About: I worked at animal emerge clinic of the Fraser Valley for almost 4 years and I love taking care of animals and giving them the love that they deserve. I am pretty flexible right now, I start dance again in September so I will update this when I know my schedule a little bit better. About: I grew up with two dogs, two cats and 5 reptiles, and have always loved animals! Now, I have three dogs of my own, all rescued. I've gained a lot of experience training my dogs myself, but I've also worked with a number of professional trainers who specialize in dog behaviour and reactivity. This experience has not only helped me better understand and manage my own dogs' behaviour, it has also led me to find my passion for working with animals and their humans to help them live their best lives together! I have completed The Dog Walker Certificate and The Daycare & Boarding Management Certificate through The Good Dog in Port Moody and believe in positive reinforcement training. It's important to me that your dog always feels safe in my care. I also love taking photos, especially of dogs, and have worked with local rescues to photograph some adoption events. (1 free pet portrait with a professional camera per walk booked) I'm currently doing shift work and have a very flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate for your dogs needs! She’s the sweetest thing in the world, and I walk her at least twice a day, feed her, and make sure she gets the play time and attention she deserves. Nikki was an angel with my boy Eugene! Having this be my first time using Rover I was nervous to trust someone I didn’t know with my pet, especially when my boy can be timid and a tad spicy. From the jump Nikki put me at ease by coming by to meet Eugene with me present and build a bond with him. Nikki was a cat whisperer with Eugene; getting down to his level, speaking to him, singing to him, etc. I could see him relax with her which was a big relief.
