Leaving a pet for the first time and for that long can be stressful, but we were completely at ease thanks to the frequent updates and obvious love Charlie received. He had an absolute blast and was treated like family. It was so comforting to see and gave us peace of mind that our Charlie looking so happy and relaxed while we were away. “This was my fourth time booking with Vivian, and she never disappoints. She didn’t miss a beat with daily updates, especially when it came to administering Leo’s medication. She even went the extra mile by changing the garbage, which I hadn’t requested. On top of that, she checked in on my return day and offered to stop by in case I was delayed—such a thoughtful and reliable sitter!”

“Kat was a lovely and trustworthy cat-sitter. Leo can be a bit of a scaredy-cat, but he warmed up to her fast. She went above and beyond, even going so far as to bring special treats and teach Leo a trick! <3 I felt totally at ease with her checking on my cat and monitoring the house while away for a whole month. Kept her appointments and sent me updates every visit.”

“Viktoriia was a wonderful addition to our household while we were away. Milo, our cat, did so well under her attention. She was respectful, communicative, punctual and left our home spotless. I really appreciated every few days getting an update and photo of Milo on what he might have been up to that day. I will certainly be booking Viktoriia again. Having peace of mind everything will be ok when you are away was a gamechanger for us.”

About: Hi there! My name is Nicole, and I'm a 38-year-old Etsy shop owner in Maple Ridge. I've had family dogs my entire life, ranging from 8-25 lbs. And my wife, Nikki, and I have been sharing full-time Dog Mom duties for over 5 years. In October 2025, we lost our good boy, Eddie, after a long decline during which I learned to comfortably administer insulin. Now, our sweet rescue girl, Moxy (age 9 or 10), has no fur friends to spend time with. While not required, I prefer to care for dogs who are comfortable with Moxy tagging along for walks and house-sits. She is a well behaved, house-trained, 9-year-old Maltese-Mini Schnauzer mix who is, as we like to say, "just happy to be there." She is good with most dogs, but becomes avoidant of dogs who get overly excited and rough. She plays very gently. I am available for dog walks, drop ins or day sits anytime after 9am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Mondays and Thursdays are my focused work days, so I am only available after 5pm. I am also available for pet sitting any day of the week, as long as your pets are able to be left alone for up to 4 hours per day on weekdays. For new clients, I would like to schedule an in person meet-and-greet to ensure we are a good fit for each other. If you’re interested, please send a message with details about your pets and desired services. I'm happy to answer any questions :) Thanks!! WALKING + DROP INS + DAY SITS I am available for dog walks, drop ins or day sits anytime after 9am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Mondays and Thursdays are my focused work days, so I am only available after 5pm. **I usually take an hour during Mon/Thurs to take our dog, Moxy, for a walk, so I have room for 1 more doggo to join us during those days. HOUSE-SITTING: I will treat your home with the utmost respect. I’m happy to water your plants and bring in the mail, and I will of course tidy up to ensure you can't even tell I was there. I can provide you with frequent updates, along with cute photos and videos so you can feel assured that your pets are well cared for. I work from home, meaning your pets will rarely be alone. They will get walks, belly rubs, potty breaks, and play time as desired. My work schedule is mostly flexible, allowing me to give your dog or cat plenty of attention and care throughout the day. My job requires about 15 hours per week of focused time spent at my home office. That work is usually done on Mondays and Thursdays, however, I can spread it out over the week to decrease the time that I'd need to be away from your pets if your trip falls on those days. You know your pet(s) best, so we can discuss the preferred way for me to accommodate them. Please let me know if you're comfortable with our well-behaved, house-trained, small dog Moxy visiting your house or joining for walks with your dog(s). She'd love the socialization. But if it's a no, that's okay. At this time, I'm not able to board pets at our home, but I'm happy to come spend time with your dogs in the comfort of their home.
About: Im a middle aged woman transitioning out of a career in health care. My kids are grown and dogs are the children I live but don’t want. I have two of my own fur babies and they are pampered beyond reason. I work casually at a other job but am typically available on Tuesday’s or Wednesdays. I can always add more depending on availability. I prefer to walk earlier in the day. I believe in a gentle hand and a lot of talking. I will do my best to follow the directions you leave as their pet parent :).
“Tammy looked after our two cats for the first time over spring break and everything went great. Tammy is friendly, energetic, and has an obvious love for the animals. Our cats warmed up to her really fast (even the skittish one) and we were pleased with how the house looked when we got home. I wouldn't hesitate to hire her again.”

About: From a young age I have always had a love for animals. At age 11 I got my first puppy, a Great Dane named Lucy. Lucy ended up having severe reactivity towards other dogs. Through her I quickly realized I had a passion and natural talent for dog training and soon decided to pursue a career in the training field. I have dabbled in many sports such as flyball, agility, rally, nosework, disc, and even some lure coursing! I rescued a dog of my very own in 2014, a very anxious, high energy, one year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Charles. I didn't give up on Charlie, and through training, lots of structure in his daily outings, and patience, Charlie is still my beloved companion years later. I learnt so much through Charlie, and I believe strongly that the best way to have a healthy, happy dog is through a balance of exercise, enrichment, training, and a positive bond with their owner, and hope to help people enjoy each and everyday with their canine friends! I specifically love specifically to work with German Shepherd and Shepherd mixes, as a “Shepherd Person” myself and have lots of experience with large, strong, and reactive dogs. My Resume Includes: -NESDECA Certified Detection Dog Team/Handler -12+ Years of dog training and walking experience -Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT, PCTIA Certified, Good Dog Academy) -Graduate of Holly and Hugo Academy's Animal Psychology, Pet Adoption, Pet Nutrition, Animal Training and Pet Sitting, and Dog Grooming courses -Taken Dr Ian Dunbar's Crucial Concepts in Dog behaviour and Training (Over 10 hours of lecture) -Senior Trainer at SpiritDog Training I currently work as a trainer. Previously I used to do dog walking but stopped over the pandemic. I’ve missed it and would like to take on a small group of clients to get back into walking and walk & trains! I treat all pets as if they were my own and pride myself that my clients dogs will receive all the same effort and care as my own dogs do, and the level of care I would expect my dogs to receive in the care of others.
“Chelsie was awesome! Leo (cat) loves her. She obviously gave him lots of love and attention. Everything was clean and tidy. She sent us clear messages and photos. I definitely recommend her to mind your fur babies. Thanks so much, Chelsie!”

“Lisa is an amazing cat sitter! She kept us up to date each day and made sure our cat was loved and cared for. She is very kind and reliable. We'd love to book her again in the future!”

“Justine took excellent care of my two cats while I was away and provided daily updates with adorable photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. One of my cats is diabetic and can be quite difficult when it comes to insulin injections, but Justine was incredibly patient and persistent. She never gave up, and eventually both cats warmed up to her, which was such a relief. I missed my cats so much during my vacation, but knowing they were in such caring and capable hands made it much easier to relax. I truly appreciated Justine’s professionalism, compassion, and dedication. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.”

“We had such a positive experience booking daycare with Lu! Our dog, Gus, enjoyed himself so much playing with the other dogs -and we knew he was in good hands. We appreciated the photos/videos and updates throughout the day and the pick up/drop off process was seamless. Gus can’t wait to go back! :)”

“Olga was an amazing sitter for us! Gansey is a very nervous dog but he settled right in at her home and even slept for a few hours! Whenever we’re back in Vancouver, we’re definitely booking with Olga!”

About: I have experience caring for both large and small dogs, including senior dogs who need a little extra attention and medication administration. My home is pet-free, ensuring a calm and comfortable environment for your pup. I work part-time from home with a flexible schedule, allowing me to give your pets plenty of attention throughout the day. As an active person, I walk daily, so your dog will enjoy regular outdoor time. I’m available for overnight boarding, including weekends, or just dog walking—whatever fits your needs best. While I live in a townhouse without a backyard, I’m located near walking trails and can take your pet out regularly for potty breaks. They’ll have full access to our home, and I also have space for a crate if that’s part of their routine.
“As first time users of Rover, we were pleased that Deborah and Mark immediately accepted our request to take care of Harper, our Golden Retriever, in their home for four hours while we attended a family event. Harper settled right away in their home and fenced backyard, and we felt comfortable leaving him in their care. We were pleased with photos they sent to us during his stay. We would gladly rebook with Deborah & Mark in the future and recommend them to others.”

About: I’ve been providing day care, boarding, walks, bathroom and water breaks for dogs of all dispositions and needs for over 8 years now. I have experience with dogs who are reactive, disabled, elderly, grumpy, easy going, good on leash, terrible on leash, love other dogs, hate other dogs and everything in between! I am skilled at reading dog behaviour and energy shifts, and anticipating and diffusing undesirable interactions between dogs. I will provide continuity with training goals and language if that’s where you’re at, and I have experience with dogs with medical conditions who need some extra help and lots of patience. I have several long term clients and can happily provide references. Canine care is my full time job, and I take it very seriously. I am accommodating, flexible and responsive, and can work with you to come up with a schedule that works for you and your pup. From one offs and last minute requests, to long term, predictable scheduling, I’m just happy to get to spend time with your pup! I am canine first aid certified, and I’m cautious and caring. I’m attentive on walks (I’m familiar with the tries-to-eat-everything and the makes-it-weird-on-leash variety of dog), and I’m tuned in and present when dogs are in my home (I’m also familiar with the counter-surfing, toy shredding, sock eating variety of dog). I have a dedicated basement suite that is set up to be a safe and comfortable pup haven, with easy access to a large, securely fenced backyard. Whether your pup is a couch dog, floor dog, crate dog or bed dog, I have all the surfaces. I’m present with the dogs when they’re in my home, and provide a loving space and as many ear/chin/head/belly/butt scratches as your dog could possibly want!

About: *Willing to go off the app!* Although I've never owned a dog myself, that's because I've always understood the level of time, commitment, and responsibility they deserve. I grew up around dogs, have lived with dogs for much of my life, and regularly care for my parents' two Toy Australian Shepherds whenever they're away. They're a mother and daughter duo with very different personalities and needs. The mother is a senior with hip issues who benefits from extra patience and mobility support, while her daughter has anxiety and does best with a calm, reassuring approach and a consistent routine. Being Toy Australian Shepherds, they're also incredibly intelligent and active, so I'm used to dogs that thrive on structure, engagement, and paying close attention to their individual needs. While I don't have experience with every unique medical or behavioural situation, I've been around a wide variety of dog personalities, energy levels, and temperaments. I pay close attention to canine body language, respect each dog's boundaries, and believe that building trust is far more important than forcing interactions. Whether I'm taking your dog for a walk, stopping by for a drop-in visit, spending the day with them, or caring for them overnight, I'll treat them with the same patience, attention, and respect I give the dogs in my own life. If your dog has a routine or needs I'm unfamiliar with, I'm always happy to do my research beforehand and carefully follow your instructions. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away! Right now I have a pretty open and flexible schedule, so I'm able to work around most pet care needs. Some mornings and around midday I'm busy babysitting my baby brother, but outside of that I have lots of availability for walks, drop ins, day visits, and overnight stays. I like planning ahead and making sure I have enough time to give each pet the attention they deserve instead of trying to rush from one booking to the next! I'll mostly be caring for pets in their own home because that's where they're usually the happiest and most comfortable. My goal is to keep their routine as normal as possible by following your instructions closely, respecting your home, and making sure your pet feels safe while you're away. In some cases I may be able to care for pets in my home, but it will depend on the pet. I live in a small one bedroom basement suite with my two senior cats, who are very sweet but also very timid. Because of that, I'd only consider pets that are calm, cat friendly, and comfortable in a quieter environment. No matter where I'm caring for your pet, I'll pay close attention to their behaviour, body language, and routine. I know every animal is different, and I think noticing the little things can make a big difference in helping them feel comfortable.
“Karina was great with my dog she gave her lots of attention and love. She also sent me lots of updates. She's great with dogs that are nervous. And knows how to make them feel calm and comfortable.”
“Anne (and Macy) were great ! We had a meet and greet visit and left feeling confident that Deuce would be in good hands. We may need a couple of more trial sessions before both the dogs are comfortable. Definitely recommend Anne - you can see her genuine care and love for animals.”

“Melissa was amazing with our dog, Storm! She even offered us a trial beforehand, which made us feel so comfortable leaving Storm for the first time. Throughout the stay, Melissa kept us updated with pictures and texts, which really helped ease our minds. We could tell Storm was happy and well cared for. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving and reliable dog sitter!”

“Priya was very nice with them. Did her best to make my dogs feel comfortable and break the ice. I was really anxious about leaving them with a dog sitter since they usually stay with friends, so I left them for few hours with Priya as a trial. It turned out great. They did so well with her. I’ll be leaving them with her for 3 nights in coming weeks.”

“Caring and safe, I highly recommend Connie and her home. My little girl is a bit reserved but they made her feel at home. She had walks and access to cozy places to sleep. Will be using Connie again.”

About: I grew up with two dogs, two cats and 5 reptiles, and have always loved animals! Now, I have three dogs of my own, all rescued. I've gained a lot of experience training my dogs myself, but I've also worked with a number of professional trainers who specialize in dog behaviour and reactivity. This experience has not only helped me better understand and manage my own dogs' behaviour, it has also led me to find my passion for working with animals and their humans to help them live their best lives together! I have completed The Dog Walker Certificate and The Daycare & Boarding Management Certificate through The Good Dog in Port Moody and believe in positive reinforcement training. It's important to me that your dog always feels safe in my care. I also love taking photos, especially of dogs, and have worked with local rescues to photograph some adoption events. Please let me know if you're interested in a pup portrait so I can bring my camera along on our adventures! (1 free pet portrait with a professional camera per walk booked) I'm currently doing shift work and have a very flexible schedule that allows me to accommodate for your dogs needs! I will have my calendar updated but feel free to message me as I might be able to accommodate one walk on some days I work! At this time I can't take care of dogs in my own home as one of my dogs is reactive to new dogs. But I'm happy to do drop in visits! Whatever the dog needs during the drop-in whether that's that's medication administration, feeding or just a snuggle on the couch!
“Caroline is awesome with my dogs, Dolly and Lenny who are a handful. I must say. They get so excited when they see her come to our door and really enjoy spending time with her. She is an amazing dog walker and I highly recommend using her”

“Victoria was fantastic with my dog! It was great she could take on such a full walking schedule, on such short notice, before my vacation for two weeks. I loved seeing the pics and videos and seeing where they walked. I could always see my dog wagging her tail (through the door bell camera) happy to see Victoria for her evening walk. It felt good to see my dog excited. Thanks a bunch! Hope you have time in October to help us.”

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have 4 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. Raising my own reactive quarantine pup taught me patience, structure, and positive reinforcement. I helped her become calmer and more comfortable around people, animals, and busy environments through consistent socialization and exposure training. I’m attentive to each dog’s unique personality and committed to providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment while you’re away. I am currently working part-time while focusing on online classes, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive pet care. I prioritize keeping pets comfortable by following their normal routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions provided by owners. I always make sure pets have fresh water, a clean environment, and lots of attention while in my care.
About: I have taken care of a few dachshunds and miniature pinchers for friends and family for about 6 years. Feeding, walking, and playing with them. I have grown up with cats as well. I believe that it is important to take each pet's individual personality and preferences into account when caring for them. I have experience with dogs with disabilities, more specifically I have been taking care of a dachshund with IVDD for 2 years, helping him get around and giving medication. He had 4 spinal surgeries over the past 2 years. I currently work for Rocky Mountaineer train, which is a seasonal job (April until mid October). I work from Friday to Monday. My open availability will be every Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday. I own a pet ramp for easy access to furniture that is accessible to small or disabled animals. If your pet needs medication, I encourage a detailed instructive list on how to make your pet as comfortable as possible for a swift recovery. Over all, my main goal is to make your pet feel safe and happy when the owner is away. I have 2 years experience with disabled dogs.
About: I've been a veterinary assistant for over 6 years. I am well adept at administering medication (oral, otic, topical, injections) to both cats and dogs. Feel rest assured that your fur baby will be well taken care of in health and mental wellbeing. As I am a full time vet assistant during the week I would be available before and after work past 6 pm on weekdays. Weekends will vary depending on my personal errands. I provide calm, attentive, and compassionate care while following each pet’s normal routine. I make sure they always have fresh water, appropriate meals, exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection based on their individual needs. I closely monitor for any changes in behaviour, appetite, or health and will keep you updated throughout their booking.
About: I've always grown up with animals, cats + dogs, and I truly understand the deep bond we share with our pets. I pride myself on providing a calm, safe, and loving environment for every animal I meet. Whether your pet needs long walks, gentle cuddles, or just a quiet presence to feel secure, I am highly attentive to their specific needs and daily routines. I currently work a hybrid schedule with flexible hours, balancing my part-time work and my own business. This allows me plenty of dedicated time to check in, walk, and play with your pets throughout the week. I am highly communicative and will always prioritize your pet's schedule and well-being! I am extremely detail-oriented, highly respectful of your space if I am sitting in your home, and always focus on maintaining a stress-free, regulated environment for your pets so they feel completely safe while you are away. My apartment is not pet friendly, so I love getting to enjoy staying somewhere that is!
About: I’m a loving pet parent to 2 boys at home. I make sure they’re well taken care of and living an active/healthy life style. I will treat your pup like my own so rest assured! I run my own business in the finance industry. By having the flexibility of setting my own schedule I can make time to ensure your pup is taken care of. I am currently not offering boarding. However I will make sure your pup is comfortable and maintain their current routine/schedule. If additional needs are needed to ensure your pets comfort - I would be more than happy to accommodate.

About: Hello there! My name is Kailyn and I am a very friendly, compassionate, enthusiastic, and self motivated individual who is a firm believer in giving back to the community and helping those in need in any way possible. I wake up every day wondering who will reach out to me next? Who will need my help? To help others is my mission. Help me help you! I am a fast responder and always eager to learn more to become a better pet parent. I totally understand what it’s like to have a busy schedule, so I am more than happy to help people balance their own when the need arises! I am reliable, meaning I will never leave the owner of a pet wondering if a sitter such as myself will ever arrive or not, and I am patient, knowing that an animal will not always act how you expect them to one hundred percent of the time. It does take a lot of patience and dedication. It is absolutely never a bad idea to get to know someone and their pet first before the owner feels they are comfortable leaving you with them. Making sure they’re a good fit! If you feel I am someone you wouldn’t mind looking after your furry friend, then please, feel free to contact me. I look forward to meeting you and your companion soon, and I hope you have yourself a wonderful day!

“We feel so fortunate to have found Walter and Angela. They lovingly cared for our sweet Lexi for ten days. Lexi is a high energy big pup who went for lots of adventures (walks!). They kindly sent us photos while we were away, which was very reassuring. Lexi is looking forward to her next visit to Walter and Angela’s!”
“Deborah and Mark are such kind people and took great care of our dogs while we were away for an extended period. They treated the dogs like members of their family, and took them on daily outings. We were able to fully enjoy our vacation knowing our dogs were in their care. We will use them again in a heartbeat.”

“Justine was an amazing sitter for my sweet girl Roca. She welcomed her into her home and loved her like she was her own. I will definitely use her again and highly recommend her for your pooch.”

“Randona was amazing with our dog. He had the best time with her and came back happy and satisfied. Lots of great updates and pics were supplied during our dog’s stay and you can tell that Randona really cares about the dogs she watches. 10/10 would rebook.”

“Riley has boarded at Lu’s twice now and both times I received a happy puppy back. Riley always has friends to play with at Lu’s and she really enjoys the outdoor space. Lu was great with communication and photos/videos and I knew Riley was in good hands. Will use her again for sure.”

“Heather is kind and knowledgable and welcomed our pup into her home happily. Communication was great and I enjoyed all the little updates and photos. Thank you Heather!”

“Incredible service, I used Tony & Jielei for the boarding service, and their house is amazingly conditioned to welcome dogs, the care and love they gave my Nala was amazing. All the daylight updates with pictures and videos made this first experience easy, we where very nervous and anxious and after their amazing service we just felt so happy that our dog had a great time. Thank you for your incredible service, we will be coming back.”

“Allison took wonderful care of Jammy during her stay. She kept us updated regularly with photos, which gave us great peace of mind, and followed all of the care instructions we provided. Jammy got along really well with Ollie, and it was heartwarming to see them playing together. She had such a great time that she came home completely exhausted! It was wonderful to see how comfortable and happy she was during her stay. Thank you, Allison, for taking such great care of Jammy. We would be happy to book with you again!”

“My experience with Rachael was top notch. She went above and beyond for my dog, Hudson, with updates and photos for me, and a fun, safe and loving experience for him. The icing on the cake is that she is so lovely and accommodating! I wouldn’t hesitate to book Rachael again and to recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter who you can trust and count on!”

“I was a bit nervous leaving my dog for the first time with someone I didn't know. But, by the time I picked up Luna from the sitter, I wasn't sure she would want to come home with me. Jennifer made me feel so comfortable leaving her for the weekend and sent me pictures and updates. And their dog is now friends with mine. I would highly recommend using Jennifer and Steve.”

“Virginie and Samuel were so great with our 8-month old pup Tango. They sent us regular updates and kept Tango active and happy. It was the puppy’s first time away from us and Virginie and Samuel gave him lots of love and reassurance. The minute we walked in, Tango already found a toy of theirs to play with. Thank you for taking such good care of our dog!”

“We couldn't have asked for a better sitter for Lychee! We left him with them for four days, and it was clear from the start that he was in great hands. They took excellent care of him, followed all of our instructions carefully, and treated him like part of their family. We especially appreciated the regular updates, photos, and quick communication throughout his stay. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing how he was doing. They even took him on car rides and made sure he had plenty of attention and enrichment. The biggest sign of all was how comfortable and happy Lychee was with them. He clearly loved spending time with them! We would absolutely book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and communicative dog sitter.”

“Denise and Paul are a gentle and loving couple, and they made our dogs, Dudley and Daisy feel so comfortable. They got spoiled rotten! They're pouting right now, as we only picked them up a couple of hours ago, and I think they are feeling cheated!”

They reply helped him feel comfortable in his new environment and really tried to know him so they could make his stay positive. I highly recommend Steven and Gloria and will be a repeat customer!”

“My puppy, Hunni had an amazing time and was very well taken care of. This was the first time leaving her for more than one night. I would 100% recommend them as well I will use them again for my next vacation or weekend away.”

It was clear right away how kind, attentive, and experienced her and her family are, and I really appreciated the communication, updates, and photos while I was away. My dog seemed so happy, comfortable, and well taken care of. It was really lovely knowing my dog was around Angela and her family — you can tell there’s a lot of care and positive energy in that environment. I would absolutely book with Angela again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and genuinely caring.”
