He had an absolute blast and was treated like family. It was so comforting to see and gave us peace of mind that our Charlie looking so happy and relaxed while we were away. About: Hi there! It's nice to meet you, I'm Klen. I'm an experienced pet caregiver currently residing in the Burquitlam area. I have hands on experience for dogs of any age and size, no matter the personality, I'd love to get to know them! Friends and family have always asked me to look after their fur babies and I've always happily agreed to help/care for them, so I figured why not create more opportunities for new future dogs to get the attention and care they need. I'm comfortable with high energy dogs (I have one myself, her name is Sugar!), puppies and senior dogs. I've dealt with dogs up to 100lbs, even dogs with anxiety (my dog was a rescue with anxiety before). I'm dedicated to take my time learning body cues for each dog since they all come with different personalities and walks of life (pun intended). I genuinely do my best to set them up for success and to feel comfortable and safe! Currently I'm on a short break from my primary job, but I usually work a flexible Remote WFH set up, so lots of attention dedicated for your pup with proper at home supervision. I even have a guest bed dogs can nap on in my office! I have one Husky-Mix at home who can keep your fur baby company and entertained as well! If needed I do have a crate for any dog up to 100lbs, a fenced patio for them to relax in and/or any emergency potty breaks (with close supervision), and multiple dog beds for them to choose from. Since I already have one dog at home, I prefer to host one dog at a time to ensure proper attention, care, safety and needs of your pup are closely prioritized and are in a comfortable environment. As well my dog understands cues from other dogs and will give space as needed -- she can get very vocal but is very neutral at home! BUT, if you happen to own 2 dogs at the same time, I'm flexible and willing to open my home for them 🙂.

“At the last minute I had to arrange a week of boarding care for my 13 year old dog (Chihuahua mix) Rosie. I had never had to leave her in the care of someone I didn't know before. At 13 years old, Rosie comes with special care instructions and I needed to ensure these needs were met. After a trial daycare first to see if Isabelle was a good fit, it was clear that Rosie was in great care. Isabelle sent regular updates and photos and ensured Rosie ate well and got plenty of time outside (walks...and her favorite, sunbathing). When I picked Rosie up after the week of boarding, she was happy and healthy. I couldn't have been happier with this service that Isabelle and her daughter provided. Sami and Kate were absolutely wonderful with Kobe. This was our first time using Rover, and honestly, they made the whole experience so easy and reassuring. They sent frequent updates and pictures throughout Kobe’s stay, which we really appreciated. It genuinely felt like we were leaving Kobe with friends who truly cared about him. They treated him with so much patience, kindness, and attention, and we could tell he was well looked after and comfortable there. What really stood out to me was that Sami even messaged the day after we picked Kobe up just to check in and see how he was settling back in at home. I thought that was incredibly thoughtful and sweet. We were so impressed with both of them and would absolutely love to have them take care of Kobe again. Highly recommend!
On the meeting day with Olga my dog was so happy and very comfortable with her like they knew each other very well. She was so friendly and kind . Her daughter is such a sweetheart as well. Chico was in love with her right the way lol Olga was sending me a pictures , videos and updates how Chico was doing which helped us to trust them . This was our first time with any sitter and was such a great experience. We will definitely use Olga and her family to take care of our furry baby. Thank you so much for great care of Chico!
Kyuho (and his wife) took care of my dog Koji for about two weeks and were great! He sent photos and videos regularly during his stay. It was great to see Koji going for walks with their dog Badoo and also playing lots of ball (his favourite). They took very good care of my dog and were super friendly. I would definitely book again!
Kyel was an amazing person to care for our dogs. We don’t normally go on many trips as we also worry about where to leave our dogs but we tried Kyel’s service. He truly cared a lot for our dogs and it felt like they got a vacation of their own as when we got pictures and video updates from Kyel it really seemed like they were enjoying themselves. When we returned home they were searching for where he was. He is very caring for the dogs, our cocker spaniel has anxiety and we worry about him but upon the first meeting I believe he sensed he was in good hands as during the duration of the stay he was calm with Kyel. If you want peace of mind you can trust in Kyel knowing he will love and treat your dog as if it were his own.
Piper came back from a week with Paige happy and calm. I enjoyed receiving daily updates and pictures and when there was a concern I appreciated that Paige asked for my recommendation and then followed up with the result of that action. I would definitely book Piper with Paige again!
We highly recommend Angela and her family to watch your dog. Right from the get go, Angela was very communicative with arranging the time and date for Aria to be dropped off and picked up. We also received regular updates during her stay, including messages and pictures about the different adventures they went on. Aria enjoyed the hikes and time she got to play with the family. We will definitely ask Angela to watch Aria again.
Esther and Brett took care of our cat, Bruno. Esther was very kind and communicative throughout the entire process right from reacting out to her. She provided daily updates on how Bruno was doing at their house which was super helpful being our first time using any service like this. Our kitty was happy and well looked-after when we picked him up!
We left our little kitten with Zhaofen for about 12 days. She sent us daily updates, including photos and messages about our cat’s condition and how she was adjusting to the new environment. Fortunately, since her home is spacious and she also has a lovely cat named Kevin, it seemed like our cat had a great time during those 12 days. Zhaofen also returned all the leftover supplies we had provided, including dry and wet food and even the remaining cat litter. Compared to other sitters, her price was also more reasonable and economical. Thank you, Xiaofen.
Anna took wonderful care of our cat, Adzuki, while we were away. Unfortunately, Adzuki turned out to be extremely homesick and had a bit of separation anxiety, which made the situation more challenging than expected. Anna handled it with patience, care, and excellent communication. She kept us updated frequently with detailed reports about Adzuki’s eating, mood, and overall health, and she was very thoughtful about how to make Adzuki comfortable, creating a safe space under the bed, monitoring her food and water intake, and keeping a close eye on symptoms like sneezing. It was clear she was paying close attention and genuinely cared about Adzuki’s well being. Anna was also very considerate about potential stress factors, choosing not to push introductions with her own cat and focusing instead on keeping Adzuki calm and stable until her appetite returned to normal. We really appreciated her transparency, responsiveness, and the level of care she showed during a stressful situation for both us and our cat. By the end of the stay Adzuki was eating normally again, which was a huge relief. Highly recommend Anna to anyone looking for a thoughtful, responsible, and communicative cat sitter. 🐾
