About: Hi there! I’m Paula and I'm 35 years old, a lifelong dog lover who’s had dogs since I was 10 years old. Although I don’t currently have a dog (it’s just me, and I believe in the commitment it takes to have one), I really miss their companionship. That’s why I’ve been happily dog-sitting for the last three years! I live in a one-bedroom apartment with a patio in a dog-friendly building. Pets are welcome everywhere in my house yes! That also includes couch and bed :) With a park just a block away, we’ll have plenty of chances for long walks—which I love! Plus, there will be plenty of cuddles in the mix to keep your pup feeling right at home. Back in Spain, I volunteered at a dog shelter for several years, gaining experience in training, dog therapy, and caring for pups of all ages, including seniors and those needing medication. House sitting, water plants, tidy house. I am retired, so I have time on my hands and love cats and dogs. I have pet sat for 15 plus years. All by the way of word of mouth. I always keep dogs on a leach when outside. While I have a yard, it is hedged but not gated. Ensure pets are fed on time. I make sure there they have fresh water for their bowls. As well I ensure they are comfortable at bed time. I clean their indoor papers or clean outside following each toilet times.

Karla did a fantastic job taking care of my cat. She went above and beyond to make sure he stayed cool during a heatwave. My cat is also highly anxious and fearful; she was very patient with him and made sure he was still drinking enough water and eating. I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing my scaredy cat Griffin was well taken care of. She sent photos and updates everyday which I appreciated and even vacuumed up some kibble which wasn’t expected but was lovely! I came home to a tidy space and a well taken care of cat. I will absolutely book her again in the future.
Khale did a great job caring for my cat. Khale was great with my cat, who is a bit wary of new people but she very quickly warmed up to him. Khale followed instructions for the food carefully, and kept her eating area very clean. Highly recommend booking with Khale!
