I know he was well cared for. My cat is an independent man who is not one to open up but he definitely warmed up to Nimisha super fast. I couldn’t be happier!”

About: I was fortunate to grow up in a family that loved and supported pets (cats and dogs). We adopted dogs from shelters and those listed online that were “free to a good home.” Because of this I was introduced to a variety of breeds of dogs, at different stages in their life, who often struggled with reactive behaviours or medical conditions that were undiagnosed in their previous homes. I understand that a dog or cat’s needs can be specific and unique, and I will always respect an owners requirements of caring for their pet - a lot of hard work goes in to training and supporting a pet, and I will always do my best to maintain consistency for that animal. I’ve been involved in end of life care for both dogs and cats and I’m comfortable giving medications, cleaning up messes, and of course, spending extra time giving snuggles or scratches when needed :) Also, I’m an ICU Nurse, and, although my job is to care for sick humans (not animals), my experience in the healthcare field will positively influence how I love and look after your furry friend! As a Registered Nurse, my schedule involves shift work that varies week to week. When I'm not at work, however, I have ample time to walk, visit, and care for your furry family member. I have flexibility within my schedule also, that can allow me to have longer stretches of time off, so I could be available for house sitting needs or daily check ins. Unfortunately my current home is not “pet friendly” which is why I would LOVE to care for your animal outside of my home and in an environment they are comfortable in. I have grown up with cats and dogs in my childhood home and am comfortable walking dogs on or off leash, on wooded trails, or in busier neighbourhoods. I understand an animals home should be it’s safe space and will adapt my approach to your pets specific needs and routines, whatever they may be!
“Robyn was amazing! She took wonderful care of my cat during her visits. Her updates were concise, sweet, and always included great photos. She has a deep knowledge of cats, so I felt completely at ease leaving mine in her care. Highly recommended!”

About: Hello! My name is Dirga, and I've had the joy of sharing my life with dogs since I was a child. With extensive experience caring for a diverse range of breeds - from Chihuahuas to Samoyeds and Pitbulls - I've developed a deep passion for walking and playing with our canine companions I currently work from home, which allows me to have a flexible schedule. In addition to my work, I'm also a passionate plants and enjoy dedicating time to nurturing my houseplants and tending to everything outdoors. A bit about me: I'm a tidy individual, a vegetarian, and I don't smoke or drink. Most importantly, I want to assure you that the safety and well-being of your pets is my top priority. I understand that I'm not just caring for animals, but also for beloved family members, companions, and cherished friends. Your trust means everything to me
About: Grew up with pets, raised a motley crew of pets, volunteered with the SPCA, and an animal sanctuary in Bolivia. Experience with puppies, seniors, and nervous dogs and cats. My time is to myself these days. I’m focusing on my health and am on a work leave. I would prioritize your pets when I’m sitting. I care for pets in my home as I would my own pets. They have access to all rooms. They can sit on the couch. Sleeping space is delegated to the living room if it’s a crate situation. However, I keep my bedroom door open, and pets can choose their spot. Feeding takes place in the kitchen, and my neighbourhood is great for walks with a dog park a couple of blocks away.

“I’m so happy that I found Jessica to take care of my sweet, aging dog when I’m at work. I’ve only ever had family members take care of her previously and this was a big step. My dog is quite delicate in her advanced age and responds well to patience, kindness and love. It’s obvious she’s been well taken care of when I come home. I highly recommend Jessica.”

About: I am from Russia, and I am very responsible on everything as a person. I’ve been taken care of pets ever since I can remember! Always helped my friends and family members with their pets too. I also helped with pets as a job and helped at a dog shelter as a volunteer. I play hockey and study but have lots of free time for now. On Thursdays I’m busy after 5 pm. Mon-Thursday busy from 9 am to 12. So I can do any other time. My approach: spend quality time with the pets, playing smart games, being active, because I think pets need to be tired after, for example a walk, and sleep soundly after! My goal is making sure that a pet enjoys the time with me.
“Kazuko is an amazing cat caregiver. She genuinely loves cats and took care of mine with great patience. Our cats were quite shy at first, but by the end, they were really excited for Kazuko’s visits. Thank you so much, Kazuko!”

“Marta took such wonderful care of our cats, Maverick and Goose, while my partner and I were away. She visited them, played with them, and made sure they were happy and well cared for. From the photos she shared, we could see just how much they loved her and genuinely looked forward to her visits. Knowing they were in such great hands completely put us at ease while we were away on our honeymoon. We couldn’t recommend Marta more and will absolutely be hoping she can take care of our cats again in the future.”

“Fantastic experience from start to finish. Great communication, regular updates, and Ted was very well cared for and happy. Would absolutely book again and highly recommend.”

“Emilie did a great job taking care of my two cats Loma and Socrates for about 10 days. Sent photos everyday and was flexible to modifying the booking after the fact. Glad to have found this option for when I was out of the city. Would recommend Emilie to friends!”

“Conor and Grace took wonderful care of my cat while I was away. They were kind, responsible, and made sure he was happy and comfortable. We want to thank Taylor for the amazing pet-sitting service provided! Taylor was very thorough and made sure our pets were always comfortable. Taylor changed their water during every visit and spent time with them so they didn’t feel lonely. One of our pets was not eating as much as usual, Taylor immediately noticed it and brought it to our attention. This was greatly appreciated as it let us plan accordingly and stay updated on our pet state. We would gladly recommend Taylor to take care of your pet family.

Giovanna and her husband were great with Lloyd! They took such good care of him while I was away on vacation for a week. I had mistakenly given them a wrong key, and they went out of their way to pick it up from a family member. Sent pics with every visit, and kept me reassured that Lloyd was in good hands. Would highly recommend, and will definitely book them again.

Yifang was great with my little rat terrier! She was very prompt from the introductory mtg to the times she took my dog out to do her business to when she dropped off the keys afterward. And I could tell that my dog likes her because she was jumping all over Yifang when she met to give the keys back. Yifang also went the extra mile (literally) by taking my dog on walks up to 2 km long, which is about 1.5 miles further than any of my other Rovers ever did! In short, Yifang is fantastic and I won't hesitate to ask for her services again.
