The moment my husband Jesse and I had the chance to have dogs of our own, we jumped at it, times two! We were lucky enough to share our lives with two sweet Boston Terriers, who lived to 13 and 12.5 years old. Losing them left a huge emptiness in our home, and spending time with our neighbours’, friends’ and Rover dogs has helped fill that space. 🐾 Experienced with: • Anxious & reactive pets • Puppies & energetic dogs • Senior pets • Medication & additional care needs I’m comfortable caring for pets with all kinds of personalities and needs. I understand that some pets need extra patience, space or a quieter environment to feel comfortable, and I’m happy to adjust their care and routine based on what works best for them. For boarding and daycare, I only care for one pet family at a time, so your dog won’t be sharing our home with dogs from other households. This allows me to give them lots of individual attention and personalize their stay around their normal routine and needs. At this time, I’m not offering extended boarding stays. 🐱 Cat Care: I love cats too! I grew up with cats in our home and have experience cat sitting for friends and neighbours. I’m happy to provide drop-in visits for feeding and fresh water, litter care, medication if needed, playtime and plenty of attention and cuddles for cats who want them. I’m home full-time and have lots of flexibility throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, daycare and boarding. I’m especially available during the day for regular weekday walks and drop-ins, including recurring weekly bookings. I’m also available mornings, evenings and weekends and can often accommodate last-minute requests. For dogs staying with me, being home throughout the day means plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, backyard time and the flexibility to follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible. 🐾 BOARDING AVAILABILITY: I currently offer boarding stays of **up to 10 nights**. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my priority. We have a fully fenced backyard and no pets of our own in the home. For daycare and boarding, I only accept one pet family at a time, so your dog won’t be sharing our home with dogs from other households. Our two pre-teen kids grew up with our Boston Terriers and understand how to respectfully interact with dogs and give them space when needed. I’m comfortable caring for anxious and reactive dogs, high-energy dogs, senior dogs, and pets who require medication or additional support. I’ll follow your pet’s usual routine and care instructions closely and adjust their environment, exercise and interaction based on their individual needs.

About: Having grown up with dogs, cats, horses and other animals, my passion for animals and animal care began young and has been lifelong. At a young age I became the trusted dog-sitter for friends & family, often doing overnights even as a teenager. As a young adult I have eagerly continued to care for friends pets as they travel or have work/ life commitments, and am exited to continue to do so for Rover clients. Within the last few years I have lived in a household with 2 large huskies, one with reactivity issues, and was a regular part of their daily feeding, care and exercise routines. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and reactivity levels. Please reach out if you have any specific questions or concerns. I currently have very flexible availability, and will do my best to adjust to your needs! Please reach out if you have any specific dates or times you would like that you do not currently see in my availability. I like to adjust to you and your pets routines as much as possible, to make the transition to a stranger easiest as possible on your pet. I am happy to arrange a meet-and-greet with you and your pet as well, so they have the opportunity to meet me before our first walk and/or my stay. Please let me know any specifics about your pet and/ or things they may need to feel most comfortable and relaxed while I am caring for them.

About: Ever since I got my first cat at the age of 5 and my first dog at the age of 7 I’ve loved to care and watch a pet grow and change, both my dogs became more playful and happier as time went on, and it seemed like the walks and time spent together was just as fun for me as it was for them. Not only do I have experience in loving and taking care of my own pets, I’ve also done so with my clients’ pets, spending weeks at a time in their homes focusing on the pets’ needs and wants. I am available full time for pet care and walks, no matter the day of the week or time, your pet is certainly the priority. I spend as much time as necessary with the pet, whilst I enjoy that time myself, thinking of their well-being, all the fun they can have and as many walks as necessary.

About: I've been a veterinary assistant for over 6 years. I am well adept at administering medication (oral, otic, topical, injections) to both cats and dogs. Feel rest assured that your fur baby will be well taken care of in health and mental wellbeing. As I am a full time vet assistant during the week I would be available before and after work past 6 pm on weekdays. Weekends will vary depending on my personal errands. I provide calm, attentive, and compassionate care while following each pet’s normal routine. I make sure they always have fresh water, appropriate meals, exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection based on their individual needs. I closely monitor for any changes in behaviour, appetite, or health and will keep you updated throughout their booking.

About: Hi, I'm Karlee! I'm a grad student who pretty much grew up taking care of a zoo and absolutely adores animals of all shapes and sizes -- furry, feathery, scaley, or hooved. Whether it's bottle feeding 7 kittens at one time, pulling porcupine quills, caring for a senior epileptic puppy mill dog, searching mountainsides for baby calves in a snowstorm, or providing first aid to alpacas, there isn't much I haven't seen or experienced. Now, onto how much I will love your pets (which is the most important part)! I have always had a lot of animals and had to leave many at home when I first came to Canada for university from the US in 2017. That inspired my love for dog walking and pet sitting, as it gave me an outlet to love everyone else's animals when I couldn't be with my own. I now have my own chickens, geckos, and two border collies, Buzz and Eddy. We are very active in the local dog sports community. This has continued to foster my love for animals and provide me with even further experience working with and around different types of dogs and their needs. I have also worked at a local structured boarding/daycare facility since 2024, where I have gained extensive experience caring for, managing, and fulfilling the needs of numerous dog breeds and personalities ranging from people/dog friendly dogs to human reactive and dog aggressive dogs. I can have a chill couch day with the calmest of them or provide enrichment, structure, and adventurous days for the busiest of minds. There isn't one animal I don't adore, and being a student who works remotely, I have a lot of flexibility and time to devote to them and a lot of extra love to give to them. It gives me something great to look forward to, and you the peace of mind when you're away from your best friend(s)! As I work from home, my schedule is extremely flexible to be able to cater to the needs of your pets, whether it be a drop-in visit or a walk. I own two high-energy working breed dogs and am used to spending lots of time both inside and outside training them and meeting their needs in many different ways, so I am thrilled to get to know your pet and what makes them happy and satisfied. My goal is to keep your pet as happy and comfortable as possible while you're away and I will work with you to figure out the best way to do that -- whether I am picking your pup up for a walk and taking them to a local trailhead, taking them for a stroll around the neighborhood, playing fetch or practicing training in the yard, or giving your kitty or other four-legged friend some affection and play time.

About: Last year, I sadly lost my 17-year-old dog, who had been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’d love to continue sharing my love, care, and companionship with other dogs around me. Pet care would fit easily into my routine as a part-time commitment. I’m usually available on Mondays and Wednesdays for dog walks and play dates, and I’d love to spend that time caring for and keeping dogs company. I would care for each dog with patience, attention, and lots of love. During walks and play dates, I’ll make sure they stay safe, active, comfortable, and happy.

About: I have over 20 years experience caring for cats and have taken care of cats of all ages, from kittens to senior cats. I’m very comfortable around cats and am regularly trusted to care for my friend’s cats. I often work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I’m available the majority of evenings and weekends and don’t typically go away during holiday weekends. I like to spend time with the cats I visit to make sure they get attention and feel comfortable with me. I’m happy to keep up whatever routine they have so they’re life isn’t too disrupted by their owners not being there.

About: I've taken care of dogs since my childhood, where I grew up in a house with 3 dogs. Now I care for an English Bulldog that's 9 years old I am not working at the moment and have a free schedule with plenty of time either for walks or drop in visits Monday through Friday I live in a spacious condo with a nice and sunbathed balcony, with direct access to nice trails for walking and a friendly English Bulldog to make your dog company.

About: Hey there, My name is Alicia! I am a 29 year old part-time teacher that wants to take care of some cute pets in my spare time! My availability varies during school months, but becomes a lot more open during the summer break! I have grown up my whole life with pets (dogs, cats, hamster, birds, fish) and I have many friends and family members that have pets that I take care of frequently! I don’t currently have any pets of my own right now, but I would love to pet sit, dog walk, or drop-in for your pets! Additionally, I have experience taking care of pets that need extra attention, such as giving medicine or extra grooming.
