“Morgan was great, she looked after our high energy husky puppy, elderly cat, and house for 2 weeks while we were on vacation. Trustworthy and left the home clean and intact.”

“Riley took care of our 165 pound Greater Swiss Mountain Dog in our home for 3 days. We came home to a calm happy dog and a tidy home. Riley was very responsive to any text and gave us regular updates. I would definitely highly recommend her as my big lazy boy can be a handful 😁”

“Megan was fantastic with watching our kittens for the night. She sent lots of pictures, videos and kept us updated at all times. Our shy kittens were comfortable with her super quick and adapted well. She accommodated our schedule on Christmas and was great with communication. She made time to met our kittens prior which made us feel very comfortable. Would highly recommend booking Megan for your pet sitting needs!”

“Absolutely amazing experience! My dog adored her instantly, and she went above and beyond all weekend. She kept me updated with tons of photos and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind. The sweetest part? She handmade a little boot for my dog’s deformed paw to keep him comfy! So thoughtful, kind, and truly cares about the animals she watches. 10/10 recommend! 🐾 I will most definitely be calling Estefania again in the future!”

“Vivian accepted a long house and cat sitting position on short notice to help me when my arranged sitter had to cancel for an out of town emergency. She followed the instructions for Mo’s care closely and I came home to a healthy cat who was not suffering from any of his common stress related issues. The video updates she sent showed me she was indulging him in all his favourite activities and he was relaxed and at ease. I am very grateful for the care Vivian provided for Mo, he is healthy and as happy as a cat who is mad at their owner can be ;)”

“We had the pleasure of having Cara look after our dog, Finn, and she was absolutely wonderful! She kept us updated every day with photos and messages, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Finn looked so happy and well cared for the entire time. On top of that, we came home to a spotless house, Cara even went the extra mile and washed the linens. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and thoughtful dog sitter. She truly treats your fur baby like her own!”

“Paula took great care of Max for 3 nights/days. She sent plenty of pictures and Max was happy when we got back. Most importantly she followed the care schedule for his meds that were left for him to take 2 times a day. Would definitely use her again!”

About: What sets me apart? I am confident with large dogs, including farm and guard dogs! I discovered a love for big dogs when my mum adopted a hound mix who grew to be a 120lb wrecking ball of dopey energy. I've had a soft spot for the big ones ever since, and take particular pleasure in befriending them. I believe communication between human and dog is critical. A person's body language and tone of voice can say more to a dog than words ever could. That means I physically get down onto their level for affection, I use positive reinforcement consistently, I talk with them throughout walks, and I keep an eye on their body language as well for signs of happiness, fear, apprehension, etc. I'm confident walking on city streets, in forests/on trails, and in off-leash zones. I just need to know what your pup is most comfortable with and we'll go from there! APRIL 1 - NOV 1 availability Mon - 12:30pm to 8:00pm Tues - 12:30pm to 8:00pm Weds - unavailable Thurs - 12:30pm to 8:00pm Fri - 12:30pm to 8:00pm Sat - 12:30pm to 8:00pm Sun - 6:00am to 8:00pm I work at my job most mornings so will generally not be able to accommodate morning requests. I am keen to operate within the parameters and routines you've established inside and outside your home, in order to maintain continuity for your pet. This includes checking in with you for specific command words, encouraged and discouraged behaviours and their corresponding rewards/corrections, social situations to work on or avoid, favourite routes, etc. Personally, my pet cat receives as much attention as I can give him. He is highly affectionate, so is usually parked on my lap or somewhere nearby. I used treats/positive reinforcement to train him to shake a paw and sit down. My great fear for my little guy, and for all pets, really, is that he is bored, understimulated, or lonely. Because of this, I pay special attention to making sure that he is being physically and mentally stimulated in addition to affection. That means exercise and puzzles! I love to find simple games whether we're outside or inside - find-the-thing, makeshift tunnels to run through (if you're brave), seeking out tiny forest creatures to discover, etc. I'm always looking for new brain games for dogs, so if you have a favourite, let me know!
“Our 3rd booking with Sandra. Her caring nature puts at ease every time we leave our beloved 17 year old cat. We are thankful we have found Sandra who gives us a peace of mind while away.”

“I felt my dogs were very safe and comfortable around Ellie. She came over to meet them and spent one night with them and she was on time and made sure they were well taken care of. She also kept contact by sending photos and updates throughout! I look forward to having her dog sit again in the future!”

“Aly took care of my husband & i's fur babies & she took wonderful care of them while we were away with daily updates & pictures to make feel secure while on vacation! We would 100% book her again!”

About: I’ve owned and trained dogs since I was in my teens. I can keep up with high energy puppies or breeds like aussies and border collies, but am also good for snuggling with seniors or ailing pups too. I am capable of basic training and teaching some tricks. I love going to the dog park and working on catching frisbees or chasing balls forever. I am fully free for booking, with a preference to regular walks over the summer. I am usually a contract employee and expect work to start picking up again around September. While I have a rambunctious border collie mix named Zeus, your pup will be walked solo to have my full attention and will never be off leash unless in a securely fenced area or they have proven bombproof recall. I will stick to your schedule as dictated for home visits and am glad to just provide snuggle/human companion time for your pet to not feel as lonely while you’re gone.
About: I’m a full-time elementary teacher who seeks experience to take care of a loving animal before I get a dog of my own. I trained a dog for one year when I was a teenager and have wanted to get a dog for years now, but my situation wasn’t always ideal for it. Now I want to see if my desire to get a pet is as strong as I think it is before I sign up an adoption form. By working with Rover, I hope to learn to tend for pets according to their owners’ directions and see what I’m capable of. I also really enjoy the presence of pets, and if I can get paid to be with one, I’m surely in heaven! I love the company of pets and will certainly treat them as my own, maybe even spoil them, with your permission! I work full time in an elementary school but my schedule is flexible before 8:45 am and after 3pm during week days. My wife is also passionate and we always work together to care for pets tha we board. She works from home except on Wednesdays, so it gives us more flexibility. When I’m with your pet, I dedicate my entire attention to them. I want to be fully present and enjoy every moment with them. I make sure to respect their needs and follow your instructions carefully. I will never go against your rules even if I get puppy eyes.
About: I have over 12 years of personal experience caring for my own dog, along with professional experience working as a Dog Walker and Associate at a busy dog daycare. I also worked as a Veterinary Assistant in a pet clinic, where I gained hands-on experience with dog behavior, health monitoring, feeding routines, medication support, and caring for dogs with different personalities and needs. What sets me apart is my calm, patient, and attentive approach with animals. I understand how important trust, safety, and consistency are for both pets and owners. I’m comfortable with puppies, high-energy dogs, senior dogs, and shy or anxious pets. I always make sure dogs feel safe, loved, exercised, and well cared for while in my care. I provide frequent potty breaks, engaging walks, playtime, regular updates with photos, and a clean, comfortable environment. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and treat every pet as if they were my own. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I truly enjoy spending time with dogs and caring for them. I currently work part-time on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so I have a flexible schedule during the rest of the week. I’m available for dog walks and potty breaks at different times throughout the day, and for boarding I’m currently available on Monday and Tuesday nights. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, active, and well cared for. Whether caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I always focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow each pet’s regular routine closely, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions. I make sure dogs get enough exercise, attention, and companionship throughout the day, while also keeping a clean, calm, and stress-free environment. I’m attentive to each dog’s personality and needs, and I always treat pets with patience and care as if they were my own.

“We can’t thank Taylor enough for the wonderful care they gave our dog while we were away. It’s clear she truly love animals, as they bonded right away. The regular check-ins and photos meant so much. We’d trust her again in a heartbeat!”

About: I have had dogs my whole life as well as looked after other dogs starting from a few hours to multiple days. I love learning your dogs personalities and interests. Will care for your dogs as if they were mine. I am a student and part time worker so can take care of your dogs in the evening or Tuesdays and Thursdays during the day. I have experience walking and training my own dogs. I love spending time and learning dogs personalities. I am confident I can support you and your dogs needs.
About: I grew up in a household filled with animals so my love and care for them comes very easy. I’m comfortable with all ages, sizes and breeds of dogs, as well as cats. I have experience with puppies and senior pups, as well as a bit of knowledge on dogs behaviour and training from previous courses I’m currently working part time so my schedule is flexible to work with your needs! I drive and have my own car so transportation to and from isn’t a concern I treat all animals, but especially those that aren’t familiar with me, with gentleness and care. I’m comfortable crating your dog(s) if requested, I ensure they’re taken out on a regular basis, always have water and are fed on time

Tatyana was wonderful! We got lots of updates with pictures and videos of Roux while we were away. She did some training with her as well. Tatyana stayed at our house and took very good care of it as well. And any time she needed to step out for a bit, her lovely mom came to spend time with Roux! We will definitely book with Tatyana again.

Tara was so attentive and a great communicator. She was very clear and upfront about her timing and her response time was extremely fast. I think our dog Oscar most certainly enjoyed her care, company and outings. I would highly recommend Tara to anyone who needs a Petsit and a house sit!
We used Rover for the first time and selected Lori to look after our cat Ringo for a week. We couldn’t have been happier. Lori is absolutely fantastic! Lori met with us a few days before we left to go over Ringo’s needs and routine. While we were away, she did a great job keeping in regular communication with us and providing us with photos. We came home and it was as though we’d never left. Ringo was in great spirits and it was clear that he had been well taken care of by Lori. In addition, Lori took out garbage and recycling on garbage day and left our house spotless. We wouldn’t have even known that someone had been there. We will definitely use Lori again and again. She’s more than a five star… She’s a six star! Thanks Lori.

Davinia was an absolute gem watching my two fur babies!! I don't know who's separation anxiety is worse, theirs or mine, so leaving them for a week was very stressful for me, plus they are rescues from traumatic situations so they are still unsure about new people, especially my 3lb. chihuahua! They took to Davinia right away though, which is rate, but definitely put me at ease so I could actually enjoy my vacation and not worry the whole time. She sent updates and photos multiple times a day which worked perfect for me because I would have just been asking about them all the time otherwise. I'm so happy my littles were in such good hands and I that I have someone I can trust to look after them! Thank you so much Davinia!!

Aly is great, she looked after our two boy cats for 2 weeks while we were away. She stayed at our place and it really helped keep Jeffery happy as he has anxiety when someone just drops in. You can tell she truly cares about cats as Jeffery and Wally warmed up to her right away. She had to bring one of our cats to the vet as he had an eye infection and she gave him eye drops. Great communication, Aly sent us lots of messages and pics most days to keep us updated I would not hesitate in recommending Aly to anyone and would love to use her again for future sits Thank you so much we really appreciate everything.

Jackie was fantastic taking care of all our animals. She loved our animals right away and vice versa. At our meet and greet she got down on the floor and won our temperamental Roxy over. Jackie left our home nicer than we had left it. We would use Jackie again in the future! Thank you Jackie from Liz, René and the zoo.

I can’t recommend Meara enough — words can’t fully express my gratitude for the incredible level of care she provided for our pets. While she was sitting for us, my dog became sick, and Meara reacted quickly, taking all the right steps to ensure our dear Cece was safe, healthy, and well cared for. She even took her to the vet in the middle of the night and handled everything like a true champion. Beyond that, she cared for our home beautifully and showered our pets with so much love and attention that my dog and cat truly became her best friends. We are deeply grateful for the exceptional care she gave and the way she went the extra mile in every way. Thank you, Meara!!! We’d welcome you back anytime to look after our beloved four-legged family members

Taryn was great with our 2 large dogs while we were away for the weekend! She was responsive in her messaging, took great care of the dogs and spoiled them with love, walks and treats! I would definitely recommend her for your pets and would use her again if we need! ☺️
