I’m on this app to find my Shih-poo some good doggy friends! She’s gentle and friendly and I’m looking for similar personalities. I have a work-from-home job and this allows me to take care of pets. My dog goes out four times a day and your dog will go out with her. So approximately 7.30 am, noon, 4 pm and 9 pm unless we have a puppy over in which case it’s more often. During work hours in the afternoon the walk is short.

When we go outside your dog will never be off-leash. At home I will follow your care instructions to the T. This is like your child who can’t speak so feel free to be very clear about your requirements. I have hand fed pets, brushed their teeth and clipped their nails. They will get the same attention as my dog.

Information Rena S. would like to know about your pet

For your dog boarding or daycare I’d like to know what the usual schedule is -wake up, go out, food and sleep and also how sociable your pet is. There are some dogs who are fine off-leash but some bite – odd yes but that happened too and I have no way of knowing unless we meet near a small doggie park so you need to let me everything when you text me because if there’s any signs of aggression I’ll pass. For dog walking share your experience while walking your dog like passion for squirrels lol, should I expect them to eat off streets- sticks, etc. , reactive behaviour to other dogs or people etc. Let me know wild animals hotspots if any in your area. I’ve walked a reactive large breed three-legged dog a day after adoption so I can train the owner. For other pets like gecko’s etc I need specific written instructions even though they’re ridiculously easy to take care of. I have attached some pictures of the tiny creatures.

A typical day

A visit to a quiet park nearby or around Lafarge lake is our favourite thing to and we try to go for a longer walk if the weather permits.

Pet care experience

My building only allows two pets per condo. I live in a three bedroom condo with water proof vinyl flooring. There are two people in the condo. So if your pet is used to sleeping in a large crate or playpen we can place that in the guest room. I will do a meet and greet before accepting the request to ensure both pets get along. I have found that most Sheeba’s, German Shepherd’s, Border Collies, French bulldogs, Yorkshires and Corgis did not get along well with my dog. Also alpha dogs who are more people friendly than dog friendly can generally show signs of aggression when with another dog in a new home. Therefore I avoid accepting these requests for boarding or daycare. The size of pets I am able to accept for boarding or daycare is 20 lbs or less. Dog walking- I walk Bernese mountain dogs who are heavy pullers and reactive to sound/bears and three legged dogs fearful of other dogs and certain people using positive reinforcements; see the last few pics. Remember, Rover does not let us charge separately for different types/sizes of dogs and I walk all breeds so you may expect changes to prices when I assess your pet. You pay Rover online and Rover takes 30% commission and adds some admin fees too. If you want to see pictures of my apartment please see the photos or video call me. If you have very specific requirements please let me know before I accept the request. Prefer to limit pickup and drop off between 7 am to 10 pm.
