About: I grew up with two jack Russel’s. Patch was my dog and spice was the family dog. Taking care of those two crazies for most of my life and continuing to dog sit for friends and family throughout the years has given me years of experience sitting pups. I’m a remote worker so am always around and have great structured times to go out for walks and pee breaks. I’m a remote worker! I’m in the house all of the time so your pup has a constant companion. They’ll need to be my admin assistant during the workday but they’ll absolutely get many pee breaks and pets, as well as serval good sized walks. I have a fenced yard in the back and we live close to a large trail system around Burnaby lake. Lots of areas to explore. If not sitting in my place, we’ll take walks in between calls and there’s lots of time for pets no matter what’s happening. I’m a calm and patient sitter who loves animals and treat them very well.
About: First off I work from home and will be with your animal friend 24/7. I was raised on a farm and have always been around animals. I have owned 3 dogs, a horse And two cats throughout my life. I currently do not own any animal friends, having just lost my boy Moonshine of 15 years. I also live right close to Pandora Dog park and walk my pets there twice a day to play. I have a fenced in yard as well. I love to send photos and videos and chat if desired during the duration of your pets stay. :) i always want to ensure both you and your pet get a fun peaceful calm experience while I am caring for your pet. I am a professional and most of all will care for your pet and home as if it were my own. I have lots of free time to take the dogs on adventures in the woods. I often go to trout lake and inter river to walk to forest trials. I offer discount for longer term stays and new clients! I have a fenced yard. I will care for your dog in the way you instruct me to. Lots of love and cuddles if they want that.

About: I’ve spent less time on my own than with animals, and I NEVER want this to change 💌 I’ve had cats, a dog, lots of canaries, aquarium fish, a rat, and hamsters. My experience spans various species and runs deep. My job is remote. As many of you know, this means much time sinking at home. But what I prefer is walking the streets of Downtown, recharging with little pet-dudes, grabbing a coffee, and only then can I work (ahah I hope my boss won’t find this ad:))) Now, I’ve been living with an adult cat (not to insult her by saying “old” 🥹) for 13 years already. She has opened my eyes in many ways. Raising her has been the greatest pleasure, and I cherish her little rituals. Every pet has their own! I always start by learning as much as possible about a pet’s behavior, boundaries, and yes, rituals, until we ultimately find our mutual love language. Karina and Matt were incredible dog/house sitters. It's the first time we've used a service like Rover to book a dog sitter, and we were a tad nervous about the process, but the meet-and-greet with Karina and Matt put us at ease. They answered all our questions, were really communicative and punctual. While we were away, they sent us updates on our dog, and they took really great care of our home. As happy as our dog was to see us when we got home, I think she also misses her new friends! I would highly recommend Karina to anyone looking for someone to care for their dog.
We booked Samantha when we had to go away for a few days to stay at our house to look after our Rotti and rescue staffy. She was willing to come and do 2 home visits before to make sure the dogs and us were comfortable. The dogs were happy and safe while we were gone and will book her for sure the next time we need to go away!
This was the 2nd time Megan watched Finley and we were super happy with her stay and trust her watching our pup! She was timely and provided updates that we absolutely loved! Finley was so excited to see and hangout with her again. She also was able to accommodate super last minute which we are grateful for.
