We had an absolutely wonderful experience leaving our dog Pluto with this lovely retired couple for a week while we were away in Toronto. From the moment we met Kit, we felt completely comfortable knowing Pluto was in great hands. They have a beautiful, clean, and welcoming home, and most importantly, they truly love having a dog around. Pluto received lots of one-on-one attention and was never left feeling alone. It was clear that they genuinely cared about his comfort, happiness, and well-being. There is also a large grassy field nearby, which was perfect for exercise, walks, and letting Pluto enjoy some outdoor time. What stood out most was the personal care and attention they gave him throughout his stay. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like family, give them plenty of companionship, and make sure they are happy and well cared for, I highly recommend them. We came home knowing Pluto had been safe, loved, and very well taken care of. We would absolutely trust them with Pluto again!
Debbie is fantastic with English Cocker Spaniel, Ruby. We've used Debbie several times now and we'll continue to send Ruby to her as long as she'll have us. Debbie takes fantastic care of Ruby and Ruby just loves her. We get daily updates with photos and Ruby goes out for walks and to the park several times a day, and gets to spend time with Debbie's chihuahua, Rio -- they get along great. Katherine took great care of our goldendoodle! She was easy to communicate with and very understanding of our guy’s anxious tendencies. Fiona took such good care of my cats! They had a lovely room all to themselves. She gave me photo and text updates every day on how they were doing. I even got little 'report cards' when I picked my cats up that let me know how they did during their whole stay. Oh and all my stuff and cats were packed up and ready to go when I arrived. I'll be booking with Fiona again if I ever need a cat sitter :)

Lucy had a wonderful time with Vanessa!! Vanessa made sure to keep us updated with plenty of photos and videos while we were away on our trip. Lucy definitely got to make the most of her time outside on walks and runs. Vanessa was accommodating for us when we had some issues with our ferry, meaning that Lucy had to stay a couple extra hours but that was no problem for Vanessa! Lucy will definitely be back!
Angie was incredible! One of the best sitters I’ve worked with on Rover. She was flexible with pickup and drop off times and was in constant communication with photos and updates about our pup. She asked all the right questions to make sure she understood Luna’s behaviours and what would make her comfortable. I will be going out of my way to book with Angie again.
Brittany was wonderful with my dog, Ennis, who can be reactive and needs someone patient and attentive. She communicated well throughout his stay and sent photos. When I picked him up, he was relaxed and well cared for. Brittany was also very flexible with both drop-off and pick-up times, which I really appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to book with her again.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
