About: Ive been raised with dogs in my family for my entire life, including my own personal Akita named Simba. My upbringing and experience has taught me a great deal about how to care for pets, and have the utmost respect towards pets and pet owners alike. I’ve always taken great pride in taking care of my pets to the highest degree and treat them as both my family members and best companions. I have experience with very large, medium and small sized dogs from new born puppies to elderly. I currently work fully remotely from home 5 days per week from 9-5. I have a great amount of flexibility when it comes to giving attention or activity during the workday! About: To me, the most important part of pet care is patience and communication, even when that communication doesn't involve words. Every animal has their own personality, boundaries, routines, and way of telling you what they need. I have experience caring for both cats and dogs at every stage of life, from puppies and kittens all the way through to senior and end-of-life. I've managed medications, been there through surgeries, and loved them all along the way. At 9 years old, I finally wore down my parents and they got me a puppy. Paige was my entire world, my best friend, and my sister. She taught me the importance of love and patience, and the true meaning of responsibility. I do this because at the end of the day, there's no better feeling than taking care of someone else. Especially when they've got 4 legs and they're covered in fur from head to toe! I live in the South Cambie area and work from home full-time (with a flexible schedule). Throughout the work week, I'm mostly available in the morning and late afternoon/evening, as well as day-time visits if you're close by :) I know how stressful it can be to leave your pet in someone else’s care, so let’s find a plan that makes both you and your pet feel as comfortable as possible! About: I have had a dog growing up for 13 years. I also dog sit for my cousins each summer and they have 3 rescues. I am comfortable with walking, feeding, grooming, medications etc. I work a split shift so I have a chunk of time off in the mornings/ afternoons to walk dogs during my breaks throughout the week and I work only in the mornings on weekends so am available in the afternoon. I have 2 cats in my apartment and they mostly sleep but have a lot of toys, eat 3x a day and have a cleaned litter box every day. They like to sit outside on my balcony with me in the sun.
