Therefore I have a preference to provide care in the client's home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed. I provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection while always respecting each pet's individual needs and boundaries. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any special care requirements provided by the owner. Safety is my top priority. I ensure pets are always supervised appropriately, secure during walks and outdoor time, and kept in a clean, pet-friendly environment. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy and well cared for while they're away.

About: Hello! It's great to meet you. We are Marly & Charlie - we have both been taking care of and loving dogs of all kinds ever since we were very young. We are patient, gentle pet sitters, who can’t wait to take great care of your pets when you’re away. Each animal is treated as if they were our own and given a great deal of love and attention. We are happiest using positive reinforcement to encourage animals and play to keep them engaged. Nothing brings us more joy than building a bond with an animal! Since we're not at a point of being able to commit to having one of our own, pet sitting and dog walking is the perfect way for us to enjoy the best of both worlds. We are particularly open to extended housesits for while you go on vacation and offer a very inexpensive rate for this for the value you'll get from having the both of us look after your beloved/s in exchange for being able to have a staycation with your lovely pets and home. :) We have experience caring for all types of dogs from big to small; we have been foster carers for a long time as well as being professional pet sitters (with extensive reviews) back home in Australia where we've moved from recently, so are very familiar with training for behavioural issues and have learned an incredible deal of patience and understanding for animals. We lead an active lifestyle so know lots good spots for walks or even runs. We're comfortable managing all kinds of dog interactions. We also love cats just as much as dogs and have both grown up with them our whole lives! We are happy giving oral medication if necessary but don’t have experience with needles (though we are open to being taught!). During house visits, by request we are happy to look after extra tasks such as taking mail in, putting bins out or watering plants at no extra charge of course. We both work for ourselves so have a pretty flexible schedule and pride ourselves on being extremely reliable (definitely not in either of our natures to let anyone down and always go above and beyond). Having the ability to work from home also means your pet will get lots of company and attention! We have a small fenced front yard which your pets can enjoy. We are happy to follow whichever care instructions you would like for your animals, this includes in the home and outside. Charlie works from home full time and Marly only works part-time so there will always be someone around to provide love and companionship to your pets, as well as as much exercise as they desire. We will look after your home, pets and plants as if they were our own (i.e. providing endless love and keeping your home sparkling clean for your return). We are both experienced housesitters and petsitters and will show the utmost respect for being in your space by taking great care of all your belongings and beloveds.

About: To me, the most important part of pet care is patience and communication, even when that communication doesn't involve words. Every animal has their own personality, boundaries, routines, and way of telling you what they need. I have experience caring for both cats and dogs at every stage of life, from puppies and kittens all the way through to senior and end-of-life. I've managed medications, been there through surgeries, and loved them all along the way. At 9 years old, I finally wore down my parents and they got me a puppy. Paige was my entire world, my best friend, and my sister. She taught me the importance of love and patience, and the true meaning of responsibility. After losing her last summer, I dove headfirst into being a crazy cat lady. After fostering for some time, I adopted 2 precious kitties of my own. Now I just cannot get enough animal love! Since I work from home, I love the chance to get out and spend some much needed time with my neighbourhood fur-friends. I do this because at the end of the day, there's no better feeling than taking care of someone else. Especially when they've got 4 legs and they're covered in fur from head to toe! About: We've owned family dogs my whole life. Currently, we have a 12-year-old Shih-tzu, Kallie, and a 7-year-old Akita mix, Jasper. I have been heavily involved with the care and training of both dogs, while our Akita mix required more attention. Jasper, who is now a loving and friendly pup, was extremely reactive and a flight risk. Through copious amounts of positive reinforcement training, I am thrilled to say he is a confident and pleasant dog, who has become an amazing companion in all activities. Jasper has also had some complex health issues, which has familiarized me with various means of medical-related care, and feeding methods (he keeps us on our toes!). Additionally, I have dog sat for numerous people in my home community, most often a pair of rambunctious Siberian husky mixes—a crazy duo that stole my heart. I have recently relocated to Vancouver for my studies, with my three cats. Since moving, I miss our family dogs immensely, as they were an instrumental part of my day-to-day. I was involved with the daily care of both our dogs, including grooming, training, and walks/hikes. I have experience working with both large and small breed dogs, with varying personalities.
