About: I've owned animals of all kinds for my whole life, including dogs, cats, snakes, bunnies, and chickens. I am very comfortable with reactive animals and understand that each pet is different and unique! I love being around animals and ensuring they get the best possible care. I am currently working part time and taking university classes. However, I have plenty of time in the mornings and evenings (and sometimes all day) to take care of your pets! I am more than able to fit pet sitting into my schedule as well as my part time job is flexible. Whenever I walk a dog I ensure that they get plenty of time to smell around and get proper enrichment! My Eurasier, Willow, and I are out for walks 3-4 times a day, and we usually head out on moderate hikes on the weekends. Visiting dogs join in on that routine, so they get consistent exercise, mental stimulation, and structure, while still having plenty of downtime to rest and recharge. Because I work from home, I'm around to keep a close eye on your dog throughout the day. Within the last few years I have lived in a household with 2 large huskies, one with reactivity issues, and was a regular part of their daily feeding, care and exercise routines. And my wife, Nikki, and I have been sharing full-time Dog Mom duties for over 5 years. In October 2025, we lost our good boy, Eddie, after a long decline during which I learned to comfortably administer insulin. Now, our sweet rescue girl, Moxy (age 9 or 10), has no fur friends to spend time with. While not required, I prefer to care for dogs who are comfortable with Moxy tagging along for walks and house-sits. She is a well behaved, house-trained, 9-year-old Maltese-Mini Schnauzer mix who is, as we like to say, "just happy to be there." She is good with most dogs, but becomes avoidant of dogs who get overly excited and rough. She plays very gently. I am available for dog walks, drop ins or day sits anytime after 9am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Mondays and Thursdays are my focused work days, so I am only available after 5pm. I am also available for pet sitting any day of the week, as long as your pets are able to be left alone for up to 4 hours per day on weekdays. They will get walks, belly rubs, potty breaks, and play time as desired. My work schedule is mostly flexible, allowing me to give your dog or cat plenty of attention and care throughout the day. My job requires about 15 hours per week of focused time spent at my home office. That work is usually done on Mondays and Thursdays, however, I can spread it out over the week to decrease the time that I'd need to be away from your pets if your trip falls on those days. You know your pet(s) best, so we can discuss the preferred way for me to accommodate them. Please let me know if you're comfortable with our well-behaved, house-trained, small dog Moxy visiting your house or joining for walks with your dog(s). She'd love the socialization. But if it's a no, that's okay. Please note, I am not comfortable caring for pets who: - cannot be left alone - fight to receive required medication - are not spayed/neutered - are aggressive - are incontinent - are fully blind - are likely to require multiple bathroom breaks overnight - are over 40 lbs (unless they are calm/not jumpy and good on a leash). At this time, I'm not able to board pets at our home, but I'm happy to come spend time with your pets in the comfort of their home.

About: Hi, I'm Karlee! I'm a grad student who pretty much grew up taking care of a zoo and absolutely adores animals of all shapes and sizes -- furry, feathery, scaley, or hooved. Whether it's bottle feeding 7 kittens at one time, pulling porcupine quills, caring for a senior epileptic puppy mill dog, searching mountainsides for baby calves in a snowstorm, or providing first aid to alpacas, there isn't much I haven't seen or experienced. Now, onto how much I will love your pets (which is the most important part)! I have always had a lot of animals and had to leave many at home when I first came to Canada for university from the US in 2017. That inspired my love for dog walking and pet sitting, as it gave me an outlet to love everyone else's animals when I couldn't be with my own. I now have my own chickens, geckos, and two border collies, Buzz and Eddy. We are very active in the local dog sports community. This has continued to foster my love for animals and provide me with even further experience working with and around different types of dogs and their needs.
