I am conscious of the importance of pet safety, whether that is ensuring your back gate is closed, keeping your dog from running going out into traffic, or just keeping a tight grip on the leash to ensure an energetic dog doesn’t run off after a squirrel.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs or behavioural concerns and if you have a preferred way to address them. Please also let me know if your pet is not comfortable with other dogs in case we meet any on a walk. I am comfortable with high energy dogs and puppy energy, but not dogs with a history of aggression towards people.
A typical day
Going for walks, playing fetch, and lots of pets. I'm happy to provide more high energy activities for high energy pets and slower activities for less active or senior dogs. I want your pet to have a fun, positive experience!

I grew up on an acrerage with dogs and cats and a wide variety of other pets. I was pretty well born loving animals of all kinds. I can’t have one of my own at present, but I enjoy looking after them for other people. Note: if you are looking for housesitting my husband and I would do that together.
