About: Hi there! I've loved dogs ever since I can remember. I was finally lucky enough to get my own dog in 2007. Buddy was my amazing companion and taught me so much. He unfortunately passed away in 2022 and I was/still am devestated. I'm excited to be able to surround myself with dogs (as my hubby (Josh)and I are not mentally ready to get another one). My husband Josh is amazing with dogs, he always treated my dog as his own (one of the reasons why I fell in love with him)! I am a home-based travel agent which allows me to book trips for you and watch your pup while you're away! This allows me to have an extremely flexible schedule to better care for your pup! I love exploring new trails and parks, taking pictures and I have tons of toys and games and enrichment for your dog. We look forward to sharing our home and hearts with your pup! Being an home-based travel agent with no structured schedule makes it easy for me to be flexible with my schedule. I'm available for daily walks (whichever length is needed), daily dog sitting (at my condo) and overnight boarding (at my condo). I provide lots of toys, healthy treats and snacks and puzzles for enrichment. My condo is in Port Coquitlam and I'm on the ground floor for easy accessibility. Must be potty trained. I live in a dog friendly condo in Port Coquitlam. I'm on the ground floor for easy accessibility. There are several parks and trails near my place. I have a car to take dogs further out of Poco to try new parks and trails. I also have dog stairs for easy accessibility for small or older dogs to get onto the couch or bed. I also have a dog stroller to take on walks if I have dogs of different energy levels. My husband also helps me out with taking care of the dogs when he's home. He's great with them, one of the reasons I fell in love with him, he treated my dog like his. All the dogs are allowed on the bed and couch.

About: Good with taking care of cats they make me happy they are so cute I enjoy their company I have taken care of lots of animals in the last few years I currently do not work right now I'm on disability so the extra cash would be great it fits into my daily routine well thanks I currently don't have any pets right now but I take care of the animals love them feed them play with them and generally enjoy pets in general

About: I was a dog-mom for 8 years before losing my boy to cancer in June 2024. Believe me when I say, I love dogs more than I can put into words. They are a constant reminder of what is good and beautiful about this world and I truly do love them all like they are my own. I am exceptionally knowledgeable and skilled at caring for senior dogs with high medical, emotional and physical health needs as well as anxious dogs. While my dog was with me, he was under the care of a Naturopath, a GP vet, an Internal Medicine Specialist and a Cardiologist, and he attended biweekly Hydrotherapy sessions in early 2024. He also ate homecooked meals, under advisement from his Naturopath, before transitioning to speciality food. I am available to help in Coquitlam , Port Coquitlam and Port Moody so, drop me a line -- I can't wait to meet you and your fur-baby :) I work from home 3 days a week so, I can make time to walk your dog (within Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody) or, if you'd like, I would look after your dog in my home office while I work. About: What sets me apart? I am confident with large dogs, including farm and guard dogs! I discovered a love for big dogs when my mum adopted a hound mix who grew to be a 120lb wrecking ball of dopey energy. I've had a soft spot for the big ones ever since, and take particular pleasure in befriending them. I believe communication between human and dog is critical. A person's body language and tone of voice can say more to a dog than words ever could. That means I physically get down onto their level for affection, I use positive reinforcement consistently, I talk with them throughout walks, and I keep an eye on their body language as well for signs of happiness, fear, apprehension, etc. I'm confident walking on city streets, in forests/on trails, and in off-leash zones. This includes checking in with you for specific command words, encouraged and discouraged behaviours and their corresponding rewards/corrections, social situations to work on or avoid, favourite routes, etc. Personally, my pet cat receives as much attention as I can give him. He is highly affectionate, so is usually parked on my lap or somewhere nearby. I used treats/positive reinforcement to train him to shake a paw and sit down. My great fear for my little guy, and for all pets, really, is that he is bored, understimulated, or lonely. Because of this, I pay special attention to making sure that he is being physically and mentally stimulated in addition to affection. That means exercise and puzzles! I love to find simple games whether we're outside or inside - find-the-thing, makeshift tunnels to run through (if you're brave), seeking out tiny forest creatures to discover, etc. I'm always looking for new brain games for dogs, so if you have a favourite, let me know!

Victoria is awesome! We've contacted her a couple times now to comes and feed our cats and she's always done an amazing job. The last time we booked her, we actually had to cancel last minute because one of our cats had to go to the vet and we had to cancel our plans. She was extremely accommodating and understanding, and we were able to get a full refund with her help. This time, I had to fly out to Ontario last minute, and she was able to help us out. No issues at all. Our cats love her. 100% recommend!
Tammy looked after our two cats for the first time over spring break and everything went great. Tammy is friendly, energetic, and has an obvious love for the animals. Our cats warmed up to her really fast (even the skittish one) and we were pleased with how the house looked when we got home. I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again.
Mahshid did morning drop-in visits for Simba(Yorkshire Terrier) & Nala(cat) for 7 days. The experience was great and very positive. I received daily updates and pictures about the pets. She informed me of whether they ate their meals. She would take Simba on his daily walks and would inform me if he did/didn't do his business. She also acted on any further instructions that I would giver her. Mahshid has a very caring nature and the pets thoroughly enjoyed having her around. I was soooo grateful that Arian was available to take our senior doggo Nina for a couple walks while I was gone on holiday. It was the day before I headed into a big work contract and there were still two days I could not find support. I checked Rover for the first time and found Arian. He was communicative and sent lots of pictures of him and Nina as well as updates making me feel secure.
