About: Having grown up with dogs, cats, horses and other animals, my passion for animals and animal care began young and has been lifelong. At a young age I became the trusted dog-sitter for friends & family, often doing overnights even as a teenager. As a young adult I have eagerly continued to care for friends pets as they travel or have work/ life commitments, and am exited to continue to do so for Rover clients. Within the last few years I have lived in a household with 2 large huskies, one with reactivity issues, and was a regular part of their daily feeding, care and exercise routines. About: Ever since I got my first cat at the age of 5 and my first dog at the age of 7 I’ve loved to care and watch a pet grow and change, both my dogs became more playful and happier as time went on, and it seemed like the walks and time spent together was just as fun for me as it was for them. Not only do I have experience in loving and taking care of my own pets, I’ve also done so with my clients’ pets, spending weeks at a time in their homes focusing on the pets’ needs and wants. About: I grew up with dogs and cats and have experience caring for pets of different sizes. I had two German Shepherds, a large Central Asian Shepard, and several cats, including Siamese and Persian cats. I also took care of my neighbors' smaller dogs, such as small terriers and Spaniels, and cats when they needed help. I'm comfortable with large and small dogs and can follow each other owner's feeding, walking and care instructions. I’m studying part-time and am usually fully available on weekend, and after 2 p.m. on workdays. Also, I can be available some workdays for the full day. I understand that every pet has its own routine, so I follow the owner’s instructions carefully. I can help with feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter box cleaning, and other basic care. I also make sure pets feel comfortable in their familiar environment and that the home is left clean, tidy, and secure.

He required meds every three hours through the day and I came back to him in perfect health. Stef was very good about making sure the meds were right and asking questions when she needed clarification. She also played with my other dogs who absolutely adored her and her partner.”

About: Hi there! My name is Nicole, and I'm a 38-year-old Etsy shop owner in Maple Ridge. I've had family dogs my entire life, ranging from 8-25 lbs. And my wife, Nikki, and I have been sharing full-time Dog Mom duties for over 5 years. In October 2025, we lost our good boy, Eddie, after a long decline during which I learned to comfortably administer insulin. Now, our sweet rescue girl, Moxy (age 9 or 10), has no fur friends to spend time with. While not required, I prefer to care for dogs who are comfortable with Moxy tagging along for walks and house-sits. She is a well behaved, house-trained, 9-year-old Maltese-Mini Schnauzer mix who is, as we like to say, "just happy to be there." She is good with most dogs, but becomes avoidant of dogs who get overly excited and rough. She plays very gently. I am available for dog walks, drop ins or day sits anytime after 9am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Mondays and Thursdays are my focused work days, so I am only available after 5pm. I am also available for pet sitting any day of the week, as long as your pets are able to be left alone for up to 4 hours per day on weekdays. I can provide you with frequent updates, along with cute photos and videos so you can feel assured that your pets are well cared for. I work from home, meaning your pets will rarely be alone. They will get walks, belly rubs, potty breaks, and play time as desired. My work schedule is mostly flexible, allowing me to give your dog or cat plenty of attention and care throughout the day. My job requires about 15 hours per week of focused time spent at my home office. That work is usually done on Mondays and Thursdays, however, I can spread it out over the week to decrease the time that I'd need to be away from your pets if your trip falls on those days. You know your pet(s) best, so we can discuss the preferred way for me to accommodate them. Please let me know if you're comfortable with our well-behaved, house-trained, small dog Moxy visiting your house or joining for walks with your dog(s). She'd love the socialization. But if it's a no, that's okay. Please note, I am not comfortable caring for pets who: - cannot be left alone - fight to receive required medication - are not spayed/neutered - are aggressive - are incontinent - are fully blind - are likely to require multiple bathroom breaks overnight - are over 40 lbs (unless they are calm/not jumpy and good on a leash). About: I was born into a home with dogs, have always had them and have rescued, raised and cared for several Dogs and other pets for over 30 years back home. We did not have 24 hour pet care provisions so my family and I had to sometimes give pets urgent care ourselves. I have cleaned and dressed wounds, delivered puppies and much more. Canines are THE absolute best. I adore them..most times more than people ;), but do not have any pets right now; this feels like a great way to contribute to our community and fill the dog shaped hole in my heart. I am a performing artist and am currently working part-time, so I have plenty of flexibility and lots of time for your precious fur babies. Although I board one dog at a time, I am happy to take multiple dogs if they are from the same family/household. I live very close to Coquitlam centre and there are several parks, trails and the river close by where I can take them to play etc.
