About: What sets me apart? I am confident with large dogs, including farm and guard dogs! I discovered a love for big dogs when my mum adopted a hound mix who grew to be a 120lb wrecking ball of dopey energy. I've had a soft spot for the big ones ever since, and take particular pleasure in befriending them. I believe communication between human and dog is critical. A person's body language and tone of voice can say more to a dog than words ever could. That means I physically get down onto their level for affection, I use positive reinforcement consistently, I talk with them throughout walks, and I keep an eye on their body language as well for signs of happiness, fear, apprehension, etc. I'm confident walking on city streets, in forests/on trails, and in off-leash zones. I just need to know what your pup is most comfortable with and we'll go from there! I am keen to operate within the parameters and routines you've established inside and outside your home, in order to maintain continuity for your pet. This includes checking in with you for specific command words, encouraged and discouraged behaviours and their corresponding rewards/corrections, social situations to work on or avoid, favourite routes, etc. Personally, my pet cat receives as much attention as I can give him. He is highly affectionate, so is usually parked on my lap or somewhere nearby. I used treats/positive reinforcement to train him to shake a paw and sit down. My great fear for my little guy, and for all pets, really, is that he is bored, understimulated, or lonely. Because of this, I pay special attention to making sure that he is being physically and mentally stimulated in addition to affection. That means exercise and puzzles! I love to find simple games whether we're outside or inside - find-the-thing, makeshift tunnels to run through (if you're brave), seeking out tiny forest creatures to discover, etc. I'm always looking for new brain games for dogs, so if you have a favourite, let me know!

About: I have a deep love for animals and for treating them with love and respect. I am patient, kind, and fun. Growing up, we had many kittens and puppies that we raised and nurtured to be fine adult cats and dogs. I’m currently transitioning from a high pressure corporate career to a more relaxed and peaceful phase and have lots of time available for pet sitting, walking and checking in. I’m available most days and evenings, including weekends. I can care for pets in their homes, I am conscientious of what pet parents require. I appreciate clear communication. I’m also happy to care for elderly pets or those who require special attention.

About: Although I've never owned a dog myself, that's because I've always understood the level of time, commitment, and responsibility they deserve. I grew up around dogs, have lived with dogs for much of my life, and regularly care for my parents' two Toy Australian Shepherds whenever they're away. They're a mother and daughter duo with very different personalities and needs. The mother is a senior with hip issues who benefits from extra patience and mobility support, while her daughter has anxiety and does best with a calm, reassuring approach and a consistent routine. Being Toy Australian Shepherds, they're also incredibly intelligent and active, so I'm used to dogs that thrive on structure, engagement, and paying close attention to their individual needs. While I don't have experience with every unique medical or behavioural situation, I've been around a wide variety of dog personalities, energy levels, and temperaments. I pay close attention to canine body language, respect each dog's boundaries, and believe that building trust is far more important than forcing interactions. Whether I'm taking your dog for a walk, stopping by for a drop-in visit, spending the day with them, or caring for them overnight, I'll treat them with the same patience, attention, and respect I give the dogs in my own life. If your dog has a routine or needs I'm unfamiliar with, I'm always happy to do my research beforehand and carefully follow your instructions. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away! Right now I have a pretty open and flexible schedule, so I'm able to work around most pet care needs. Some mornings and around midday I'm busy babysitting my baby brother, but outside of that I have lots of availability for walks, drop ins, day visits, and overnight stays. I like planning ahead and making sure I have enough time to give each pet the attention they deserve instead of trying to rush from one booking to the next! I'll mostly be caring for pets in their own home because that's where they're usually the happiest and most comfortable. My goal is to keep their routine as normal as possible by following your instructions closely, respecting your home, and making sure your pet feels safe while you're away. In some cases I may be able to care for pets in my home, but it will depend on the pet. I live in a small one bedroom basement suite with my two senior cats, who are very sweet but also very timid. Because of that, I'd only consider pets that are calm, cat friendly, and comfortable in a quieter environment. No matter where I'm caring for your pet, I'll pay close attention to their behaviour, body language, and routine. I know every animal is different, and I think noticing the little things can make a big difference in helping them feel comfortable.

About: I was fortunate enough to grow up in a family with lots of animals and my mom was a vet tech so not only was I allowed to go to work with her and learn a lot of different medical things regarding cats and dogs, but I also helped out with babysitting housesitting a lot of animals with medical conditions. As a pet owner, I also understand the feeling of when you need help with your animals and having somebody that you know that cares and respect your animals just as much as you do. I work full-time, but I am more available in the evenings or during the night if you are doing a graveyard or a 12 hour shift where you need to have relief for your animal I treat them with respect and I would treat them as they were my own. It to ensure that they are comfortable and all their needs are being met.

About: From a young age I have always had a love for animals. At age 11 I got my first puppy, a Great Dane named Lucy. Lucy ended up having severe reactivity towards other dogs. Through her I quickly realized I had a passion and natural talent for dog training and soon decided to pursue a career in the training field. I have dabbled in many sports such as flyball, agility, rally, nosework, disc, and even some lure coursing! I rescued a dog of my very own in 2014, a very anxious, high energy, one year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Charles. I didn't give up on Charlie, and through training, lots of structure in his daily outings, and patience, Charlie is still my beloved companion years later. I learnt so much through Charlie, and I believe strongly that the best way to have a healthy, happy dog is through a balance of exercise, enrichment, training, and a positive bond with their owner, and hope to help people enjoy each and everyday with their canine friends! I specifically love specifically to work with German Shepherd and Shepherd mixes, as a “Shepherd Person” myself and have lots of experience with large, strong, and reactive dogs. About: I know how to teach a couple tricks and I understand how different breads act different and maybe react in different ways because of it I work full time and my schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm, as of right now I don’t have any more sports going on so my evenings are pretty open besides some errands I don’t do in home sitting at my place right now but if I am at your place I want to make sure your pets doesn’t feel like I’m invading their space but making sure they still meet their routine and needs as normal

I’m attentive on walks (I’m familiar with the tries-to-eat-everything and the makes-it-weird-on-leash variety of dog), and I’m tuned in and present when dogs are in my home (I’m also familiar with the counter-surfing, toy shredding, sock eating variety of dog). I have a dedicated basement suite that is set up to be a safe and comfortable pup haven, with easy access to a large, securely fenced backyard. Whether your pup is a couch dog, floor dog, crate dog or bed dog, I have all the surfaces. I’m present with the dogs when they’re in my home, and provide a loving space and as many ear/chin/head/belly/butt scratches as your dog could possibly want!

About: My background in caregiving and my natural patience with both people and animals. I understand that every dog has different needs, personalities, and comfort levels. As a parent and caregiver, I'm used to being responsible, attentive, and adaptable. I'm also Pet First Aid certified and committed to providing a safe, positive experience for every dog in my care. As someone who has ADHD and autism, I often notice details others might miss and take routines and instructions seriously, which helps me provide consistent, individualized care. I believe pets are family, and I treat them with the same kindness, respect, and attention I would want for my own Dog walking is the perfect combination of exercise, companionship, and helping pet owners feel confident their pets are receiving quality care. I was recently diagnosed with autism and ADHD at 28 years old and I find most of my comfort with my families dog (Dotty) who I walk everyday. Throughout the day, we spend time outside exploring local trails, parks, or neighborhood walks, depending on the weather and her energy level. I make sure she always has fresh water, plenty of attention, and opportunities for play When caring for pets, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible, I understand like people dogs also have different personalities that all have different needs. For example, If a pet is shy or nervous, I'll give them space and let them approach me at their own pace. If they're energetic, I'll make sure they get plenty of physical and mental stimulation to keep them happy and engaged.

About: Years of experience fostering rescue cats and kittens, as well as caring for dogs at a daycare and boarding facility. I have experience raised large breed gods from pupoystage to adulthood, caring for anxious/reactive dogs, and training advanced obedience with my own dogs. I focus on calm, patient, individualized care tailored to each pet’s personality and needs. I am available for your furry friend on weekends and stat holidays and very flexible throughout the day. General weekday availability includes Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings after 6pm. I have a seperate room for your furry friend to keep them safe. Leash walks or play time on a long line in my private yard inclusive. I always ensure that no pet escapes and they are kept safe.
